Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!”

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

“Finz was hopping for a Monday night, and the noise level was high. The wait staff was friendly and service was top notch. They work hard to please and it was greatly appreciated by our group of 5. We tried the Street Corn appetizer (delicious) along with the warm sourdough bread and butter. Three people ordered Finz lobster sushi (they were delighted with it), another ordered New England seafood stew and swapped quinoa for linguine and fra diavolo to spice it up. He loved it! I had the swordfish with lemon herb vinaigrette and mixed vegetables and red bliss potatoes. The swordfish was delicious and super fresh. The drinks were well mixed and potent. Very pretty presentation. Finz is always good, and the only complaint I have heard about the food is the paella dish. The people who ordered it in my presence all disliked it and two of them agreed that it tasted like old bandaids. Upon further discussion they thought it may be the chorizo sausage.”

Next time I get a chance to visit I hope I get the same bartender. Food was good, the recommendation on the beer was awesome. I came all the way up from North Carolina. Never let Heather go! She is. An amazing, awesome , sweet bartender. I hope to make it back one day soon. I hope to get Heather for my bartender. Amazing person!!”

There are so many dining choices in Salem, and we return here time after time. Classic Italian with some interesting additions mixed in, like the Chicken Miguel. The eggplant rollatini is the best I’ve ever had. Large portions and reasonable pricing. Generous pours on cocktails. Even in October, when the city is incredibly busy, the food and service remain top notch.”

I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!”

I LOVE their themed ciders we came in October specifically for their Pocus flight and this past July for their Shark flight to celebrate shark week. We never leave without taking home a pack or two. The pastelitos were so amazingly fresh and delicious, and he made my Mango smoothie with a whole fresh mango! The flan was out of this world, and my friends Caramel Cake tasted like heaven! Even the french fries we got were fantastic! The gentleman who helped us (I'm guessing it was one of the owners) was so incredibly friendly, he definitely made two more local customers! We can't wait to try slices of his other cakes,as well as the other items listed on his menu! Great amount of food for the price as well! All around, a great guy, a great business!”

“This place is such a treat. We stopped in on a whim after much deliberation about what to eat in Salem, and we’re so happy we did. The owner, Ray, acquired Adea’s a few years back and the addition of Jamaican menu items to the mediterranean offerings really is the highlight, in my opinion. My boyfriend got the Jerk Chicken plate and I got Escoveitch fish. Both dishes were incredible, and you can obviously tell the passion and appreciation Chef Ray has for his food. It was all so good: Crispy fish skin, peas and rice, and delicious house-made jerk sauce that blew us away. Places like this are few and far between, so do yourself a favor and sit down in this place!”

“Came during a ladies trip in August. On our first day, we stopped by for lunch and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were cold and were made perfectly by the bartender. (espresso martinis were 💯) The next morning we tried their breakfast and it also did not disappoint. We sat outside both days, but the inside is beautiful and has murals on the walls. Staff were attentive and polite, I Highly recommend!”
