“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

They are always happy to accommodate and their flavor is always top tier! My husband and I (and our puppy, Dexter) stopped in for lunch on Wednesday and were treated to a wonderful meal with an awesome server and comfortable outdoor seating. I had the Spicy White Kimchi Ramen and my husband had the Margherita pizza. Both were amazing! I highly recommend stopping in when in Salem!”

“I can’t say enough great things about The Babe! Our food was excellent, and the atmosphere was fantastic. I had the Mr. Falafel sandwich, and I was still talking about it days later! It was so good—perfectly balanced flavors with just the right amount of tzatziki sauce (heavenly), all wrapped up in a soft wrap. The one recommendation I would make would be to cut the falafels into four pieces just to make it easier to eat. But to be honest, it didn’t stop me from devouring the whole thing, and I will be back to eat another one! But it will be a tossup—do I get the truffle burger or do I get another Mr. Falafel? My boyfriend got the Reuben, and he said it was incredible as well! Our bartender was fantastic—so friendly, knowledgeable, and rocking these awesome little heart glasses. She really knew her stuff when it came to cocktails. They actually serve orange Combier, which I feel is the cream of the crop for making the best margarita! She made us a fantastic margarita, and I also had another drink with grapefruit (I don’t remember the name), but it was delicious too! We sat at the bar and had the chance to meet one of the owners, who was so friendly and kind. The whole place has such a welcoming vibe, and I can only imagine how fun it must be when they have live music. I really can’t wait to go back!!”

“Went here for some snacks during my visit. Not a huge selection on the baked goods but good enough variety that it didn't bother me. I went here because it was a gluten free option and I need that for my allergies. I had a red velet cupcake, and a sweet heavy cake plus a fruity pebbles rice crispy treat my husband had a cookie but he didn't care for it but I loved everything I had! He did loved my fruity pebbles treat! It looks so clean in here and the service was nice the guy at the register was fast and pleasent! I highly recommend you stop here if you need gluten free treats!

“A&J King have been selling excellent traditional french bakery items for years now and have become a local institution. Over time, they've slowly been adding more vegan options to the menu. Vegan muffins, cheese, and cream cheese are available daily. They also sometimes have vegan cake, sandwich, and soup specials. There's at least one vegan employee that I know of and the staff is knowledgeable and accommodating. Plus, there's excellent coffee from local favorite roaster, Coffee by Design.”

The pastelitos were so amazingly fresh and delicious, and he made my Mango smoothie with a whole fresh mango! The flan was out of this world, and my friends Caramel Cake tasted like heaven! Even the french fries we got were fantastic! The gentleman who helped us (I'm guessing it was one of the owners) was so incredibly friendly, he definitely made two more local customers! We can't wait to try slices of his other cakes,as well as the other items listed on his menu! Great amount of food for the price as well! All around, a great guy, a great business!”

“The cider was predominately on the sweet side. They did have a Hocus Pocus flight, in theme for Salem in October. The New England Cider and the Hopped cider are more dry. I appreciated those more than the sweet.”

“The chicken salad is delicious. If you try it, have it on the pumpernickel bread. It is fabulous. Their sandwiches are huge! If you go with someone else you could split and still feel as though you've eaten a whole sandwich. Everything is fresh, the place is always clean and bright.”

“Came during a ladies trip in August. On our first day, we stopped by for lunch and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were cold and were made perfectly by the bartender. (espresso martinis were 💯) The next morning we tried their breakfast and it also did not disappoint. We sat outside both days, but the inside is beautiful and has murals on the walls. Staff were attentive and polite, I Highly recommend!”
