“My girls and I attempted to eat at the Salem retreat on our first morning of our trip. We waited 20 minutes for a table after watching 7-10 people be seat AFTER we were given a buzzer to wait. We left and came to Dotty & Rays. We got a table as soon as we walked in, had water brought over immediately, drink and food orders promptly taken. The food was fantastic. We had one part of our order missing and once they realized the issue, it was remedied with speed and courtesy. Everyone was very friendly and renewed our experience in Salem. We enjoyed it some much we came back this morning. This is the place to come to a good meal and pleasant experience to start your day. Come to Dotty and Rays!”

Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!”

“This place was absolutely phenomenal! First of all, the view is spectacular. We came on a beautiful day in fall and the temperature was amazing outside. I had my first ever clam chowder and lobster roll here and they were both so amazing. I got the warm lobster roll and it was so filling. I am from Louisiana so I am no stranger to oysters but the east coast oysters here were so delicious and different from southern oysters. I ordered half a dozen and ended up ordering a half dozen more. I could have honestly ordered more if I wasn’t so full. The service here was also amazing. Our waitress was kind and attentive and offered us the best recommendations as it was our first day and restaurant we ate at in Salem. If you are in the Salem area, this place is an absolute must!!”

“I cannot say enough good things about Antique Table. The food is amazing, and service is fabulous. Great atmosphere both indoors and outdoors, and tons of food & beverage options. There are so many dining choices in Salem, and we return here time after time. Classic Italian with some interesting additions mixed in, like the Chicken Miguel. The eggplant rollatini is the best I’ve ever had. Large portions and reasonable pricing. Generous pours on cocktails. Even in October, when the city is incredibly busy, the food and service remain top notch.”

“Came during a ladies trip in August. On our first day, we stopped by for lunch and drinks. The food was fresh and tasty. The drinks were cold and were made perfectly by the bartender. (espresso martinis were 💯) The next morning we tried their breakfast and it also did not disappoint. We sat outside both days, but the inside is beautiful and has murals on the walls. Staff were attentive and polite, I Highly recommend!”

The food was pretty good, we had a small BBQ chicken and a small Meat pizza. I do think the pricing is inflated especially on the bottled beverages. All and all a good experience though so if you want to open your wallet up I suggest giving them a try.”

“Went to On the Grind this morning after seeing a post about them having a coconut bagel. The ladies behind the counter are very nice and know each of their regular customers. I watched them greet many and knew exactly what they were going to order or already had a preorder waiting. I ordered the coconut bagels for my son and I. One with regular cream cheese and one with pineapple cream cheese and they did not disappoint!!! The coconut bagel with pineapple was delicious and not overly sweet and lots of toasted coconut. Highly recommend trying this little hidden gem!”

I LOVE their themed ciders we came in October specifically for their Pocus flight and this past July for their Shark flight to celebrate shark week. We never leave without taking home a pack or two. It is kind of hard to find parking but we make it work. There is no food here but sometimes they have food trucks or you can bring your own food and eat it at the patio.”

“This is a speakeasy, when the red light above the door, down the alley is on, they are open. The one time we visited, we had a great time. There was free comedy show, that was great! The host, Allie was soo funny. Numerous drink options and food are available. The bar is big and there are various other seating options, high tops, couches, and chairs. The place was packed around 7 and into the evening.”

“My fiancé and I were craving oxtail and decided to order from this Jamaican restaurant—and let me just say, the food did not disappoint! The oxtail was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Everything we tried was seasoned so well and packed with flavor.

I forgot to grab the chef’s name, but whoever was behind the food that night deserves a big shoutout. You can tell there’s real love and skill going into the cooking here. We’ll definitely be ordering again—highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Jamaican food! I was not able to take pictures but we will be back and let me not forget my beef patty- I ate it for lunch and it was perfect!”
