“The sandwiches here are MASSIVE and loaded up. Get the sourdough!! Easily the softest, most moist sourdough I’ve ever had.
The pastries are also good. They are known for the maple scone, which was good but I found it a little dry/chalky. The banana chocolate chunk muffin was great.“

“Our favorite local coffee shop. They constantly pull delicious espresso, have a great selection of roasts, and the food always satisfies. The chocolate zucchini loaf cannot be missed! I also really appreciate that there’s no WiFi. It makes it easy to consistently find a place to sit because people aren’t camping out all day.“

“We went here because is was apparently ranked one of the top 20 bakeries in the US. It is on par with other local bakeries and I'm not sure why this one ranked any higher since we got at least 5 pasties to sample plus the baguette and everything was fine but not out of this world. I actually prefer the pasties at Salt. It's also incredibly cramped inside so just be prepared to grab and go.“

“Vietnamese café with solid coffee and matcha.
Stopped by a few weekends ago, a little past noon, and the place was already packed. Most of the food items (including the egg rolls) were sold out by then, so we ended up ordering the grilled pork bánh mì, a salted matcha latte, and an egg coffee.
The salted matcha latte was great. This was only my second time trying salted foam on a latte, but the sweet-and-salty combination worked as expected. The foam added a pleasant savory note that balanced the matcha nicely without overwhelming it.
The egg coffee, unfortunately, was bad. We had to wait an extra 20 minutes for a fresh batch of egg foam, but even then, it didn’t integrate well with the espresso and tasted bitter. My Vietnamese friend mentioned that egg coffee is typically much sweeter (closer to a dessert coffee), so this wasn’t quite what I imagined.
The grilled pork bánh mì was good. Can’t say I eat enough banh mi to call this top-tier or not, but the baguette had the right crunch. Just wish there was more sauce.“

“I had maybe my favorite sandwich of all time at this quaint and unassuming cafe.
Not in the loud bombastic sort of way, the overflowing ingredients arranged nicely for instagram, the punny names or the clever fusions. No, none of that. Just a simple sandwich with fresh, perfectly balanced ingredients, creating the perfect bite over and over. I wasn't expecting anything remotely of that caliber when I came for a lunch on a day off. But I took one bite and felt transported to a time when things were done right. Done for the sake of the craft and not to sell out or create lines. Done in a way that speaks of not knowing how to do it differently. It was truly spectacular.
The iced coffee was terrible though.“

“Petsi Pies in Somerville is a gem loved by people all over Boston. Their pecan pie is simply the best—perfectly sweet, with a great crust. If you’re looking for a classic pie done right, this is the place to go. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to add a little extra to their Thanksgiving table or for birthday pie lovers!“

“It’s like an old school dunks in here. Always filled with folks hanging out gossiping over coffee. It’s clean. They’re always fast and accurate. The staff is friendly. The gentleman with the longer dark hair really seems to enjoy is his job and will banter with the regulars, he’s really kind and personable.
It’s really clean. Big parking lot. It’s a Dunks, it’s not here to reinvent the wheel on cheap coffee. Place your order, enjoy the atmosphere while you wait and head out for your day. What more could you need?“

“I had such a chaotic and stressful morning, and to make it worse, I accidentally ordered a grilled cheese instead of my coffee because I removed the wrong item at checkout. Anthony was so kind and understanding about it—he didn’t give me any trouble at all and was genuinely happy to fix my order.
He made my drink with such a positive attitude and completely turned my morning around. Customer service like that really stands out, and I’m so grateful for his kindness!“

“Gong Cha in Davis Square stands out in the local boba landscape for reasons beyond just the drinks. The space is notably larger and more comfortable than most bubble tea spots in the area, with plenty of seating and wifi that makes it easy to settle in for a while rather than treating it as a quick pickup counter. It has built a reputation as a genuine hang out spot in a neighborhood that welcomes that kind of place.
The drinks hold up well across the menu. The passion fruit green tea is the order most people gravitate toward and for good reason, refreshing and bright with a natural tartness that works particularly well over ice. The taro milk tea is another reliable pick, creamy and subtly sweet in the way a good taro should be, and the passionfruit yogurt slush is worth trying if you want something more textural and fruit-forward. The star boba is a fun alternative to standard pearls with a mild fruity flavor that works well in the lighter tea options, and the herbal jelly is worth specifying if you want a less sweet, more earthy addition to the cup.
The staff is consistently warm and genuinely helpful in steering you toward something you will enjoy if you are unsure where to start on the menu. The baristas take recommendations seriously rather than defaulting to generic suggestions, and that kind of engagement makes a difference at a spot you might visit regularly. The space is well kept and the overall vibe is peaceful enough for a work session or a long conversation without feeling like you are occupying a table you should give up.“

“I would like to give a shout out to Erica who was the hostess in this location today. Erica came up to the table and mentioned about the marination procedure of chicken to make sure there is no food allergy problems with the customers (us). I have never had this experience where the hostess paying special attention to each one of the customers especially on a busy Friday evening. Tatte is lucky to have employees like Erica who go extra mile that will only help build the brand further!“

“All DD's are differant, depends on the staff, I seem to find the ones that serve the older left over ice coffee that has a strong taste and the prices are to much for iced mud. When you find the ones that use fresh iced coffee stick with those good stores.“

“Clerk was rude and disrespectful. Couldn't get off his phone and speak directly to me. Only his back. Ordered Zig-Zag wraps. 4 to be exact. Price on package is $1.49. Dude is charging $2.50/ea. When told that he can't charge like that, he told me he could. So I only bought and paid for 2. I've posted a picture.“
