“l have tried about half a dozen restaurants to try their fish and chips. Pete's Point has the best fish and chips since Jimmy D's back in the day. l would highly recommend eating here. l plan on coming here quite often.“

“Just dined at 908Bistro for the first time tonight. So happy we tried it. Our waitress Jess was very friendly. Food was wonderful. I had the blackened steak top with Alfredo special. Steak tips were very tender. My husband had the seared tuna and sad it was great too. Will definitely be returning.“

“Our group of 4 visited the Scargo Cafe as newcomers, and the experience was even better than we had heard! First off, the Cape in early-March is practically shutdown for the winter, so finding an open restaurant is a challenge in itself. But not only was Scargo Cafe open, it was a quite filled with customers. Nonetheless, the service was prompt, friendly and experienced. Drinks orders were taken within a couple minutes and delivered soon thereafter (nice selection of wines and draft beers!). The menu had a wide diversity of choices, quite impressive. We ordered the special beef stir fry, grilled swordfish with rice/asparagus, and shrimp asian salad (w/ almonds+cranberries). Topped off by grape-nut custard (a house specialty). Everything was excellent and filling. Will certainly return when back to the Cape.“

“In April, we attended a wine dinner at the Pheasant with Patrick Cappiello,winemaker, of Monte Rio Cellars who presented his wines along side Executive Chef Andrew Reilly's most delectable dishes. The evening was beyond expectations! Lovely pours of wines while Patrick shared his history and wine techniques. The plentiful platters are served family style.The former owners, Bill and Denise Atwood, found the perfect young couple to hand their beloved restaurant to. We loved meeting like-minded oneophiles and look forward to many more such evenings.“

I looked around and every table had different dishes AND everyone seemed to be loving their choices. The waiter was the best. He and the other wait staff gave us recommendations for places to eat while we were on the Cape. He was so personable and attentive. It was a great start to our vacation!“

“I LOVE fried clams and I just had the most amazing (whole belly of course!) clam roll DEELICIOUS. After lunch, something truly exceptional happened… I was waiting for my husband when someone walked up to me and offered me some “extra clams”. and then strolled back into the kitchen. Ahhhhh. A+ We have eaten here may times over many years but tonight we were made uncomfortable by our waitress when first she told us we would have to vacate our table by a certain time which we thought was more time then we planned to have stayed then came back when it was obvious that we were about done and told us we had to be out a half hr sooner. It was a rude ending to a delightful expensive dinner.“

“This restaurant has one of the best owners I’ve ever met in any business on Cape Cod. My wife ate here recently with our kids and her brother. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was great. My wife lost her wallet and she believed it was here. The owner helped me try to find it after I got out of work. We went through everything trying to find this. He also checked the cameras upon request and Was very helpful which lead to us finding it at the location beforehand.I highly recommend this place.“

“I love this place. It's amazing. It's one of the few good values left on the cape. The ownership runs a tight ship. The views at sunset are unmatched. Bring your favorite bottle of wine and share a table with someone new. The food comes out hot and quick. The line to get your order in is as much a control on kitchen flow. They have amazing team, tip the kitchen crew a few bucks. They do a great job and are one of the best seasonal stops in the mid-cape.“

“The busy places had a ridiculous wait time. So we drove to this place. The decor isnt welcoming, its more of a sports bar than family dining. Food was pleasantly surprising. Hostess was friendly. We got calamari, mac and cheese, fisherman's platter and broiled scallops. Everything was very good. Give this place a consideration. The food wont disappoint.“

“This is not in Sandwich but I do believe it needs sharing. My mom has dementia and recently moved into an assisted living place in West Yarmouth. She was quite ill today with a stomach virus and was unable to keep anything down. My husband went driving around to find some chicken soup for her around 7 PM and came to the Yarmouth House. He pulled up out back where 2 kitchen guys appeared to be on break and told them how sick my mom is and asked if they had chicken soup. The owner was one of those guys and told him to wait right there and he would be right back. He came back with at least a 1/2 gallon of homemade Greek chicken soup and refused to let us pay for it. He insisted he just wanted him to go take care of my mom!! It is the first thing she could eat and tolerate. She only had a few spoonfuls but did feel so much better after eating it. This man made my heart so happy. There are angels among us and this man most definitely is one of them. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and God bless you sir!!“

“Being in a small plaza, this place was a pleasant surprise with a cozy colonial atmosphere. We were seated by a window that had a beautiful view.The menu had some great offerings. Inhad the Turkey Stuffing melt with Mac & Cheese. It was excellent, some of the best turkey I've had eating out.My husband had the Cape Cod Rueben, which was filling for him and tasted great.The service was great, I was surprised by how fast our.food came out after ordering.Over all, we both agreed it was a great choice on our day trip.“

Great menu; this place has something for everyone! Prices are reasonable; generous portions. Our only negative was the loud music (not live) coming from the bar. We were in an adjacent dining room and the volume was too much!! Can't imagine sitting in the bar area and trying to have a conversation with someone. I will definitely be back to Moonfish. “It is hard to differentiate yourself as a breakfast place, but my measure is the corned beef hash. I have it whenever I try a new breakfast place. The Wee Packet has the best I have ever had - anywhere. Pure natural flavor, not overstuffed with potatoes, not too salty, not too mushy. And they serve so much of it that it is never old or stale. I will make a special trip to the Cape just to have breakfast here and I am 2 hours away. 10 out of 10.“

The seafood is fresh and not greasy, portions are good, owners are friendly, and the atmosphere is “Cape Cod”. So fresh and we go to Seafood Sam's every time we are on Cape Cod.Wheelchair accessibility: I am disabled and ride a scooter. “Down here on a long weekend from the North Shore. Absolutely amazing restaurant. The atmosphere, service, quality of food and drink are second to none. Our 2 daughters have food allergies and they accommodated them with ease. Our server George was Top Shelf all around. Best Crock of French Onion I have ever had, the flatbreads were amazing, and the martinis were to die for. When we received the tab it was very reasonable. Looking to come back tomorrow for seconds!“
