Huge portions, a well balanced plate (not too heavy on the pasta) the Italian Chop Salad for two can feed four. The waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Looking forward to going back .“

“Stumbled into this restaurant today by accident, and left wondering how soon I could get back there. Absolutely the best-tasting food I have ordered in most of New England. The servings are generous, the menu extensive, the ingredients fresh and perfectly seasoned. One of our group is a picky eater and she couldn’t get enough of her veggie burrito. My grilled eggplant sandwich was to die for, and another at our table ordered the portobello sandwich, which she declared superb. The owner/host and a new employee could not have been more accommodating. This is a very clean, unassuming place, a real gem. Coming down from Vermont - the land of vegetarians - I went back wishing we had this great place where I live.“

This particular time, I made a reservation for Father's Day but I accidentally booked it for a week prior - the manager was so incredible and could hear the desperation in my voice, so squeezed us in and made it work by his own kindness, even though the restaurant was fully booked. Our waiter was amazing - the service was incredible from beginning to end and our meal was absolutely delicious and so freshly homemade as always! We cannot wait to come back, thank you Spiga!!“

My only complaint is that Lloyd's gives too much food. After the meal I'm done for the day. Today three of us had to get the $13 special because it was such a great deal (3 large eggs, 5 pieces thick bacon, 3 huge sausage links, mountain of hash browns, choice of toast or English muffin). We took at least a pound or more of food home.“

I decided on fried chicken and fried vegetable rice, which turned out to be an awesome choice. The rice came out first, and it was fantastic. The chicken was perfectly crisp, just the way I like it, even though I didn't request it that way. The customer service was top-notch—very professional. I only interacted with one staff member, but the service was fast, and I didn't have to wait long for anything. I highly recommend you try their food. I'll definitely be coming back. The food is surprisingly good, even though it's all flash-frozen off-site and simply warmed up here. They offer an incredible variety for indecisive families & groups.“
