“I recently checked out Van Leeuwen and it was such a delightful experience! Their homemade ice creams are incredibly creamy, with fun flavors. I got honeycomb and brown sugar cookie dough and it was very yummy. The staff are super friendly and the interior is great for taking pictures, with bright colors and decor. Highly recommended.“

“In town from Boise Idaho. Haven't been to Bedford Farms since I was 10 years old (now 41) the ice cream is amazing! I wasn't aware I could get a cover for my cup of ice cream so that was a fun drive home to Woburn but it's part of the fun!“

“Wow is all we can say about the wonderful ice cream we had while visiting the Minuteman National Park in Concord and Lexington. This ice cream shop, while very small inside, packs one heck of a punch when it comes to their ice cream selections. There were several different serving sizes and some of us let our eyes determine the size, which turned out to be a mistake. We were a party of ten and everyone enjoyed our choices of ice cream and cannot forget just how creamy the ice cream was. The staff was wonderful, service with a smile. The prices of everything there were more than reasonable, and the taste made it all worth every penny we spent. The shop does have a small area inside to sit and enjoy your treat, only a few tables, but has some benches out in front of the shop and there is plenty of free parking available.“

“They have issues at times keeping their supply thick enough, it's expensive like everything else, and their reliance on teens comes with some of the expected issues (they all seem largely to be great, though.)
Still, we keep coming back regardless because they are just that damn good!

“I frequently visit Wally's because of my deep love of ice cream. I typically enjoy the Purple Cow flavor in a sundae. But when Fall hits, my kryptonite is PUMPKIN OREO. Whoever came up with that flavor is a mad scientist/genius. I keep going back for it every few days. I even call Wally's beforehand to make sure they still have it in stock. Haha. Dedication.“

The menu had a fantastic variety of flavors and treats, from classic cones and sundaes to unique and creative options.
I opted for a double scoop of their homemade vanilla double cone and chocolate sprinkle (+dipped in chocolate sauce) ice-cream. The ice cream was incredibly creamy and rich, with the perfect balance of sweetness. It had a delightful, authentic flavor, and was brimming with chocolate.
The service was exceptional too. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, making the experience even more enjoyable. They were patient while I made my choice and were able to accommodate my unique request.

“Pretty decent ice cream at reasonable prices. Even in a small, you can get two flavors. I got banana and chocolate peanut butter. Both were creamy (banana can get icy) and we t together really well. I wish the peanut butt was better mixed in though as some bites were just massive globs of peanut butter instead of ribbons.“

Make sure to try one of their sundaes; the hot fudge tastes how I remember it as a kid. On busy nights, I order online and pick up in the convenient freezer near the door.

“Who doesn’t loveeee a great tasting ice cream served the old fashioned way … nothing fancy or trendy just great tasting ice cream served at the perfect temperature! There are so many kinds of America’s favorite dessert and JP has so many varieties both with and without lactose plus toppings that it’s heaven sent. And we are also supporting our local ice cream shop :) My favorite is the hot fudge sundae on mint chip ice cream sprinkled with Oreo chips and real whipped cream. Perfection. And there’s always a happy crowd of locals with giddy children laughing and international visitors smiling and chatting. The world is at peace over a few scoops of frozen cream…
