My hubby had a roast chicken sandwich with fries and a Fresh Lobster Ale as well and he loved it. We had a recommendation from our tour guide and a taxi concierge... so we knew it had to be good when the locals say to go there. “This place was a huge surprise and what honestly made our experience was Mario, our server! He was funny, attentive and helpful with the menu. It’s rare to find servers like Mario in the Boston eating scene and he made the experience what it was.

The lamb chops were my favorite, they were cooked perfectly medium rare, the spanakopita was top notch. All the food came piping hot which of course is always a plus.

There were a lot of great appetizer options and I wish I tried more!

“The design of the dining room is really beautiful. Light with high ceilings very clean lines. Great acoustics. From the moment I entered, the hostesses could not have been nicer. Friendly and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. Spectacular flavors, beautiful presentation, fresh and filling. My only issue was with my waiter. The support staff were fantastic, but after taking my order, I only saw my waiter once before asking for the bill. It seemed like he was overwhelmed and didn't have time or interest in checking on how I was enjoying my meal. But everyone else was great. Friendly and helpful. You must not miss a dinner at OSTRA. It's a wonderful experience!“

Every aspect of the meal, from the creative drinks to the delicious appetizers to the fantastic main course was outstanding. Our server, Alex, was attentive and very pleasant. Katie, the bartender, made one of the best lychee cocktails I’ve had — perfectly balanced and so refreshing. I also want to acknowledge Gary, the director of operations, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality. Highly recommend this spot for a relaxed, upscale vibe with top-notch service.“

“I’m a picky one when it comes to eating fish. This little shop right under the Fore River Bridge is the absolute best spot if you want fish so fresh it is obvious that it is the day’s catch! The batter is perfectly light, doesn’t separate from the fish and the result is simply the best fried fish I’ve EVER TASTED! Do yourself a favor and check them out!“

“Lobster rolls!!! Absolutely delicious rolls and the clam chowder!!! I’m not a fan of coleslaw, but their take is good.

I do suggest getting a warm lobster roll and an 8 oz clam chowder. The 3 dollar markup for the warmth is worth it, but also questionable.
