“Hungry bite pizza is located on 1771 Ness Ave. in the St. James area of Winnipeg. It’s a short drive from Polo Park shopping center. This was the former location of Augustino‘s Pizza which was very well known in the area. Ownership changed about five years ago and I stopped by for a quick bite. They have a lunch special with two slices and a drink for $6.72. It was actually pretty good to my surprise. The pizza was fresh and the dough was very soft. Good value. They sell paneer pizza and other fusion pizzas which are not available at any other pizza joints. They also sell wings, calzones, breadsticks, gravy poutine, chocolate cake, as well as many other items. Good place overall to stop by. The owner works here every day and takes great pride in the establishment. I recommend. Support local!“

“This its an excellent restaurant close to RMTC. We volunteer there and usually make it a date night before our evening volunteer shift. We ordered a traditional Bruschetta to share and a Correintes Calzone to share. Our server was very helpful and the food (brought by another server) was hot and perfectly prepared. We really enjoyed the service and the food. We will be baking to try other dishes on the menu.“

“This is by far the best pizza we have had in Winnipeg: this location has no indoor dining (take out only) but they were able to put two chairs and a table together for us! Like enjoying our own private quiet restaurant with great eats: the desserts are still temping us!! Love it, much thanks to the friendly staff!“

I got the buy 1, get 1 free small pepperoni pizzas, though I prefer their pep and mush pizza. I also love the tiramisu cake. So delish! The spot is cozy and we got seated in a quiet corner nice touch. I kicked off with my usual gin and tonic and the place was busy good vibes people enjoying their Italian eats. We split a thin-crust pizza I ordered the meatiest one can’t recall the name. It was delicious great crust quality toppings and fresh. Prices were decent and it felt like a healthier style pizza thin fire-baked and topped with quality cheese. The waitress was super attentive checked in a few times. Cozy atmosphere dim lighting and definitely a place I’ll hit up again.“

“Used to go there as a kid, 45+ years ago. Was in the area so decided to order to go. Got there early so they asked if I was parked behind the building, they said wait in the car and they'd bring it out to me. The pizza was delicious, brought back alot of old memories of when we used to pick up from the original store with Tony himself making the pies.

I specifically asked for extra sauce and there was almost none. pizza smelt really good. but had no flavor. wings were disgusting. it's almost like they boil them. not sure what's going on there. horrible. placed order online for pick up. pizza was cold by the time I got it home. 5 minute drive. not sure what the positive reviews are eating because it's not the same pizza I had. 222 is actually better. never again. horrible, Winnipegs worst pizza ,hands down.“
