“Vera's food is wonderfully simple and top notch. While this restaurant, known for it's great authentic italian pizzas has been in the south osborne area for sometime now, it is truly a fantastic addition to the vibrant & nolstagic Riverview Fort Rouge neighborhood it calls home.
While the service is nothing fancy, the service is quick, efficient and all the staff seem polite and well versed on the menu. When weather permits the patio is a nice touch with the tree canopys of Riverview overhead. The patio is preferred by many as the interior of the restaurant is small ,quant and a lil dated...but none of that matters once your pizza arrives. Pizzas are insanely good here, not drowning in grease and cheese, but thin authentic and creative. I had the Hot Honey Pork Za with a side of italian meatballs....and it all blew my mind. Our food arrived in 15 minutes on a busy night fresh out of the oven. The food was a great contrast to some of the other types of ho-hum pizza joints out there.
I may sound a little bias but i am just a strong cheerleader for small business owners who commit to a vision of creative quality- consistency and customer care and actually execute in one of the most challenging sectors out there...Rougers dont mess around! Well done Vera's“

“Ordered from Hungry Bite Pizza for the first time and am pleasantly surprised. Often I find restaurants are sparse with toppings and I have to order “extra” just to get a reasonable amount of toppings spread on the pie. And I always, always have to order double pineapple. This was not the case here. The pizza was well balanced without having to pay for extra /heavy toppings. We got two XL three toppings for 44$ after tip. Definitely will be going there again…actually, this will probably be our new go to.“

I got the buy 1, get 1 free small pepperoni pizzas, though I prefer their pep and mush pizza. I also love the tiramisu cake. So delish! I might order again, if they make it to my hot level liking. I did put in the notes to make it level 10+ I'll request level 30 next time. The spice level was my only disappointment.“
