“Located in the Crown development. Easy parking in the public parking lot. We always share the Hanger Steak with Cauliflour Mash. It’s perfectly tender and delicious every time. This time we ordered dessert, a flourless chocolate waffle with iced cream and whipped cream. It’s really decadent and delicious. Another excellent meal. Prices are reasonable and the servers are friendly and skilled. The room is very nice too.“

“My wife and I arrived shortly after Saturday morning opening. A cheerful Giovanni promptly welcomed us. I informed him we would be a party of 5 or 6, the rest of our party would be there shortly. Giovanni welcomed us to wait at the bar, and handed us menus to get familiar with. He also offered to prepare any drinks we might be interested in and mentioned several. We do not drink, but hung out at the front. We mentioned we were celebrating my daughter's birthday. This was our first visit here. When the rest of our party arrived, Mark had our table ready. Giovanni brought us to the table. He took care of water and checking if we wanted any other beverages. After that, we ordered two starters. A dozen oysters on the half shell, and their smoked fish platter. Both were very well presented and very appetizing. We ordered our entrees sometime during the appetizers. Giovanni was continously smiling, joking around, and very happy in general. Our main course were served in a timely manner. Everyone ordered something different. Every dish was very well prepared and presented. The serving sizes were generous, from our point of view. We were full and satiated, but not stuffed. Everything was fresh looking and fresh tasking. The seasoning brought out the natural flavors of the proteins and sides. Everyone had a clean plate at the end. To our surprise, Giovanni brought over a desert with a candle in it. He led us in a happy birthday song. Obviously we were very happy with the entire experience and look forward to visiting again.“

So so glad I ended up trying it because the food was legit amazing - which is great because the area historically has not had great Chinese options.Got the hunan & orange chicken along with hot & sour soup - couldn’t tell you a single bad thing about any. Main entree + lo mein + soup + egg roll for under $15 is amazing value for the portion size.This has 100% become our household’s go to.“

“Had a taste for chicken tenders and this place did not disappoint! The young lady at the counter was very polite/helpful/friendly, the tenders looked different to me, but tasted amazing!! They were cooked to perfection (perfectly crispy)! The fries are out of this world! They are super crispy and seasoned wonderfully! I will definitely be back!“

“Well done! This restaurant has far exceeded what I thought possible on the corner of Watkins Mill and 355. Walking in you see the place is gorgeous! The tables and the bar are just beautiful, with dark wood and comfortable seats you can just slide into for a long dinner talking with friends. It was a warm night so we chose to sit in the patio. The outdoor seating is amazing, most could not have imagined such a chill setting along 355, Firebirds has pulled it off in style. The canopy has both fans and heaters to keep it comfortable, with something that looks like adjustable curtains hung overhead to let more sun in or to block out the heat or light rain. The wait staff worked well as a team last night, quickly getting our drinks and appetizers. The food was delicious! Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is an excellent addition to this area.“

“The first time I came here was to celebrate my birthday with a few co-worker girlfriends. The girls told them it was my birthday and they came out sang to me ,(I can't recall if this is where I got to wear a sombrero while they sang). We had a good time.... Since then I have visited a few more times as it is in walking distance for me. It's a great place if you want to sip on a margarita on the patio which has a sort of tiki bar vibe at night with the lights...or come watch a match while eating the tasty Mexican & El Salvadoran cuisines. I've tired and enjoyed the ceviche, fajitas, pupusas and margaritas several times. I did not care for the nachos but it was a to-go order and sometimes that can really make a difference when you get nachos. The staff has always been welcoming and friendly. I recommend stopping by!“

“Stopped by Poke Bros during my lunch break to pick up a bowl to-go! I had gotten a 25% coupon in the mail so today seemed like the perfect day to use it. You can order off their regular menu with pre-made bowls, but I chose to build my own. I got a half-half salad mix/sushi rice, half-half salmon and marinated tuna, with pretty much all the free ingredients including carrots, edamame, corn, cucumber, tofu, and fried onion. The sauces I chose were spicy aioli and ponzu. Positives first: the bowl tasted GOOD. I mean flavor was on point. The salmon was fatty and melt in your mouth. It tasted fresh. I just haven't quite had salmon in a poke bowl like that before. I was surprised that the tofu had flavor as well, like it was marinated in a sweet soy. Overall no complaints with taste. Where it fell short for me was the portion. Hardly got any protein and on top of that, they chop the fish into super tiny pieces so you get even less. I ended up paying $12 for the tiny bowl (with the 25% coupon) but nonetheless was expecting more. Definitely was still feeling a little hungry afterwards. Overall, would give it a 3.5 (debated rounding up or down). Not sure that I'll be back as the value isn't quite there for me.“

“We happened to come across Yu Zhou after a trip to Sam's. This is clearly a family owned restaurant. On our visit I noticed the owner giving the staff iced teas from a local boba spot. Major kudos, more restaurants could learn from his leadership. Take care of your people and they'll take care of your customers. Staff was awesome and attentive, it's really an all hands on deck operation! Now the food.... Generous portions, American and authentic Chinese options and something for most everyone to enjoy. All in all a fantastic option for when you crave Chinese food!“

“We came twice, one dining in, one take-out. We tried the specials (not on English menu): 什锦炒河粉three meat fried with veggies and wide rice noodles; 盐酥鸡便当fried popcorn chicken bento; 夜市炒花枝night market squid soup; 三文鱼炒饭salmon fried rice. The most recommended dish is the fried wide rice noodle, very good portion, good amount of protein and veggies. My second favorite goes to squid soup, comfort food, squid is fresh, good nutrition balance! It's good to have a restaurant offers family style food nearby.“

“I have been coming to this restaurant since it opened. I have always been very happy with their food. I really wanted a chicken chimichanga which I have had numerous times before at this restaurant. To my surprise this time they looked like Taquitos. I wanted the enclosed chimichanga with the tender chicken. This time it was not enclosed and of course the chicken was dry and crisp when it came out. I asked the waitress if it was the House special chimichangas that I ordered and she said yes. I told her I was accustomed to the enclosed chimichanga where the meat stays tender. She said that is only available in the seafood or fajita deluxe chimichanga which she would be happy to switch out for me. I didn't want seafood and I didn't want a steak and chicken combination, I was just really looking forward to a simple chicken chimichanga that wasn't dry. And of course I will never ever send anything back, I have seen way too many movies of what could be done if you send your food back and I don't want to chance it. I will go back again to this restaurant but I will never order the House Special Chimichanga's again. There is plenty of other good Mexican restaurants in Hagerstown that I can get the chimichanga that I want and not taquito looking chimichanga's. The taquitos that I was served tasted fine but I was just really looking forward to a simple chicken chimichanga so I left unsatisfied. The margarita did help get me through my disappointment. “This place is a hit or miss from time to time. I wonder if they had new management recently as the food quality was better than the last few times we went there and the wait staff seemed to be more attentive. Five of us had dinner there last Saturday and the food was quite good. I appreciate the manager and another helper took the food to our table while it was freshly cooked so they were not sitting under the heat lamp forever as our waitress was probably busy with something else. The bang bang shrimp appetizer was hot and good. The rainbow trout was hot and tasty. The fish and chip portion was large and the fries were crispy. The salmon dish was overcooked and dry. The medium rare sirloin was overcooked on one side but overall not too bad. We had stopped going there about 10 months ago because they changed some menu items (no more grilled pork chop) and the wait staff was generally inattentive and food was dry and stale when bought to our table for three previous visits. I also didn’t like that they poured water from glass back into the small water pitcher/contianer when they cleaned up the tables after the customers left. I am skeptical that they could be cleaned well by the dishwasher before the next use.“

“Perfect Sunday Dim Sum brunch. They seat before 11am, and we’re filled by 11:30. This place is always a winner for my family. The chrysanthemum tea is a delight as well. There are so many people working, you’re quickly taken care of.Not pictured but equally delicious were the baked pork buns, sticky rice, honey walnut shrimp, shrimp cheung fun, crispy taro, pan fried noodles, garlic Choy sum, eggplant with shrimp.“

“pretty good dim sum place, went around 1 p.m. on a Monday. The place was quite empty, there was only my family and three other groups there. Since it was quite late there weren’t many dim sum choices left so if you want a variety of dim sum, go before noon. The shrimp dim sum dumpling was my favorite since it had actual shrimp in there and it tasted amazing. The roasted duck wasn’t bad but it was a bit too oily for me, feel like they should’ve roasted longer so the oil would be more dried up. Overall, the food was pretty good and the service was amazing, our teapot was never empty.“
