I no longer drink coffee often but the couple times it was so silky smooth and flavorful. I typically get a large cup of their infused water. Also their desserts so so good!!! “First time trying this place. Inside was immaculate, very clean and organized. The pastry case was well stocked and the items were perfectly displayed. Items are uniform, hand pies are golden brown and flaky, cookies are large and look moist. Everything is highly attractive and their display is on point. We didn't try anything edible but we got coffees. I had Keon's latte which is White Chocolate Macadamia nut and its delicious. Nutty, not overly sweet, smooth. Can't wait to come back and try more. Try them. Shop local.”

“Riks is a total star. When you're standing in front of the restaurant you're in a parking lot of a an old shopping center. Once inside you're in a contemporary bar and restaurant. I believe that much of the work in creating the space was performed by the then staff, many of whom worked together with owners at a prior restaurant. The food is wonderful, creative, fresh and satisfying. My favorites include a smoked salmon salmon carpoccio (sorry about the spelling). A great selection of salads with the ability to. add to them crab cake chicken etc. The sandwiches range from a Reuben to a grilled mahi mahi .My favorite when I want a substantial dinner is their short ribs and mashed potatoes. Writing this review has just made me hungry. Guess where I'm going for an early dinner. Prices are VERY reasonable”

“My husband and I have been dining at Little Alex’s for around 5 years now but today I felt compelled to make a review! The food is ALWAYS delicious & it’s the only local pizza that gets close to pizza from my home town. In addition I want to comment on how CLEAN their restaurant is & what got me today is that this is the first time I’ve used their restroom in-house and it was SOOOO CLEAN. That speaks volumes to me. The floor, the walls, the toilet, the sink - spotless. It didn’t have any spell to it and it is clear that they take great pride in their space. Thank you, Little Alex’s for a great dinner and a clean restaurant to visit! Shout out to you guys!”

“Everything we had was on point. Birria tacos were well balanced between meat and cheese, shells were grilled to crispy perfection, consomme was tasty and spiced. All without a ton of grease. Beans were creamy and hearty. Chicken and carnitas tacos were also very good. Tamarind agua frescas were very tasty. Definitely recommend.”

Wait time for a table is usually not too bad. The outdoor wait areas are covered which makes it much more bearable in the summer and winter months. Highly recommended!”

The restraunt and the restrooms were both very clean. Our server was training a new server however our service was still excellent.”

The staff was focused on constant cleaning, service, and was moving efficiently and they were all super friendly. They have outlets available for you to utilize the Wi-Fi and get some work done. “I had Mimi’s for the first time last night and everything was fresh and delicious! I had a burrito bowl with Al Pastor and the meat was so tender and flavorful! We also tried a shrimp pupusa; the cabbage and the tomato sauce add a nice touch of acidic brightness to what might be a rather plain but good pupusa. I honestly can’t stop thinking about that burrito bowl and how fresh everything was. 10/10 wonderful food!”

“I just had the ham panini for lunch and it was so unbelievably delicious. Huge portion too. I was going to save half for dinner but it was too yummy and I ended up eating the entire thing in my car haha. It’s on par with Cafe Del Sol’s ham and turkey panini, which has always been a personal favorite of mine, but it’s more affordable and so easy to just drive through and pick up. I want to try everything else on the menu too, but it’s going to be difficult to not order this every single time, it’s that good. What a gem of a place, love you Aleko’s 2 Go!!”

We had a great time with everyone. I do need to add that the bar staff was not friendly, and when ordering bar drinks while prepping for the party we were asked to stay in our room and not ask her. She also did not seem to be friendly or helpful to fellow staff, but maybe that was just me. Overall great food and a great experience, minus one person :)”

The first one, along with my first review, was for my son's 19th birthday, ☯️ design, chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. This cake was for my uncle's 64th! I told Dixie he loves metal detecting, and is a collector of his findings/old coins...she came up with an awesome quote and design. The flavor was simple, half vanilla, half chocolate, with a fluffy sugar icing that was delicious! Again, Dixie made another birthday celebration more memorable and special for our family and friends ?”

“I don't get a chance to go out to eat often, but it was my birthday and my family took me to Cafe del Sol on Salem Ave. I've been there before and it was always nice. But this visit was far above what I've experienced before. Our server, Caleb, was phenomenal. I'm used to friendly enough staff, but Caleb seemed personally motivated to make sure my family felt welcome and that we had a great experience. He succeeded and I hope that the next time I get a chance to dine out, we will be lucky enough to have him as a server. We had the smallest oops with one of our menu items and he was like a man on a mission to make sure everything was taken care of quickly and that everything was perfect. I consider myself quite the pizza snob and this is probably the closest I’m getting to pizza from home here in Hagerstown! Absolutely delicious, great sauce to cheese ratio, crust was good - not a single complaint! Also, the lunch special - two slices of cheese and a drink for $8, you can’t beat it! The staff were friendly and eager to serve us! We will be back, and we can’t wait to try other menu items!”

“Went November 2025. Molly was our server which enhanced our experience. We both had the fries and burgers. I had the sweet potato fries and had caramel to dip. The burgers filled the buns and was very tasty. Spectacular service. Molly was very friendly and attentive. The dinner was even better knowing your server was checking in. She did check in multiple times to see if we needed anything.”

“For my first visit the food was just okay, the service was mehh and truthfully the only thing I enjoyed was the company I came with and the Handshaken Espresso beverage I ordered. The young blonde server had some friends walk in after us and skipped us completely and went right for her friends so it took that much longer to get service and food. I wasn't going to let that keep me from coming back though. Let's fast forward to yesterday my birthday brunch meal. Different server, different meal and different company I came with. Server was sweet, just didn't check to make sure we were happy with anything until we were ready for boxes. (She was saying bye to a friend that was leaving as she was coming to finally check to see how things were) BUT literally every bite I took from the Breakfast Brunch Burrito was heavenly! My guest had the Apple Pie pancakes and he was over the moon about them. So this visit definitely triumph the last, for sure! I will be back!”

Everything we ordered was complete including sauces which on occasion, one or more will get left out. For some reason, my debit card kept declining, and I couldn’t find my back up cash/card because I was mortified and panicked in the moment (and just having a really emotionally rough morning to boot…and it was only 7:30 am). I apologized, and they treated me with such kindness and patience. They were willing to work with me, but I managed to find my card and pay for the drink. I just wanted to really say how kind they were to me, and how it just really set the tone for my day. The drink was everything I needed, and quality is always consistent here. So to the person running the drive thru window this morning, thank you for your kindness. “This is a long review but want to give credit where credit is due!!!
We were traveling and needed a place to eat that a toddler could play. I called and the man that answered was super friendly and welcomed us. Even said he would hold the space for us.
They have upper seating with board games and a couple bean bag chairs. We were the only ones up there. Toddler had a blast.
Food- is a little pricey for a quick lunch but the food was really good. OG Benny, breakfast potatoes and brussel sprouts were great. The she crab soup was salty.
Waitress was awesome. And always smiling no matter how many times she had to come up the stairs. All the staff were super friendly.
Would definitely go back.”

“Rachel is honestly the best example of excellent customer service skills I have ever seen exuded or implemented. She is the hallmark example of how you make someone feel welcome and happy at a restaurant. The food is honestly tasty in relation to the price. I only ever have had the calzone twice, but it comes out good in both experiences. The crinkle fries are okay, they aren't exactly my go to thing, but not terrible. Thanks again! -The Schlockfather

Update: I went back to get a calzone at 6:40 PM. I was informed the pizza oven was down only after I had already seated and waited a couple minutes. My favorite table was also off center and wobbly. Just all around disappointed today.”
