“The beignets are made fresh to order. We ordered two orders ( 3 per order) of the powdered sugar beignets and they were ??. We tried the vanilla, strawberry, and raspberry sauces and they made the beignets even better. The vanilla puts you in the mind of a cinnamon roll frosting but better. Beware the powdered sugar beignets can get MESSY so don’t eat them in your car……

The staff were very friendly.

Only downside I there isn’t much seating.

“Not only is their esthetic so calming and perfect for a slow morning coffee and read of a book, but the coffee is so good! I’ve only just had either black hot and iced coffee, and both are so good. Beans aren’t burnt and the overall coffee flavor is the right amount of bitter and sweet. A cappuccino is next on my list, but you know a coffee place is doing it right if just their black coffee is great!

Bacon egg and cheese sandwich on an everything bagel is a classic! Just YUMM! Every worker I’ve encountered have been so kind! Even on their busy days, you don’t feel like they’re rushing you.“

“We were in the area and saw this coffee spot and thought we’d stop by. Glad we did! We were the first ones in and had the place to ourselves (for a little bit anyway). Delicious food including the best everything bagel with cheese, egg, and bacon I’ve ever had! First time I’ve ever thought about going for seconds. My caramel latte was fantastic too. Service was so friendly and fast. Very clean and they have wifi. They have a menu with suggested prices, but no cash register— they work off donations, so you pay what you can. For those like me who are perpetually cash-challenged, they thankfully accept phone tap payments such as Apple Pay.“

“As most Starbucks' are, they have a decent atmosphere, decent product, but the thing that sets Starbucks apart from the competition, is their people.

I had the pleasure to work with a person by the name of Sophie, it was a quick interaction, but a pleasant one. She not only gave me a great suggestion on PSL and a Blueberry Muffin (Yes I am basic, so sue me! lol). But the part that was very kind was that she went out of her way to bring me the muffin when it was done. It was a simple act, but with the week I have had with my phone needing to be fixed(why I am in the area), car repairs and everything else that comes with life, that simple act was very much needed.

“THIS LOCATION is my FAVORITE Starbucks location! I literally call it MY Starbucks. I live in the vicinity of 3 standalone Starbucks, all with a drive thru BUT the Skyland Town Center location is better than the Clinton and Forrestville locations in every category listed above. The customer service is ALWAYS A1 whether the drive thru is wrapped around the corner or if I'm the only person in line. Bc this is "my" Starbucks, the morning crew has perfected my creatively complicated (but not complicated) drink so well, that on first sip, my morning is made (it's a marriage between an iced peach green tea and a lemonade Mango Dragonfruit Refresher). The few times when my drink was made incorrectly, it was remade and STILL handed to me with a smile, sometimes even a cute sticker. I even took a trip to the Forrestville location to compare my experience. While there, their manager and a barista had a whole conversation in front of me about requesting off hours while I sat there waiting...didn't even great me, AND handed me half of my order with a head nod to leave, lol! The audacity was real! So right there, evidence that the Skyland location is unmatched in customer service. I'll stay with "my" Starbucks! Thank you!“

Been multiple times and have always had a great experience. They also work their butts off keeping the orders cranking out. We have a gluten allergy and dairy allergy in our family so they are always helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating when we order. The space is adorable. “Very nice place to take a break on JBAB.I am not a coffee fan. I have friends and family members that are, very much, coffee fans. That means that they like Starbucks. So I have been to many Starbucks over the years. I wanted to put that in context before I said this. This is a very nice Starbucks! It is located on the north side of the parking lot from the Exchange on Joint Base Alexandria Bolling. It is a corner store and has large windows along the front of the store. The inside of the store has limited seating options. It has a tile floor and a slatted wood counter There is a single large tall table in the center and some seats along 2 walls to the left as you enter. The store was very inviting and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The counter is located straight ahead as you enter. The menu is behind the counter and they had a good selection of food and drinks that you would expect at these stores. You order at one end of the counter and pay and your drinks are delivered at the other end. I got an iced tea and was pleased with the results. Overall it was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to travelers in the area both as a respite from a busy travel day or just a place to get a good relaxing drink. Enjoy!“

“So it is 2:43 PM on November 21st 2024 I ordered a Vente iced caramel macchiato when I asked for a refill I was told I couldn’t get one on iced caramel macchiato when the thing says you get a free refill but the young lady the perky slightly chunky one said I couldn’t, but the thing says on the advertisement you can get a refill on any drink hot or cold and since I got a iced caramel macchiato, she told me I couldn’t. She didn’t want to scan the app. She didn’t wanna do nothing the one time that I wanna do it, I can’t because somebody doesn’t wanna make me one and I Paid for my first drink, but they wouldn’t allow me to get the second one. She lied and I know it. I am a bit disgruntled by that experience“

“We stumbled upon this gem after getting off the National Harbor bus. We were looking for another restaurant it was not in sight and it was so hot outside. We ventured into an alley and saw this place. Nice people and wonderful service. Food was prompt and delicious. I had a bacon egg and cheese on plain bacon, cheese danish and coffee. Hubby had turkey sandwich with coffee.

“2024 update: Still a 10/10. Other Dunkins in the area don't hold a candle to this place. Looking crisp since the remodeling, too! Hat's off to all the folks I always see getting my regular in the drive thru lane, y'all are fantastic.

Yeah, it's still good. I go here fairly regularly for breakfast and coffee before work, and I haven't had an order issue in a long time. Service is still punctual, employees are still efficient and kind. I've only gone inside once since the pandemic (I'm mostly a drive-thru customer), but the place was perfectly clean when I did. Still a solid go-to.

I mean, it's a Dunkin. You get what you're expecting and that's just fine by me. Coffee is solid and the options are fun and varied. My go-to breakfast is the sausage, egg, and cheese croissant with a side of hash browns and whatever coffee experience I'm vibing with that day, and I think I've only ever had my order flubbed maybe once in the several years I've been going here. Drive through is fast, too--I've stopped by when the line was backed up onto the highway and still got through in record time (often under 10 minutes) compared to other drive-thrus in the area with similar backup. (Y'all over there waiting 30min in the chik fil a line for some homophobic chicken?? Can't relate.)“

“I came here because I was craving a Boba Drink. I decided to order the Large Oreo Wow. Due to the Wow Pearl's not being ready, I was still able to receive the black Boba pearls in it and the Brown Sugar Flavor to make it taste so delicious.

The drink to me tasted like an Oreo Milkshare with the crumbles on the bottom. I enjoyed the drink and will be heading back to try a different drink each time. I do think the drinks are fairly priced.

The store has a cozy environment where you can relax and play some of the games if the pieces aren't missing.

Parking: This is a free parking space, there are not many spaces in front but there is plenty of parking on the side as well.

Kid-friendliness: The store is kid friendly. It has plenty of drinks that you can customize to your liking, and if the pieces are available their are a few games for kids to play with.“

My drink was good, but not as good as the same drink that I got at the Town Center. The upside is that it was easy to order in the app, my drink and food were ready quickly, and the employees were nice.“
