“This is one of my favorite coffee shops to go to, period! The service is always first class and you feel like a person not a number. I’m not big into the food becuase im more a coffee guy. That being said, the homemade pastries, breakfast and lunch sandwiches are awesome! Have to try at least one. Now, the coffee is on point! They use very good espresso beans and their baristas are amazing. The place can get packed quickly and that’s a sign of why this place is so good. Lastly, it’s family friendly, which is a big plus.“

“The beignets are made fresh to order. We ordered two orders ( 3 per order) of the powdered sugar beignets and they were ??. We tried the vanilla, strawberry, and raspberry sauces and they made the beignets even better. The vanilla puts you in the mind of a cinnamon roll frosting but better. Beware the powdered sugar beignets can get MESSY so don’t eat them in your car……

The staff were very friendly.

Only downside I there isn’t much seating.

“Not only is their esthetic so calming and perfect for a slow morning coffee and read of a book, but the coffee is so good! I’ve only just had either black hot and iced coffee, and both are so good. Beans aren’t burnt and the overall coffee flavor is the right amount of bitter and sweet. A cappuccino is next on my list, but you know a coffee place is doing it right if just their black coffee is great!

I don't usually eat gelato, so I was pleasantly surprised by the creaminess. The service was excellent; I wasn’t sure what to choose, but the cashier helped me by offering samples and sharing details about each flavor I tried. One of the chocolate flavors I sampled was incredibly rich and chocolatey—it's water-based and vegan-friendly, which was a first for me! “So it is 2:43 PM on November 21st 2024 I ordered a Vente iced caramel macchiato when I asked for a refill I was told I couldn’t get one on iced caramel macchiato when the thing says you get a free refill but the young lady the perky slightly chunky one said I couldn’t, but the thing says on the advertisement you can get a refill on any drink hot or cold and since I got a iced caramel macchiato, she told me I couldn’t. She didn’t want to scan the app. She didn’t wanna do nothing the one time that I wanna do it, I can’t because somebody doesn’t wanna make me one and I Paid for my first drink, but they wouldn’t allow me to get the second one. She lied and I know it. I am a bit disgruntled by that experience“

“We came here as refugees from an outdoor food festival. The lines at the festival were too long and it was too hot. We found Sunday in Saigon (thank you TA!) and had a very pleasant lunch. The two dishes we ordered were very nice, and there was much more on the menu that looked interesting. Old Town is off the beaten path for us generally, but we are plotting a return to this restaurant soon. It was surprisingly busy for a Saturday in late August, but may we weren't the only refugees from the park.“

“We stumbled upon this gem after getting off the National Harbor bus. We were looking for another restaurant it was not in sight and it was so hot outside. We ventured into an alley and saw this place. Nice people and wonderful service. Food was prompt and delicious. I had a bacon egg and cheese on plain bacon, cheese danish and coffee. Hubby had turkey sandwich with coffee.

“Very nice place to take a break on JBAB.I am not a coffee fan. I have friends and family members that are, very much, coffee fans. That means that they like Starbucks. So I have been to many Starbucks over the years. I wanted to put that in context before I said this. This is a very nice Starbucks! It is located on the north side of the parking lot from the Exchange on Joint Base Alexandria Bolling. It is a corner store and has large windows along the front of the store. The inside of the store has limited seating options. It has a tile floor and a slatted wood counter There is a single large tall table in the center and some seats along 2 walls to the left as you enter. The store was very inviting and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The counter is located straight ahead as you enter. The menu is behind the counter and they had a good selection of food and drinks that you would expect at these stores. You order at one end of the counter and pay and your drinks are delivered at the other end. I got an iced tea and was pleased with the results. Overall it was a very pleasant experience that I would recommend to travelers in the area both as a respite from a busy travel day or just a place to get a good relaxing drink. Enjoy!“

“This Starbucks is good, but I think the Starbucks at the Fort Belvoir Town Center is a bit better. The chicken waffle maple sandwich didn't taste great here. My drink was good, but not as good as the same drink that I got at the Town Center. The upside is that it was easy to order in the app, my drink and food were ready quickly, and the employees were nice.“

“5/3/2025: I was eyeing the honeydew melon smoothie. But, since it was before noon, I went with the large iced caramel macchiato. I paid $7.10; coffee’s getting expensive these days. It was too sweet for my liking and could have had a few more ice cubes as it was more warm than iced. After letting it rest, it cooled down. I will say, I rank their espresso better than Starbucks but lower than Peet’s Coffee.

I should’ve went with my gut and tried the honeydew melon smoothie with honey boba :(

“First things first, Clarity is a all time favorite at CSM. I often wonder who benefits the most, staff or students! The variety of the menu is a plus, and they often have fresh pasties, bagels, and more! You may walk in and there are students waiting to send you motivation, or just embark on some of the many stories that you may encounter.My favorite part is seeing Yusan!!!! BY FAR THE ABSOULTE BEST HUMAN BEING YOU WILL EVER MEET! If your day is low, go to the coffee shop she will make it great! Yusan remembers EVERYONE's NAMES AND ORDERS! She has helped me through thick and thin and I am so appreciative to have met her! Clarity I hope that you aware of the true blessing that you have! Someone that embodies your vision while adding a personal touch--YUSAN WORDS COULD NEVER BE ENOUGH.“
