My son has a love for Indian food ever since his trip to India. I have never tried Indian food ever. So this was my very first experience. From the moment we walked in the door our amazing experience began. The atmosphere is beautiful and so is the staff. Our server, April was super helpful and very knowledgeable. She has an amazing spirit and is wonderful with her job! The food... was very fresh, aromatic and DELICIOUS!! My son said the food was the closest to the food in India that he has had here in the states. For my first time... OMG!!! I am HOOKED! The only bad part is that I have to go back to Florida and wait impatiently for my next visit.“

“The best Punjabi food in DC. G.O.A.T Room brings the rich flavors of Punjabi/ Indian food here to DMV. They have every dish (fish, goat meat, naan,butter chicken) that I tried there…the BEST that I ever had. I had tried over 100 of restaurants in DMV and no one can beat this. Punjabi food is known for its rich and buttery flavors and G.O.A.T Room uses only fresh spices and herbs, such as turmeric cloves, ginger, and garlic. The owner, Bobby has created an extraordinary dining experience that brings this special food and culture right to DC. Bobby will visit your table and discuss your meal and personally thank you for coming in. He made a wonderful suggestions of food and drinks.. we were amazed with that selections. Butter chicken has a creamy gravy made of onions, yogurt, seeds, and did not disappoint. The goat meat was the best I’ve ever eaten. Naan and everything was perfect and not too oily at all. The portions are good sized and the presentation is exceptional. The atmosphere is lovely with authentic decor, and smartly set tables but mostly it’s the staff’s hospitality that amazed us. Bobby and his team has accomplished what they have set out to do and that is to bring the best food to the people of DMV. With the rich flavors, fresh, spices, freshest yogurt, and love and care in every dish- they have succeeded. Will be making more trips to DC just for their yummy food! Highly recommended. 10 stars. “If you’re in the Laurel or Baltimore, Maryland area, you have to try the Butter Chicken Pizza at Bella Indian & Italian Cuisine. It may sound like an unusual combination, but it is absolutely incredible. The perfect blend of Indian flavors and Italian pizza makes it one of the best and most unique pizzas I’ve ever had.

We placed our order to go, but we loved the atmosphere the moment we walked in to pick it up. The restaurant was warm, inviting, and had a great vibe. We’ll definitely be dining in the next time we’re in the area. Highly recommended!“

However, the food was flavorful and delicious (aloo palak, lamb tikka kabobs, garlic naan), and the staff were wonderfully kind and caring. The Chicken Tikka Bowl was phenomenal, and the Salmon Moile bowl was very unique. The mix of traditional Indian foods with the idea of eating a quick bite after exploring DC really gels. The mango chutney, mango lassi, raita, rice pudding, and the biryani were also really good. Chef Ajay was very friendly and had a very kind personality. Chef Paul is amazing and he told me he doesn’t believe in catering or delivery because South Indian food is best served hot and fresh and I couldn’t agree more! The Idlis melted in my mouth. The Chicken Tikka Masala, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, Goat Curry, Tandori chicken, Dall Makhani, Samosas and mango Lassi were absolutely delicious. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and provided excellent customer service.

“I had such a great experience at Salt & Pepper Grill. I called to place an order over the phone and the woman I spoke with was so helpful and kind. I ordered Mutter Paneer and Paneer Kulcha, everything was ready in about ten minutes and it was absolutely phenomenal! The same woman that took my order even helped me pick out a dessert (Gulab Jamun) which was so delicious! Definitely recommend 10/10“

“My girlfriend and I finally tried the exciting restaurant Chai Pani. There were three people standing at the front desk. They were friendly and solution based. Getting us an area to order cocktails while we waited for a high top table. Obviously no one likes waiting when they are excited to experience the hype so that attentiveness of the staff helped smooth the wait over. I had the lamb shank. It was fall off the bone tender. A very savory dish and a lot to share between two people. I accompanied the lamb shank with the white rice which was cocked perfectly. It has cumin in it no burnt pieces of rice. The cocktails were excellent the tamarind margarita not sugary but a good amount of sweet. Be careful they go down smooth. The aloo tikki chaat AMAZING well balanced between savory, spice and the sauce gives a little relief with sweet to make that spice level behave. Was not a fan of the naan reminded me of pita bread. Overall great experience will definitely go back.“

“The food was genuinely a 10/10. I ordered doro wat definitely recommend. We ordered our dishes and then came out within 15 minutes very fast. The customer service was good and the vibes and energy was good as well, mind this was on a Tuesday at 10pm. Definitely check this plate out.
