“My Family and I stopped here because we love Greek food and heard this was authentic Greek food. First thing I tried was the calamari appetizer, as we are from Louisiana and love our seafood. “Pho VN One in Laurel is hands down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants around. The pho is incredibly flavorful rich broth, tender meat, and perfectly cooked noodles every single time. Their portions are generous, and everything tastes so fresh.

“Phonatics is great — we live right by it and go there frequently for pho on cold days when we want to warm our soul, and banh mi in the summer when we want the tender chicken with pickled onion on a crunchy baguette. The atmosphere is great, the staff is accommodating, and the food is such a quality that it never fluctuates. Please tell me why I was charged nearly $8 for a single slice of pizza, not even jumbo slice. 😫 I also got a side of meatballs (3 for $15), but they were pretty good. I've been here for their lasagna in the past which was excellent, but getting overcharged for a single slice of okay pizza left a bad taste in my mouth.“

It reminds me of a latte you would have on vacation outside of the U.S. And the customer service was also top-tier. The cashier was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Prices are reasonable and service was quick. The only downside was that it was uncomfortably cold inside. Space heaters in the winter and fans in the summer might make dining there more pleasant. Conveniently located across the street from the Gallery Place Metro.“

Atmosphere: nice but a bit dated. Many of the tables are uneven and no longer sit together flush. Ambiance was nice, Thai decor all around and wooden vibe.

Final impression: very good for a quick lunch in downtown DC and head back to the office. Might be added to a regular rotation in DC lunch adventures.“
