“Had dinner before the Oh He Dead concert on Saturday December 17, 2022. We arrived a little before our seating and immediately were greeted and taken to our spots. Ian was outstanding! He was attentive, descriptive and helped create a good experience. Dan, our bartender, was magnificent. He created delectable cocktails and we also chatted along the way (we had bar seats which I highly recommend). This was very reasonably priced, we left very filled and happy. I want to give the highest possible compliments to Ian and Dan. The entire experience was perfect, largely because of the great food, but they took the experience well beyond a 1 star evening!“

“5 stars isn't enough!! From the moment we walked in until the end of our night we were satisfied. The decorations, food, and service was amazing! They even offered me a quiet place to pray :). Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. It felt like we were in nyc enjoy :)“

“Our son lives in the area and we have been here 4-5 since January ( every time we visit) The owners are wonderful and the staff very attentive The fish taco appetizer is wonderful ( can be enough for an entree if not wanted a big meal) I’ve had many of the entrees and never a bad meal . The chocolate dessert is my go to“

“Lovely spot in the Dupont Circle Hotel. I don't usually choose hotel restaurants but this was a perfect spot for a quiet lunch with a friend. Our server, Miguel, was fantastic - very helpful, thoughtful, and just the right amount of time spent at our table. The GM (don't have his name) was also very nice - funny and attentive from start to finish. The food was very good, I had a salad with salmon on it, and my friend had the crispy salmon lunch. Highly recommend if you need a classy, quiet spot in downtown DC.“

“We were celebrating a birthday, and asked for a quiet table, and we were seated in the Wine Room, and it was perfect. We shared a calamari appetizer, and had halibut and crab cakes for the entrees. We shared key lime pie for dessert, and the restaurant provided a special birthday dessert. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious.“

“We had an amazing dinning experience, especial thank you to Mohamed who was exceptionally dedicated to ensuring that our expectations were all met. Actually, everything was beyond our expectation. Everyone that we came across was very pleasant and caring. They highly value of their customers as demonstrated by their superior customer service from start to finish--a great team! Food was great as well and we even were provided small treats to take home! Anyone in the hospitality wishing to improve their customer satisfaction should learn from this great place--no one would want to go to a restaurant to eventually leave disappointed!“

“Went back on June 1st for dinner with friends. Food is still excellent. Restaurant was humming. French onion Soup was really good. Lighter than the original French classic. Subtly spiced with Vietnamese spices. Seriously good Oxtail broth. Rigatoni was great too. Glad I gave it another chance.“

“This place is a true local gem. Food is of very high quality, and everything is consistently cooked to perfection. Their consistency is actually really impressive - I’ve never been disappointed by a single thing, and I’ve eaten A LOT of their food. But everything is so good, so I haven’t really made my way outside of the same few items from their menu. The difference is that the staff actually care about their customers, and take pride in their food. It’s not so common these days, and is a pleasant surprise. It’s the reason I will always eat there.“

“Buzzy place, quite busy for Sunday brunch. The cronut was fresh and delicious. The gravlax mezze plate was unusual which is why I ordered it. The food was good. But the music blasting spoiled the experience for me - and I was solo so wasn't trying to chat, which would have been impossible to hear anything!“

“First time dining here and loved it. Brought my wife for her birthday and they personalized the menu and brought her a decadent dessert on the house. Calamari breading is immaculate and Wagyu tartare was done very well with some micro greens. Our waiter claimed the duck was the best he’s had and truthfully it was in the highest echelon. The serving of lobster with ravilolini was generous. Such yummy dessert too (had the pineapple mojito). Was a little skeptical given it’s in Falls Church in an office building but pleasantly pleased ?“

“Eubin took excellent care of my husband and I on our visit to barmini. It was our first visit (of many more to come) and every single cocktail was mind blowing. I had originally booked a flight, only to have to change it to a la carte in order to make dinner reservations. I wish we had cancelled dinner and stayed at barmini! I cannot find enough positive words to describe this experience. Worth every single cent and more. A must visit! We will be back! (And sit at the bar. The show of every cocktail being prepared truly adds to the experience!) the cake for my birthday was a spectacular gesture as well!“

“Great placement highly recommend.Come here for lunch occasionally, always impressed by the service, atmosphere, and food.ServiceThe hostess was excellent, but what makes it special was as we were waiting for her to return (after she had just seated people ahead of us), the phone at her desk started ringing. Not missing a beat, she answered and politely put them on hold, and then seated us! Yes!!! Finally someone who understands you don’t answer a call and start talking when you already have customers standing in front of you of you! Our server Kelsey was also outstanding, introducing herself and taking care of us quickly and efficiently, very polite…kudos to her and the business!FoodAlways very flavorful and a wide variety of choices. The two of us ordered one lunch special of meatball and baby kale flatbread with asparagus soup, and a Maui Tuna Crunch salad. The flatbread was amazing, the sliced meatballs very flavorful, and the asparagus soup excellent. They do offer a gluten sensitive flatbread if desired. The Maui salad was also excellent, with perfectly seared tuna, but had a very large salad portion. Only small down was my wife asked for the dressing on the side, and it came in two separate very tiny portions, maybe a tablespoon each at best…for a huge salad. Had to ask for more, and our server again brought two more tiny portions, which was then enough. Not sure how it would have come if we had not asked for the dressing on the side, one seemed to be for the tuna, the other for the actual salad itself. Either way, very good, but a very large salad, a bit too much for lunch.Again, very much enjoy coming here. Will I come back…absolutely!Would I recommend …most definitely!“

“This cute, friendly American restaurant will not disappoint. Suitable for couples, families, and small groups, everyone can enjoy the comfortable ambience. Service was attentive and accommodating throughout the meal. Oh, and what a meal it was! I started with the fennel and arugula salad, which was refreshing and scrumptious. I had the braised beef for my main. It was moist, tender, and had a mouth watering balsamic demi-glace. The side of brussel sprouts were simply amazing. Overall, a great dining experience“

“We had 10:30 brunch reservation. The meal consists of several amazing courses. Delicious and beautiful presentations. Vegan and non-vegan members of my party enjoyed it very much. I liked how the servers paused between courses so that we didn't feel rushed. They gave us a menu in case we wanted to refer to what was being served. The servers were professional: attentive without hovering.“

“My wife and I went here for a first date anniversary recently, and it was fantastic! We've been to several Michelin star restaurants around the world, and this was one of the best. The food was just amazing course after another amazing course. The level of innovation and flavor was just off the charts. The service was also impeccable, with super friendly chefs and staff. The interactive experience is something truly memorable. Special shout-out to Sean, who was super helpful to me when I was trying to figure out which cocktails to order!“

“Amazing service and a fun and friendly crowd and staff. Every cocktail was perfect, the charred octopus was incredible, and it was a good time all aroundVegetarian options: For a place that does not advertise themselves as vegetarian friendly, they are very vegetarian friendly! They will remove or replace ingredients to suit your needs whenever possible. My cousin and I went there and without any prompting they asked if they could help us out by making any of the dishes vegetarian or vegan.Dietary restrictions: They will go out of their way to make anything allergy free for you if possible.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu, however I don't think I would have brought my kids in there until they were at least eight or 10 years old, I would say that if you're child is extremely well behaved in restaurants and public places it is suitable, otherwise you may want to find somewhere else, it is not the kind of place where kids can run around and play tag while Mom and Dad finish their mealWheelchair accessibility: There's an elevator, and a wheelchair accessible washroom , however the bar is fairly packed and maybe a little bit difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. One Patron in a wheelchair came in when I was there, they were very diligent about helping him make it to his table, however he did have to be escorted by one of the staff to have some people at tables get up and move their chairs so he could get to his table which was at the back.“

“Had dinner on a Saturday night - party of 4. A plus service and food. The service was very attentive and knowledgeable. Very helpful in wine selections within certain price points (and the recommendations were fantastic). But the FOOD!!! there was a special lobster appetizer that was phenomenal. For the regular menu the little gem salad was large and refreshing. I had the root vegetable soup and it was also great. For mains we had the tuna, pasta and steak. There wasn't a bad choice in the bunch. Highly recommend this for an elegant night out. All in we were at 150 per person (and that was with plenty of wine). The price was a bargain for the experience. GO!!!“

“My wife and I recently had an amazing experience at Jônt. The whole thing, from the counter seating and loud music, to the phenomenal staff I 10/10 recommend. The food was unique and so fun to try. Every bite may not be a hit for everyone, but like i said it’s fun to try.“

“Classy downtown restaurant for a nice fine dining experience. The seafood stew was good but was sobered by the small portion size (one scallop one piece of fish a couple of shrimp). Fortunately, the meat dishes saved the show. The Prime Rib was delicious and cooked to perfection. Also, the burger was top notch with quality meat and packed with flavor. There is a seasonal menu, so I might have to go back for other items, but I will not be going the seafood route here again.“

“Great food and service, but disappointed that they have been out of AC for two months. They need to tell their customers at the door before they are seated. Not right especially if customers have respiratory issues. Some in the restaurant that day were experiencing discomfort Stay away from the Rockville Location until they fix the AC“

“Had the opportunity to experience this dining venue for a Sunday brunch, recommended by family member. The brunch menu at first was a little confusing as to what our quantity of options we were entitled to, once that was clarified enjoyed a delightful meal of fried chicken & waffles -brussel sprouts-deviled eggs -berry mixed topping pancakes -crab cakes and a mimosa. The only thing that wasn’t too pleasant was the waiter assigned to us -he didn’t seem very customer friendly-I don’t even think he introduced himself. However his slack was taken up by a wonderful young lady by the name of Allie -very friendly -took the time to explain the menu -when an ordering mistake had been made -corrected it and provided a alternative, she made the experience so much better -excellent customer service“

“Appetizer, fried calamari, was good but the size of calamari was very very small... My dish, Ahi Tuna, was extremely salty! Tuna was seared perfectly & tasted very good though. Also, we had to send back my mom's Bloody Mary drink, bc it didn't taste nor look anything like how Bloody Mary should be. We all tasted it(4 of us), & decided that it wasn't drinkable. The server was nice & replaced it w Mimosa my mom requested. Oh, & I just noticed by looking at the receipt; they charged me for bread that I requested to be able to eat my salty dish! It's only $4, but I specifically told the server that it was too salty & needed some bread to balance out the saltiness! WOW!!! I gave $50 tip on a $164.89 bill bc, I am a good tipper, but charging me for $4 is unacceptable!!! Not sure if I want to go back to this place!“

We were an energetic group but nothing this experienced group couldn't handle. Our drinks, wine, seafood, vegetables, meats and giant chocolate cake were delicious. We could have easily stayed for another hour solving many of the earths issues but, alas, it was closing time.We left happy, well-fed, and content.Thank you for a delightful experience.“

“We’re new to the area and picked a brunch spot near by, and we’re so grateful we picked Maple Ave! This restaurant is owned and solely operated by a couple, and it’s shown with the passion they put in their dishes and service. The menu is seasonal depending on local farm ingredients, and decision with a Lithuanian twist on dishes. The brunch comes as a $26 prix-fixe option and has an appetizer and main course dish- great amount of food and quality for that price! We’ll definitely be back“
