“I stopped in with friends before a event Sunday evening. The staff was warm and welcoming. I had the lentil sambusas and a peanut-infused coffee at the staff’s recommendation. The food was fast and delicious- the sambusas were warm and spicy, and the peanut coffee was delicious! In a kind gesture, the chef sent over a sampling of sushi to our table. Fresh and refreshing, the sushi was a nice complement to my sambusas and hot beverage. I’m not on this side of town often, but now I have a reason to come back.“

“Our visit to Zeppelin was absolutely breathtaking! From the moment we walked through the doors, we were greeted with the most exceptional hospitality by Ari and the rest of the staff. The atmosphere of the restaurant is truly one-of-a-kind, paying tribute to the Golden Age of the Great Passenger Airships. But the real standout of our experience was the food. It was absolutely divine. We began our meal with the Edamame and Miso Soup, both of which were the perfect starters and set the stage for the rest of the meal. The Seaweed Salad and Cucumber Sunomono were also refreshing and bursting with flavor. For our main course, we decided to indulge in a variety of dishes from the KushiYaki (Japanese Charcoal Grill) menu. “We got two Salmon Lover sets and a Unagi roll to go and everything was really good. The salmon sashimi was fresh and the rolls were generously filled. The unagi was spot on too.

“Overall five stars for the service. We made a mistake with the original reservation and they were so kind in accommodating us. Generally, everyone was so professional and kind.

We did the tasting menu along with the sake pairing. Overall, the food was solid but it seemed a little pricey for the quality we got. A few dishes did blow us away: the fish and chips with the vinegar sauce, the shabu shabu, the gizzard chad, and the fish cake. The sake pairing generally worked, but the one that came with the nigiri seemed more like a palette cleanser than a pairing.

Also, shoutout to Alan our server who was kind, thoughtful, and even ran after us when we left something. We really appreciated his knowledge about the food and his service. All the service made our night exceptional and memorable - hence the five stars overall.“

“The maiden steps of Kusshi were a bit wobbly but things are really starting to turn around with the help of newly hired creative director Clint. The ramen and karaage are noticeably much better than what they were before. Deep savory ramen broth from hours of simmering. Juicy chicken karaage from a long overnight rest in marinade. The sushi rice significantly better than from when Kusshi first started.

Service is fast and polite. The atmosphere is lively and casual.“

To be totally blunt, after walking in, I wasn't expecting much. It's a small self serve restaurant that doesn't resemble most sushi establishments I've been to.

I ordered the sushi deluxe and subbed out the California roll for salmon rolls, I also got the tempura Philly, and the double fantasy. I also received a free Miso soup on top of all of that.

The second I took my first bite into that piece of Eel nigri, I knew this was going to be an excellent dinner. Even at high end sushi restaurants I've had at least a piece of sushi or two taste a little old or a sushi roll that's overdone with the toppings. This is the first sushi I've ever had where every single piece of fish was excellent. The sushi was incredibly fresh and every bite was delicious. I'm usually not a fan of shrimp nigiri and even that was enjoyable tonight. I don't know what the secret is, but this was the most impressive sushi experience I've ever had.

“No frills hole in a wall place. Great and welcoming staff. Great service. First time here and I got the spring garden roll and my friend and I split the green bamboo roll. One of the only places that I have been too that offers more than 1 type of veggie roll; plenty of veggie maki rolls. Rolls are large and they are generous with the filling and toppings. Got a bottled green tea. They do not serve alcohol. They accept credit card. I will absolutely be returning and telling everyone I know about this place. Next to Great shopping and there is plenty of parking!

One suggestion is to have a bottle of Sriracha on hand just to add a bit of spice to the veggie rolls.“
