“A huge shout out and sincere thanks to Rea, Roman, and the hardworking staff at Potomac Pizza in Chevy Chase. They went out of their way to open early to bake about 30 pizzas for takeout. Rea and Roman were organized and friendly about the big order, got everything right, prompt about getting back to me and answering questions, and just great about everything. And the pizza was DELICIOUS -- chewy crust, flavorful toppings, great sauce and cheese. Thanks to everyone at the Chevy Chase Potomac Pizza -- you and the pizza you make are terrific!“

“We had the pasta bolognese & mushroom ravioli. Both were very well made. The kids had cheese pizza, which was also delicious. The disappointment was the bread. It was warm, and served with really good olive oil. However, it lacked the taste of good Italian bread. Prices were moderate & reasonable. I would definitely go back again, having passed by it many times & finally decided to give it a try. Having parking in the back was a bonus. There were no kids menus even though menu items could serve kids, such as pizza & chicken tenders.“

“I have to say papa johns is one of my favorite pizza places and this one knows me by name as much as I order. I use to order for the school I was teaching for but I order og me and my family. They are professional and on time. The customer service is always excellent. Great pizza and great service

“First time to this area and figured we would try Andy’s. The three of us each had the 2 slices and a drink combo. The pizza was pretty good and had a lot of flavor. Enjoyed the ambiance of the establishment and the Western Market in general. However, they have a gnat problem as we continually had to wave them away from our table and food. Other than that was a good experience.“

“We are tourist & was searching for a place too eat since our first choice for dinner totally ignored us after we sat there 30 minutes we left. This pizza joint is absolutely delicious. The thin crust was delicious especially on the cheese pizza. The only negative thing I have too say is y’all charging too much for a house salad. I mean if you gonna charge $14 @ least give me something other than basic lettuce.“

“Their Ethiopian pizza is incredible! Chewy, crispy crust, loaded with flavorful toppings. It comes with hot honey that is a perfect compliment to the pizza and a green sauce which is really good too. You can get half and half two different styles of pizza if you can't decide.

Service is great too. Order at the counter, the staff are very helpful and so nice. The music can be a little loud inside but they have a great outdoor seating area when the weather is nice.“

“On a block often called “Little Ethiopia,” Minya’s Pizza sells pizza inspired by Ethiopian flavors making it a unique spot. I walked in for a quick bite before meeting a friend nearby on a Thursday around 7pm. They only had slices of their meat lovers pizza, pepperoni, and cheese slices. I order the meat and pepperoni ones. The staff warned it up. It was a good slice of pizza, but I want to return for their Ethiopian-inspired pizza.“

Been thinking about it for weeks. The other dishes and juice pairings went SO well together, and the finale eggplant and fennel skewer was outstanding. Also been thinking about that for a while… as someone who normally isn’t huge on aubergines. Thank you all for a delightful evening. We’ll be back.“

I wasn’t expecting much and wasn’t sure about the all you can eat menu, but it was incredible. I had three rounds of orders with server recommendations. Shout out to Marcus for the phenomenal service and recommendations. Everything was delicious. Every. Single. Thing. The outdoor seating was great too and let me enjoy the nice day. “A very inviting corner restaurant, great for people watching and cocktails. The drinks were nice and the atmosphere was lux. We went on a Saturday and it just felt like they needed a manager around. Felt like they were really understaffed and not ready for the crowds. There were some people who had worked there longer and were directing others, and the food did come out of the kitchen timely. But there wasn't a sense of table service really, you just catch them when you can, know the candle won't get lit even after you asked and teach the server how to swipe the card. I wish they had someone tending to things, but maybe when it's slower it will be better. The pizza was good, and lots of pepperoni. I wished it wasn't quite as soggy in the middle but it tasted good. And the burrata had no flavor, no nice olive oil or pepper, very bland, but it was a hearty portion. Can't complain about the drinks. I can sense when there's no service concept so I hope they get it together.“

“I’d heard good things and so I had to check it out; I’m glad I did. Probably the one downside is parking, either street or garage, but you will pay. Staff are very friendly, and the atmosphere is very comfortable. We ordered a potato, and a smothered onion (with pepperoni). While both were good, the potato was truly a star and one I would probably order on every visit.“

The concept of being able to pour your own drinks from a wide selection of taps is fantastic, and it lets you try small amounts of different beers without committing to a full pint. The space is very modern and feels really welcoming, making it a great place to meet up with friends for an evening. The staff were super attentive and helpful in explaining how the system works, and the overall vibe was just energetic and enjoyable. “My boyfriend and I were visiting from Texas. Found Alfreda’s online and came for dinner. It was absolutely amazing and our favorite meal of our trip. I had the blueberry St. Germain spritz and the passion fruit spritz— both great. And we shared the Caesar salad and the Alfreda pizza add basil. It was definitely up there, if not was, our favorite pizza we’ve ever had. Highly recommend the Alfreda sauce on the side, like a dilly ranch with a bit of sweetness. I highly recommend and so glad we found it!“
