“A large group of us enjoyed our dinner here on a midweek early evening. Everyone enjoyed their food selection and the noise level was low enough that all at the table could hear each other speak. The dishes were tasty without being overly hot spicy. Sufficient serving staff made getting drinks and checks relatively quick, which was extraordinary when dining as part of a large group.“

“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! “I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. “I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. I had a third, wonderful experience and i highly recommend it!“

“We recently tried Sala Thai at Park Kennedy and had a great experience. The service was very friendly and welcoming, and the food was excellent. The kapow had a perfect spice level and was full of flavor. We also really enjoyed the crab rangoons and wontons, both were very good. The grilled beef was especially delicious: incredibly tender, flavorful, and paired with a great sauce. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Eatsy Thai is excellent. I always get the drunken noodles with shrimp and am never left disappointed.

All the other dishes I’ve tried have also been very good. It’s also convenient as they stay open much later than other restaurants in the Eden Center.

“This is a solid place and a gem in Rockville & MoCo as they are the first restaurant to serve Laotian food. Their fried fish tofu is my go to app: it is delicately made and on point. Had their Lao khao soi for the first time and the freshness and quality of spare ribs and minced pork are top notch. Service can be slow as there is typically only one server working at lunch and I feel that they should have one more server as service can be slow at times. A huge bonus that they are on the AA dining program.“

Stopped by after an event, and we were warmly welcomed by one of the staff. We did takeout and the portions were generous!

We got chicken cashew, pad Thai and pad see yew with their fresh Thai tea.

Service was quick, and the surrounding ambiance is pleasant. Very clean with fresh flowers on the tables.

But really, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the food is delicious!

We tried this place together with my husband on Saturday for dinner. We liked the ambiance and the fact they actually put some thought and effort into the decor.
We were seated and served water immediately, our waiter was very kind.
We ordered steamed dumplings and fish cake for starters - both came in still very warm and soft, seemed very fresh and they were absolutely delicious!
Then my husband took spicy duck, and I took mango curry with tofu. Both full of flavor, fresh and quite spicy.
We enjoyed that the staff gave us some space, instead of constantly checking in as it sometimes happens…
We will definitely be back, can’t wait to try sth new!“

“Surprisingly excellent Thai spot in Chevy Chase, with a limited but happily opinionated menu with some classic items as well as street food fare. We enjoyed the Beef massaman ( Slow-cooked beef in Massaman curry with potatoes, onions, and peanuts); it was a warm, nourishing comfort curry. Alongside the Baa Mee ( egg noodle, five spice roasted chicken, bok-choy, fried garlic,
peanuts, spring onion, and cilantro), it was excellent combination of flavorful noodles and a rich creamy curry. Service was excellent and the space was modern and vibrant. Acoustics were poor however, as the amplified din made it very difficult to carry on a conversation. Really the only note for the restaurant.“
