“I was in the area doing some shopping and wanted to take a break for lunch. I searched for Thai food nearby, and this restaurant popped up, so I decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did because the food was delicious.
I ordered the Ka Praw with Chicken and it was really good. I also got a Thai tea, which was delicious and paired perfectly with my meal. The service was great as well. It was an extremely hot day, and they were very attentive about keeping my water glass filled, which I really appreciated.
Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back. I love Thai food, and this spot did not disappoint.“

“I had a taste for thai food after working an event in Falls Church yesterday and looked on Google and found Eatsy Thai. With all 5 star reviews I had to check it out as I've been wanting some drunken noodles for awhile now. It's located in a small inside eating shopping center within a bigger outside shopping center. I got the drunken noodles, with a medium spice and added chicken. It was good (not the best I've had but good) so much so that I planned on only eating half but found it hard to want to save some because I just wanted to eat it all. Would I go again, yes.“

“I’m going to post the same review I gave on Yelp - this is a 5 Star place! After a day in DC, my family decided to try Soul Thai on our way home. What a terrific Experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was some of the best Thai we have ever had. The Pad Thai was amazing. The Hang Over Noodles (Drunken Noodles) was exceptional. And the red curry was by far the best I’ve had in the area. The ambiance was quite pleasant as well. Initially we were sat in an area that was a little noisy for our taste, but they graciously moved us to a much quieter section. The owner, Nancy came over after our meal and was very appreciative of our comments on the meal. She shared with us that she personally picks the freshest ingredients she can find to ensure the quality of the food. I would highly recommend Soul Thai to everyone. We will be coming back soon. THANK YOU, Nancy!!!!“

“WOW! I live in DC and have tried basically every Thai place in DC but rarely make it to VA. Thai is some of my favorite food. My main complaint with most DC places is that the food is NOT spicy enough. Not the case here! I got the drunken noodles tonight and hands down they were the spiciest best I've had in the area! Love this place! New favorite Thai spot in the DMV! I'll be back and VERY SOON! THANK YOU FOR MAKING THAI FOOD SPICY AS IT SHOULD BE!“

“I have eaten here thrice before. with my colleagues. I ordered the basil fried rice with vegetable and chicken. It was bursting with fresh flavors and wonderfully intense spiciness. Everything is so clean, and the staff is friendly and efficient! We were the last ones to leave and never felt rushed or like we were being a nuisance to the staff. I had a third, wonderful experience and i highly recommend it!“

“Great experience. The food and friendly atmosphere reminded us of our time in Thailand. We tried several dishes, all of which came out right. Service was attentive, and the the restaurant was tidy, with an overall neighborhood feel. Passing through the area the next day, we decided to stop in again, and left equally satisfied. Seemed to be vouched for by local patrons. We observed out-of-state visitors enjoying the hospitality; commenting positively and engaging with staff between the comings and goings by a steady flow of pick order patrons. The location and ample parking made coming and going a breeze each time. We'll be back.“

“This is a solid place and a gem in Rockville & MoCo as they are the first restaurant to serve Laotian food. Their fried fish tofu is my go to app: it is delicately made and on point. Had their Lao khao soi for the first time and the freshness and quality of spare ribs and minced pork are top notch. Service can be slow as there is typically only one server working at lunch and I feel that they should have one more server as service can be slow at times. A huge bonus that they are on the AA dining program.“

Stopped by after an event, and we were warmly welcomed by one of the staff. We did takeout and the portions were generous!
We got chicken cashew, pad Thai and pad see yew with their fresh Thai tea.
Service was quick, and the surrounding ambiance is pleasant. Very clean with fresh flowers on the tables.
But really, the staff were so friendly and kind, and the food is delicious!

“Lots of hype about this place. I made a reservation and they emailed, texted, and called the day of to confirm. The best dish was the slow cooked ribs. In the photo, they are hidden under the greens. The drink with mango is also delish. The pandan in the drink is not overwhelming. I recommend it. The rice with pork also a nice version of “sticky” rice. Everything is a blur.“

We tried this place together with my husband on Saturday for dinner. We liked the ambiance and the fact they actually put some thought and effort into the decor.
We were seated and served water immediately, our waiter was very kind.
We ordered steamed dumplings and fish cake for starters - both came in still very warm and soft, seemed very fresh and they were absolutely delicious!
Then my husband took spicy duck, and I took mango curry with tofu. Both full of flavor, fresh and quite spicy.
We enjoyed that the staff gave us some space, instead of constantly checking in as it sometimes happens…
We will definitely be back, can’t wait to try sth new!“

“We were so excited to hear Dok Khao opened a Chevy Chase location! We used to drive to the Columbia restaurant, so having one closer to home is amazing.
The ambiance is beautiful, the drinks were excellent, and the menu is so creative. The tilapia dish is absolutely to die for and one of the best Thai meals we've had in a long time. Everything was flavorful, and the service was stellar.
We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu!“
