Service: good. It wasn't busy so there's one FOH person. He handled front desk, serving and to go orders just fine. He checked on me throughout my time there. Menu: they do NOT have a lunch menu. “Make no mistake - this is the Padaek location to go to if you have a choice, not the Arlington one. The Arlington one is significantly closer to my place but I always end up making the trek out to Falls Church because the OG location is simply better. Recommendations: the Naem Khao rice salad is crispy, crunchy, savory and delicious - I recommend getting it with the tofu, even if you're a meat eater like I am. I order the Ping with pork shoulder literally every time, because it's a fantastically heaped plate of seared meat with a nice mildly spicy dipping sauce. It also comes with a bag of tasty sticky rice that makes a low-carb eater like me abandon my low-carbness, at least for one meal. Padaek Falls Church will always be on my list of places to take out of towners.“

“Just tried this new Thai restaurant and omg it was DELISH! We broke from our usual pattern of Thai dishes (pad thai and pad see ew) and tried the 100 Islands Seafood and full Branzino. Absolutely yummy and savory. We also had the meatballs and corn fritters as apps and the fried ice cream. We are stuffed and everything was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Definitely recommend this place! They have a big menu that offers the usual fare plus dishes familiar to the Thai town of Donsak (where the owner is from). “I found this place one night when I was walking up the street. They were closed for the evening and I made a mental note to return. Sure enough, the next evening I was there. The food is delicious. I had the Pad See Ew. The hot, broad rice noodles, with Chinese broccoli, and chicken were just what I needed on a cold, rainy night. There was a slight spice to it. I wanted to steer clear of too spicy. The menu offers Thai and Sushi. I believe there are some Asian-fusion dishes? There were many things I wanted to try. The Cousins were friendly and helpful. I look forward to returning and trying more dishes.“

“Isshin has one of the BEST service in Adams Morgan. May is the woman who always helps me. I think she’s the manager. She keeps that place running swiftly and smoothly. During the pandemic, Isshin made every effort to keep their place sanitized and customers safe by using PPE and placing hand sanitizers all around. The staff works super fast to get meals ready for you. They always go above and beyond to offer excellent service. I had to order spicy shrimp rice and I was going to arrive close to closing time, May kept Isshin open until I arrived (5 mins late) to pick up my food. I only live 3 blocks away but once I was not able to pick up my food from Isshin. May immediately said, “if you live close, I’ll deliver for you.” And she did just that and as usual with a very pleasant demeanor and genuine smile. May and her team at Isshin make this restaurant one of the best in Adams Morgan. Thank you May and Isshin!!!“

“Just came here for lunch with a coworker and the place was completely empty. I think part of it was because we did come a little early (11:40am-ish), but left at 12:30pm and still no other people ate inside. There were people picking up orders or door-dash deliveries, etc. In any case, we sat down and the service was very fast and courteous. I ordered the Pad See Ewe and it arrived promptly (and super hot too!). The portions were decent and our water was filled once. It was super quiet, so not sure how the vibe is on a Friday or Saturday night. When we paid, the waitress (who I think may have been the owner?) arrived with a ipad where we simply tapped our credit cards and put in a tip. NGL, I like to tip in cash, so I preemptively took out my cash to show the waitress I was not going to forget tipping her, all the while I tapped "no tip" - even though I did tip her! Haha. Overall, a great lunch spot and I will definitely come back here. My only thing I would comment is that there are not a lot of parking spots in front of the restaurant.“

“First time we tried to come here it was a Friday evening and there was a 30+ min wait. However, there was plenty of seating around 530 on a Tuesday. Nice atmosphere and we found everything to be very worth the price.I am usually not a big fan of tofu, but their fried tofu in the Pad Thai was very tasty. The Khao Soi wasn't my favorite in the area, but it was still very good. Plus, I have found most places give 1 piece of chicken and this place gave double, at a comparable or lower price than the others, so I felt it was well worth it. The Papaya Salad was refreshing and the glaze on the Spicy Catfish was very delicious. Can recommend all those dishes.Service was more than adequate and the food came out quickly. The only minor negative was I found their rice to be a bit soggy/sticky. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that or they just used too much water this time. Overall, I would recommend coming here. We particularly like sitting in the booths.We generally have a good service there, but the last time we went with a party of 5. The waitress added an automatic 20% gratuity and then was incredibly slow and curt. We literally sat for 20 minutes before she even greeted us. Then we sat for another 15 minutes before she took our drink order. After waiting another 15 minutes we had to hunt her down to take our food order and then later for the check.
