I ordered a three-flavor cup and chose Black and White Cookie Batter, Dark Chocolate Fudge, and Dulce de Leche Chip. Each flavor was delightful! The restaurant was quite busy, which was a good sign considering its prime location near shopping stores and not far from Chinatown. There was plenty of seating available for customers to sit and savor their treats or coffee. Despite the crowd, the cashiers did an excellent job attending to everyone and even offered samples.“

“I love the hot cocoa from Dolci Gelati at the National Zoo for Zoo Lights. I bought 1 for me and 1 for a friend & went back again for a second night for more on the last night of Zoo Lights. Whipped cream, chocolate & caramel syrup is added to the top. It’s the best treat on a cold winter night or day at the zoo. Thank you!! I’ll keep coming back & bring friends.“

There was outdoor seating enjoyed by many, but we chose to sit indoors and people-watch in the charming, bustling area on a Sunday afternoon. Great experience as out-of-towners!“

“I love Tipsy Scoop, REAL BAD. Ice Cream Cocktail Mixology — 5 stars, I’ll take 100 more classes! Lumiere Ice Cream Cocktail Class was a vibe! We got to meet CEO of Lumiere, Terrence Wheeler, and sampled the vodka and infused ice cream as well. The class is from 11-1 pm so it starts and ends before the shop opens that way we aren’t interrupted during our private session. We were able to try all the flavors that are offered. They have ice cream and sorbet. You make two cocktails in class. The owner Danielle is super sweet! It’s a great class to take with friends. The ice cream is delicious as well! Next class is: ⏳11 - 1pm 💰$65 per person 📍Tipsy Scoop 675 I St NW Washington, D.C. 20001“

“I’m originally from Texas and I’ve eaten Mexican paletas (popsicles) my whole life. These are among the best I’ve ever had. You can see and taste the fresh fruit—so delicious and refreshing! The mangonada is also great if you’re feeling adventurous (it’s a spicy mango Mexican treat).“

“It’s great - not amazing but a solid option. Always has a line to order and has very limited seating. It’s was also kind of pricey but it is Old Town and a must place for tourists to visit. I did appreciate the hand written sign on how to order - size, flavors and then cup or cone!“

“Rita’s is my favorite ice cream shop. I worked at DQ in HS and then loved this local ice cream shop back in my hometown. But when I moved to Waldorf a few years ago, I learned of Rita’s and not only is the ice cream, the flavors and treats always amazing, so are the staff; specifically the manager there. I’ve asked his name before and can’t recall it but he does a great job of training the young staff and he’s ALWAYS pleasant, smiling, professional, and just an overall a wonderful person, I can just feel it. I always get the chocolate covered Oreos and the dark chocolate sea salt caramel popcorn and they never arrive melted or anything like that and always taste amazing!“

The flavor selection is varied and the flavor is outstanding. It's also right next to a great NYC style Pizza spot. Don't sleep on Altani Gelato & Coffee!!!!“
