Give this place a try-trust me (portions may seem small, but it was very filling- we ordered the bowl of fries, which came with a delicious sauce, CROQUETTES, fish burger, beef burger, and gnocchi pomodoro. Like it) and the mushroom soup. Sorry I can’t provide pics cause I wanted to enjoy the full experience. Both plates excelled in presentation and flavors. They blew my mind; specially the mushroom soup. It was amazing! I also like that the Persian bowl was a feature by an Iranian chef recently arrived to the country. The ambience and service were outstanding as well. And I loved that I could, for once, speak Spanish without feeling intimidated.“

“Cozy restaurant with big personality. Our server was happy to be there and answer any questions asked. We got the steamed dumplings and crab Rangoon. By far the best crab Rangoon we’ve enjoyed to date. Will be back to try the drunken noodles!“

“This was a very satisfying burger. The Lucky Bun burger had Gouda, arugula, and charred red onions. Very hearty. Complex flavors. And i love the malt vinegar mayonnaise that comes with the fries.

“I hosted my wedding reception at Riggs in October and was absolutely floored by the level of service, kindness, and professionalism of everyone. The valet employees were exceptional - especially Coach. They went above and beyond for us and all of our guests to make such a smooth transition anytime we came in or exited the hotel. I also had the pleasure of working with Karen & Brittany on the event side and cannot say enough good things! Karen started our journey into wedding planning and Brittany absolutely crushed handling the rest and it was so appreciated! Brittany was so down to earth and she put my Type A mind at ease that she had it all under control at all times and it was life saving! Not only was the staff amazing but the hotel is stunning, cafe riggs has the best cocktails and overall we couldn't have asked for anything more. We still get comments about how insane our wedding dinner and desserts/cake were. Truly couldn't recommend Riggs more for your wedding or any special occasion! “Came for high tea today with family - I notified the staff several weeks in advance that I'm vegan and one of my siblings is gluten free, and that we both have specific and severe allergies.
I was very anxious about dining here because I had to be hospitalized after having afternoon tea at another (and completely unrelated) place earlier this year.
They assured me on the phone, and again when we were seated, that they were aware of our allergies and dietary restrictions and everything would be taken care of. But when our food came out, the items we were allergic to were on our plates! Our waiter, Deepak, was extremely apologetic and quickly took care of it.
At the end of our meal, he told us he had talked to the manager and had ALL of our meals comped because of the mixup - something we did not at all expect and tried to protest! It was incredibly generous and kind, and even this aside, he was an attentive and excellent waiter.
I would come back again for the quality of service alone (and the vegan scones melt in your mouth!).“

We arrived a little early for our 6:15 reservation and she continued to point out the pre-6 pm happy hour options, pointing out that we had 7 minutes left to order them, but was not pressuring or rushing us. There was a very tall slender gentleman who checked in on us, we had a very brief interaction with- bravo to him for converting warmth with an exceptional smile.

My only complaint was that my quiche Ella (cheddar cheese, leaks, caramelized onions), was almost too sweet. Not sure if that was just the onions, though. Delicious croissants.“
