Their brewed coffee is very good (though I wish they'd let customers add milk themselves) and the freshly prepared foods are also excellent. (I can recommend the parfait and the quinoa-butternut squash salad.) The cafe is counter-service with an airy, light-filled sitting area; very pleasant atmosphere and solid wifi. One cashier is a little brusque but the other staff are extra friendly.“

The barista, Elisabeth I believe, kept a conversation with me while making my drink, asking for my foam preferences and temperature, because I told her I had a long day ahead of me. She is one of the few baristas that keep up the customer care aspect of Starbucks that has been unfortunately dwindling.“

The location, nestled in the middle of Potomac Village and sitting in a large courtyard, provides ample space. The service is what you'd expect from Starbucks, however, the consistency of drinks simply isn't there. Perhaps because not only is there no Starbucks around for miles (I know - that's shocking), but there isn't any other coffee/meeting place around either. So, this place is busy - we all have nowhere else to go.
It has a captive market so perhaps that's why the drinks are up and Down. Please note - the drinks aren't always bad, but the % of times l've had a bad drink here is much higher than any other Starbucks I've been too.“

“Clearly the best ice cream in downtown Bethesda. Family-run, Argentinian, they have a deep sense of generosity and local love. There is a lot of work and research behind the scene. Most of their ingredients are sourced in a 100-mile radius. Pistachio flavour is to die for, same for mango. Menu is in constant evolution. Push the door. I dare you not to go back!“

“I got the royal palm, nitro cold brew and a cookie. The sandwich was pretty good, and there was a reasonable amount of salmon on it. The sides/drinks were good. My bagel honestly wasn't great which was surprising coming from a place that sells a lot of bagels. While I would probably go back and/or try some of the other sandwiches, I'm not sure what would bring me here over some of the other bagel places around Bethesda.
