“First time visiting Brookside Inn and we were blown away! The food was outstanding. The menu is so descriptive that it makes you want to try everything you’d honestly have to come back multiple times just to experience it all. We also loved that they support Hemp’s Meat, a local meat locker. The staff was absolutely phenomenal. Our waitress, Kaylor, was incredible she memorized all of our orders and provided excellent service throughout the entire meal. Everything was cooked to perfection. My husband had the jalapeño burger, I had the beef brisket sandwich, and our daughter ordered the buffalo wings. The wings alone were worth the money very meaty and cooked perfectly. We’re already looking forward to going back and truly believe this will become our new go-to dining spot!“

“Long post ahead, warning! I walked in around 9 pm and the hostess didn't bat an eye at my dining alone, and didn't say anything about it, which I appreciate. I was seated right away with no problems and immediately got a chance to look over the menu. I will admit, it took a little bit longer than expected for my waiter to come over, but as a lone diner I sort of expected that. I looked like I was waiting for someone, I'm sure. The look and feel of the place was very upscale, but they didn't have any problems with me walking in wearing a nerdy t-shirt. I was seated in this cute little booth for 2 with curtains on the side so, if I wanted a more private dinner, I could have it. It was a cute touch! The restaurant also offered patio dining and since it's by the creek, that would have been a downright charming experience were it not the usual Maryland summer. Despite having a bar, the restaurant was respectably quiet and low-key, making it an easy dining experience. I wasn't in the mood for something wild, and this place really hit the nail on the head. My first waiter Kevin, however, was the picture of polite helpfulness. He answered all of my questions, made some wonderful suggestions, and was incredibly pleasant to talk to. I was delighted to find out that this place takes part in DC restaurant week, so I was able to take part in that promotion. Under a suggestion from Kevin, I ordered a glass of their moscato (I wanted something light and sweet), and the wine was so good I brought home a whole bottle. Not really on them, but it does reflect their excellent selection. Dinner itself was delicious. The red pepper soup was refreshing and flavorful, without being too filling. The steak I ordered was cooked to perfection and was flavored in the perfect way to make the actual flavor of the meat shine. The potatoes were both light and fluffy, but also had the little chunks of potato that I prefer in my mashed. The best part was desert. About halfway through my appetizer, Kevin introduced my other waiter, Maddy, who took over after he went home. She was as much of a delight as he was, and made possibly the best recommendation of the night. Desert was this blackberry tart that I did not have room for but could not put down. Gooey and crumbly all at once, with a warm center that was almost caramel-y even though it was fruit based. Topped with a light cream to balance it all out, it was absolutely delicious. I will be thinking of that tart all day tomorrow. The prices on the menu were a little high, but I wouldn't go so far to say they were unreasonable. If I had wanted a cheaper option, I could have gone to any chain restaurant ever. In the grand scheme of downtown Frederick, with it's many small businesses and one of a kind dining experiences, I think this was reasonable. For reference, a lot of meals were between $20 and $30, but a good steak is almost always $30+. Despite the price, I had an exceptional dining experience, and would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for upscale dining, without the upscale requirements.“

“if you're visiting the historic town of Brunswick, then the Potomac Street Grill should be on your list. They have a robust menu that will suit anyone from vegetarians to carnivores. They have a great bar and friendly staff. If I'm ever visiting again, I will surely return.“

“I just celebrated my 64th birthday at Red Lobster in Frederick and absolutely loved it. The food was great, and the waiter was exceptional. I spent my day trying to decide where I wanted to go to celebrate and decided on Red Lobster just before leaving out to go to Texas Roadhouse. On the way home we all decided Red Lobster was a great pick. I recommend that you try it also.“

I had the Chicken and Corn Chowder and it was incredible - creamy, hearty, flavorful, and exactly the kind of meal that makes you slow down and enjoy every bite. The entrees were expertly prepared with flavorful sauces and seasonings; however, the table received little attention during the meal. “Our 45th anniversary dinner was made memorable by some very good food, topped by fantastic service. Place was a bit noisy - hard to hold a conversation and to hear waitress, but tolerable. Ahi tuna was superb, as were the ribs. The big surprise was how good the wedge salad was - lots of blue cheese and the candied bacon was delicious. Wife said it was the best bite of bacon she ever had. The manager checked in on us, as did the head chef! This will become a go-to spot for us.“

“I have been a ZiPani customer for years. Their food and service are always exceptional. Today, I went to grab a bagel from their shop after an appointment but instead found the staff in the parking lot handing out free bagels. Apparently, they had a plumbing issue that was causing them to have to close the store for a week. Their first concern was not for themselves, but for their customers. They didn't want their customers to be disappointed that they were closed so there were giving away what little product they could offer to anyone who came by. While I've been a customer for years, this only increased my sense of loyalty. I look forward to supporting them and picking up even more delicious bagels as soon as they are back up and running.“

Props for having a Brunch menu that includes enough Lunch options to satisfy. The Cuban sandwich was the standout with the very interesting bread choice and unusual pulled pork. Service was slow to order a beer and desert was almost cancelled because of time and the glazing did not arrive with one of the deserts and getting a side cup never arrived. The waitress was new and very helpful and will get better with experience. The only disappointment was their Military Discount? They only allow 10% for "active" Military making one feel that veterans just don't qualify? And the 10% you receive is only on the members main meal. So for a $60.61 meal the discount was $1.49? I give the discount I receive back to the wait staff and left a $15.00 tip.“

“We went to the Longhorn steakhouse in frederick maryland this past Sunday. We got some pretty basic meals but everything was pretty good. Most of our group got chicken tenders and they were good with plenty of dipping sauce. However, the service was the highlight of our visit. I don't remember our servers name but he was fantastic. He was patient with our kiddos and treated them kindly. He made sure we had refills on our drinks and was just a really great server.“

“This 24-hour diner attached to the Travelodge in Brunswick,Maryland is a throwback to the diners of the 1950s. We were looking for a decent meal after being on the road all day, and came upon this diner. The two women, Olivia and Kara who were working there could not have made the experience better. They were friendly, accommodated a special request for my husband, who was in the mood for an open-faced, hot turkey sandwich with gravy. They made the gravy as a special accommodation. The restaurant was clean, well-maintained, and the food was delicious. I would not hesitate to grab a meal there if you’re in the area.“
