“I frequent the Subway at Joint Base Andrews (350 Fetchet Avenue) about two to three times a week, and I can honestly say the customer service here is outstanding. Evelyn and Carla, in particular, consistently make this location special.

They are always polite, patient, and genuinely welcoming. What really sets them apart for me is that they’ve helped me while I’m learning Spanish. They never make it awkward or rushed — instead, they’re encouraging, kind, and willing to engage, which has meant more to me than they probably realize.

It’s rare to find employees who combine professionalism with warmth and cultural openness the way they do. Because of Evelyn and Carla, this Subway feels less like a quick stop and more like a positive part of my routine.

“New favorite sandwich! The Philly Special comes loaded with shaved ribeye, cherry pepper mayo, applewood smoked bacon, Cooper Sharp cheese, lettuce, tomato, and super thin red onion. Basically, it’s what would happen if a Philly cheesesteak and a BLT had a baby.

The flavors work well together. The ribeye is tender, the bacon adds a little smokiness, and that cherry pepper mayo gives just the right amount of heat without being too spicy. It’s messy in the best way, the kind of sandwich you need both hands (and a few napkins) for.

“This place has never disappointed me over 3-4 visits at this specific location over 3 years. I’ve tried the one at I think Wheaton or something and Baltimore near Johns Hopkins and this place is always at least a 4/5 and the other locations really paled in comparison.

Comforting to see that a popular train station has reliable fast food. Fries are my favorite kind, crispy on the outside but super fluffy on the inside. Gourmet fries are also delish. Cheesesteaks (as someone who’s never been to Philly yet) seem pretty good at the price point too.“

Looked like they were making online orders and only servicing a handful of people so it should have been a quick in and out but it wasn’t. But not because they were slow, because they were busy with the online orders and then within minutes the rush came in. I observed this team led by James execute orders online and in person, with professionalism. James had a customer who demanded a refunded from the day before that he wasn’t aware of and assisted her until she was satisfied. Offered her options and provided excellent customer service. Aside from the normal hustle and bustle during the lunch rush which I assume can be a challenge daily, James made sure to take care of each individual customer ensuring the team was meeting expectations. The team was friendly and polite even when I witnessed a customer being rude and disrespectful. When folks are making your food, it’s not a bad idea to be kind. “I was pleasantly surprised by this subway. The shopping center it sits in doesn't look nice, but when you step inside this subway, it is very clean, neat, and smells delicious. “Traveler that attended Super MAGFest 2026. Was looking for a local place to try and Potbelly caught my eye as a sub sounded a good way to fill me up after my journey here. Cozy interior, despite the crowded interior thanks to the event. Despite that, got an Original Pizza Melt Sub and Strawberry Shake. The sub was very flavorful, the bread also being of note for being nicely toasted and good. The ingredients in the sub were flavorful and great. Decided I wanted to sample another dish, I got a cup of Chicken Pot Pie. Absolutely divine soup. Very warm flavor that is comforting and savory. It saddens me a bit knowing I won't be able to get to here once I return home. But it gets my approval. 😄“

The young lady employee(she was older than I was but showing respect and gratitude because a man never ask a ladies age) called me to the register and gave me a new soup. I only went back into the establishment to swap soup cups but because of my patience I was rewarded with a new soup and was also warned to be careful this time. Moral of the story is patience brings greater rewards. FYI The Service was excellent which put a smile on my face. You never know who'll brighten your day.“

“I had McDonald's a while ago it was pretty good. So I thought I would try Subway it was better than I expected. But it didn't go well for Taco Bell and there was so much stress in the Panda Express. But there's not a lot of spots for lunch. But it was really good.
