The service was excellent; I wasn’t sure what to choose, but the cashier helped me by offering samples and sharing details about each flavor I tried. One of the chocolate flavors I sampled was incredibly rich and chocolatey—it's water-based and vegan-friendly, which was a first for me! The restaurant was nice, clean, and had indoor seating that could accommodate several people, but I decided to take my treat to go.“

Interesting array of flavors, amazing texture and mouthfeel, and I love that this place is not afraid to get adventurous with flavors. Black Sesame--yum! At the same time, their most simple, traditional flavors are among my favorites--Strawberry and Cookies and Cream are absolutely delightful. I appreciate that this place continues to keep their prices very reasonable, especially given how crazy expensive food has gotten in 2024. “I came in on Saturday night after the kids were begging me all day for a sweet treat. We were helped by a young lady that was so inviting and informative! I typically hate ice cream, but after the different flavors were described to us so beautifully I couldn’t help but try out a couple. I was not disappointed! He took the time to show me the nutritional for each flavor that was safe for my food allergies. On top of that he would go the extra mile and get a new pint with a clean spoon to make sure there was no cross contamination. This stood out the most because he truly cared about the safety of my health. For 26 years I’ve had these allergies and always had to be on my toes on new places to eat. And for the first time having Ben and Jerry’s, I am extremely grateful to Ian and his team for being so insightful and safe with my dietary restrictions.

The ice cream is high quality and icrediably tasty! Also the customer service is really good . Definietly my favorite ice cream place!! “I’ve worked in restaurants my whole life, making and serving food (including burgers and fries). I just stopped by Joia last night, for the first time. I ordered a double patty. I have to say that it might have been the best burger I’ve ever tried. Nothing too fancy, just the perfect size and balance of ingredients. I didn’t intend to get any fries, but after ordering my burger, I asked the employee who was serving me if I could try one. It was so good, that I instantly asked to order some, only to find out that they had gone ahead and generously thrown in a batch on the house for me. I literally have never written a review in my life (google, yelp, otherwise) but I was so into it I thought I should share. Super friendly, low key atmosphere, fast, and delicious. “Date of Visit: Thursday Aug 24th, 2023 Good portions for their ice cream. There were many flavours available. A lot of them had chocolate base/ content. I am not a fan of chocolate and vice versa. I ended up getting pralines and Cream which is my default flavour in these situations. The service was very friendly and helpful. The shop is located right across from the waterfront park – which makes it a great place to enjoy your ice cream. The prices are a bit steep but the volume is high, so I guess it is worth it.“

We got to meet CEO of Lumiere, Terrence Wheeler, and sampled the vodka and infused ice cream as well. The class is from 11-1 pm so it starts and ends before the shop opens that way we aren’t interrupted during our private session. We were able to try all the flavors that are offered. They have ice cream and sorbet. You make two cocktails in class. The owner Danielle is super sweet! It’s a great class to take with friends. The ice cream is delicious as well!
