“I enter and ask to use the bathroom. The worker Altaf allowed me to use the bathroom before purchasing anything. I thought that was pretty nice of him. The vibe was not as warm because of the lack of contentment from the employee. Maybe having a bad day or something. Place was clean and food was good. They have sugar cookies and XXX vitamin water as the fountain drink. I have not seen vitamin water as a fountain drink. That was a treat.“

“A concept created during the pandemic, I’m so glad it’s back inside Shilling Canning Company. Available inside and to go, there are six sandwiches on the menu and a weekend breakfast burrito. Every part of the sandwich is created in house except for raising the animals for the meat.Trying every sandwich at their launch party, every single one was delicious, especially with the housemade buns. However, my favorite was the “Chivito” with beef, ham, bacon, egg, and more. The “Ampburger” tastes like a gourmet Big Mac and it’s everything.Their wedge fries are crispy and nice. The homemade chocolate chip cookies are chocolate heavy and always warm. So good!They also sell Mexican Coca-Cola and Sprite in glass bottles.Service is always excellent and street or a paid parking lot are nearby.“

“My favorite steak & cheese in the area. I get it with mushrooms, fried onions, and hots. The mushrooms are fresh, the meat is well seasoned, the bun is soft but holds together nicely, the cheese is gooey. I also like the fries. They are standard, but they are always fresh and do not taste too greasy. The prices are great as well.“

I had a brief conversation with owner and i was told they used very high level oil to fry the food. They definitely care about the quality of the food more than anything. This is the first time I had one and after a few bites, it was dry, then my next bite, I bit into some sauce that made the Steak and cheese sandwich come alive! That sauce should have been on the entire sandwich! Had it been, I would have given 5 stars for food. I gave a 2 for atmosphere because I had to go to the restroom and they had that section of the restaurant closed off to the public.

A little rush came in (maybe 6 or 7 hungry customers came in as I was about to get the replace cup to pr my soup in. I humbled myself and waited patiently as the other patrons placed they're order. The young lady employee(she was older than I was but showing respect and gratitude because a man never ask a ladies age) called me to the register and gave me a new soup. I only went back into the establishment to swap soup cups but because of my patience I was rewarded with a new soup and was also warned to be careful this time. Moral of the story is patience brings greater rewards. FYI The Service was excellent which put a smile on my face. You never know who'll brighten your day.“

The line moves fast at lunch time, orders are taken while in line, be sure to know the menu board before getting in line. Sandwich was flavorful, average size serving, a larger eater might want to order sides or a larger sandwich.“
