Biggest caveat, which is one of their strengths, is that the restaurant makes everything fresh… The spice levels have been variable at the five or six different ones I’ve been to! I only get mild, it sometimes the mild is too spicy. Then I’ll ask for “no heat” and it will be completely unseasoned…. If I could just find some consistency in their mild, I’d be good to go. LOL So far my favorite location has been crystal city around the pentagon shops. They always add ranch, and the cook is impeccable!“

“Really enjoyed my lunch today. Recently tried another chicken place and was disappointed. At Roaming Roosters when I walked in and I was greeted right away. The gentleman repeated a few things I asked about as it was my first time here. I ordered a Honey Butter (Medium Heat)Chicken Sandwich, Fries, Coleslaw and a fountain drink. I went to the restroom while they prepared the food. Everything was clean and the restrooms smelled nice. 6 or 7 mins later my food was ready. When he handed me my tray I asked about sauces. He said this comes with Rooster Sauce, Honey Mustard and Ketchup. All I said was “Wow!” he laughed at me. I ate my food while watching F1 qualifying on my phone. Very chill lunch.

The sandwich was amazing. Chicken was crunchy and just left my lips burning slightly. The honey butter added a little sweetness. Fries were 10/10 super crunchy and I was dipping the whole time. I don’t eat fries often but these were ? Coleslaw was good but just needed a pinch of salt. Next time instead of on the side I will ask for it on my sandwich.

When I finished I disposed of my trash and thanked the gentlemen for a yummy lunch. He smiled and said have a great day.

Overall love this place and it will become my go to chicken sandwich place! ☺️

Parking: Parking in the shopping center is tight but just to thwart side there is a tall building and plenty of parking there. I just walked over and o Roaming Rooster ? from there.

“After a long day being on the go as Wife, Mother, and Professional, Poyoteca was an stress-free way to end the day. Everyone’s pallet was satisfied with options for Peruvian rotisserie chicken, veggies and starches.

I’m confused with the macaroni and cheese or mashed potatoes. There’s rice and beans, fries and yuca too! We like Brussels sprouts though the children prefer string beans.

I’m doing my best to promote my health. The cilantro lime dressing was flavorful and helped me enjoy a full serving of salad.

I appreciate that there are no codes on the bathrooms. They were tidy and fresh with a place to put my belongings while I handled my business.

Seating is separate from ordering. There’s a TV should you choose to dine in (I took a load of and charged my phone).

Finally, the employees were very personable and efficient which is the hallmark of any restaurant. Two thumbs up for Fallsgrove Poyoteca.

Vegetarian options: There were three green options and six starch options, perfect for a comfort meal.“

“This location is super fun! Let me talk about the food, I have had Peruvian chicken for example Sardis or chicken Rico. Now the chicken at those locations has a weird after taste when eating. This location chicken here taste DELICIOUS no after taste and so flavorful. We tried the chicken salad sandwich and the Thai chicken sandwich, don’t forget to order that cilantro lime sauce so fresh. The food hits the spot you gotta try it to believe it. After 4 pm this location turns into a really cool bar has pool tables, beer pong and live music performance. We met Simon and Brendan thank you so much they were so awesome to talk to explaining the flavors of the food and also how everything there is very vintage. Enjoyed a mezcal drink was delicious and strong just how I like my tequila! Hours for this spot Wednesday Thursday Sunday open till 12AM and Friday-Saturday open till 2AM. Will be a returning customer for sure. Enjoy my pics!

“I am stunned in how delicious this chicken was. I actually wish I would have ordered more. The chicken is so flavorful that you don’t need the sauces provided. I also got a chicken pupusa. It was bland but at the same time, I couldn’t stop eating it. It was stuffed with lots of chicken, which was pretty impressive. Service was great, food was better than expected. A must try if you’re around here.“

“I work close to YOUNG'S!! IT'S literally the best fried chicken breast I've ever had it's so good! I live in Baltimore so I've eaten from several chicken spots! But this chicken is on another level of goodness! If they were open on weekends I would drive an hour to get it that's how good it is!

Some young lady named Cindy S. came from the back and gracefully glided across the room and asked how could she help me. Cindy gave me a run through of the menu and within a minute I knew what I wanted and it wasn't on the menu as I looked deep into her eyes. Than 10 seconds after, I knew exactly what I wanted for lunch, so I ordered. ? I must say the food was delicious and Cindy was honestly a southern hospitality. I plan to come back soon.“
