We got there on a Saturday morning and ran into a pretty decent line, but the staff were super friendly and it moved along quickly. “My boyfriend and I came here for Valentine’s Day to celebrate our anniversary and ordered the $89 menu. Overall, we had a really nice experience. The wagyu and oysters were amazing, and the drinks were so good. The desserts were honestly some of the best I’ve had at any KBBQ spot, which really stood out to me.

We had about two or three different servers helping us, but the Asian woman who mainly took care of our table was especially great. She was super kind, attentive, and made sure we got everything we needed. She really helped make the night feel special.

The only downside was that the food took a while to come out between courses. At one point it seemed like one of our dishes might have been taken to the wrong table or forgotten. It did not seem like it was her fault though as it was a different server who took the order.“

“Is this the best BBQ or will it stack up to high quality BBQ from places like make their identity their BBQ? No, but it is still tasty and a great option for the Alexandria/DelRay region. However, I think the star of their menu is their crazy taco offerings, some very unique flavors that keep us coming back. Service can be inconsistent at times but overall it is a worthwhile dining experience that is best in the warmer months with outside seating.“

My first time here I brought the chicken wing lunch special and never made it out the parking lot with it. “This review is only for the SMOKED WINGS. They are the best in the DMV for more than 20 years. It’s all I get. With the spicy bbq sauce (and I don’t even like barbecue sauce—seriously). Do yourself a favor and give them a try if you’re ever in the vicinity. FYI: It is a carry-out (grab and go).🛍️

We were new to the restaurant and the server took time to answer all our questions with great detail about the menu. Food came out fresh and piping hot. I had the build my own bowl option which was delicious and the portion fed me for two meals. Also sampled the empanadas which were also delicious. I was only there a short time, but met some people who invited me to a nightclub. I'm glad I chose this place and highly recommend the Swachos. The only drawback was that it was hard to access, due to the extreme traffic of people in the area.“

“It was my first visit to this restaurant. I wanted wings and they have several options. I chose the Boneless Gangnam Style since I prefer spicy food. My wait was about fifteen minutes for carryout.
