“I’ve been to hundreds of delis over the past 40 years and this one did it right- crispy fries but not burned, just right toasted wheat bread, real chicken breast and fresh green avocado on the sandwich. Portion not too big or small, friendly service, clean bright interior. I knew it was authentic when I saw the Mexican Cholula hot sauce bottle on the table. They just got it all right for me on a quiet weds afternoon, well done!“

“Having previously eaten at this restaurant and being in a room that was so noisy our party of five was unable to talk without shouting I called The Lodge and specifically asked to be seated in the room that was quieter. Despite there being open tables in that room when we arrived our party of four was seated in the corner of a room next to the bar and next to a party of relatively loud people. After dinner we spoke to the seating hostesses who demurred and said that the entire restaurant was noisy on a Friday night, and that they were sorry. Since we have had this experience twice I will have to carefully consider returning to the Lodge, despite its good food and service. It's a shame.“

“Amazing deli. Chipotle chicken and bacon wrap was one of my favorite sandwiches to this day. Great people who run the place! The two men at the counter treated me very well each time. By the third time, they knew my order and simply asked “same as yesterday?”. Will miss eating at this place, but hope to be back soon. During my last day, the men even insisted I took a cookie for free. Great men, great food, great deli. Would recommend to a friend.“

“This was our very first time at First Watch and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our server, Mathias, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. He was attentive without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations that we loved. Mathias truly elevated our visit and set the bar high for future visits. We’ll definitely be back thanks to the excellent service he provided!“

“Yes, there are times when one has to wait to see who exactly has been assigned to work the kiosk....but I've otherwise enjoyed every beverage they've made for me. I live in the area, so often when I stop in to get groceries, I'll stop to get a beverage as well.“

“A hidden gem in downtown Rockville, near the metro station and town center. Their brewed coffee is very good (though I wish they'd let customers add milk themselves) and the freshly prepared foods are also excellent. (I can recommend the parfait and the quinoa-butternut squash salad.) The cafe is counter-service with an airy, light-filled sitting area; very pleasant atmosphere and solid wifi. One cashier is a little brusque but the other staff are extra friendly.“

This restaurant truly excels in providing outstanding service, affordable prices, and exceptional quality, making it a top-notch culinary destination. I saw some complaints about having to pay .50 cents more and other bizarre comments. We need to understand about cost fluctuation of ingredients and sourcing and skilled staff and labor costs.
