She was familiar with the two customers in front of me. It definitely had a neighborhood friendly vibe. The shop was busy. Most of the tables on the first floor were taken up when I was there. Be sure to take a stroll up the stairs. At the top of the stairs was an adorable little spot for two people to sit and chat. The second floor has a great little area to sit and ready or study. The top floor was full of light. I ordered my usual cortado. It was a solid drink. The cortado wasn't bad but it also wasn't anything spectacular to write home about.“

My friend is not a coffee drinker and the barista who sadly I forgot to get their name, explained everything to my friend and got them a nice coffee! “Took my kids there for the first time this week; we each tried a different drink. One Brown sugar milk tea, one strawberry milk tea with coconut jelly, and the triple layer Vietnamese coffee. Holy cow! That coffee didn’t need anything added. Had the right sweetness, creaminess and the coffee was excellent. If you need a pick me up, that will not disappoint! The strawberry milk tea was much better than Chai Times with a richer taste. Price was better too! We can’t wait to come back and try some other drinks.“

“I really like their coffee. My daughter loves the indgo dream. I admit I was also shocked that I liked that it was less sweet. I normally get Starbucks and sometimes it is just like syrup in a cup.
The atmosphere is nice too. Peaceful, bright, with plenty of space to pull out your laptop and get some work done. They also have a cute little patio outside. Parking can be tricky depending on time of day but I've always been able to get a spot.“

“This coffee shop is beautiful and the quality is amazing. I got a shot of espresso and it was easily the best of gotten in this area Fresh and delicious and the prices are beyond fair. Erica the Barista was sweet and kind. Her service was impeccable. My only thing with this shop (not a complaint) is that I can not order for pickup. There are often mid day moments where I wish I could order prior to my lunch break and go grab a pick me up. If I could just call or order online I wouldn’t fret about not being back on time to see my first patient after lunch. I hope that changes soon because I’d be there much more often.“

“Karen is an amazing baker. She saved the day after we were let down for our wedding cake. She delivered a beautiful 3 tiered cake. The flavours were a delicious lemon with lemon curd, vanilla and raspberry and chocolate biscuit cake. All our guests were raving about it. Couldn't recommend her enough 😊💕“

“When we lived in Maryland I bought all of our coffee from High Grounds. I have now moved to Georgia and wouldn't consider changing my coffee source. The main reason that one would go to a coffee roaster for the 2nd, 3rd or 99th time would be for the quality of the coffee, and any one who would rate High Grounds less than 5 star“

“Wonderful local coffee shop. I have been coming here for a couple months now and the coffee is always flavorful and smooth and the owner and regulars are extremely friendly. Be sure to try the Spanish tortilla de patatas when it is freshly made in the morning.

This place is a gem, especially being surrounded by overpriced and mid places to eat. Prices are very reasonable compared to other coffee shops. Every time I’ve been there service has been great. Some of the drinks do take more time to make than maybe your favorite drink at Dunkin Donuts but that’s because they are crafted with love and care and ARE NOT EVEN COMPARABLE! If you are in a rush, make coffee at home in your keurig like a competent human being. They are clear about the way they do things and it admirable. The taste and quality of the product is unmatched by any other local coffee shop in that area and any chain for that matter. Biscotti’s are fire. Their specialty drinks are exceptional and very unique. Drinks come out at perfect drinking temperature. If you don’t feel comfortable driving with your beverage lidless in the car, just make a little extra time to sit and enjoy it before you leave. It’ll be worth it. I recommend the pistachio cappuccino, golden milk with a shot of espresso or two and the cafe con negroli.“

Cold cool whip on top of room temperature "pancakes". These were so dry, it tasted like half eaten bread you left out on the counter over night. You know how it's kinda hardened. Then the syrup...I can't do Log Cabin & stuff. Plz invest in pure maple syrup. I'll pay more too. That generic diabetes stuff is too artificially sweet....plus it was cold too. I definitely sent that cute looking but awfully executed mess back. I got spinach with egg & cheese on a croissant that was very good. Their breakfast potatoes were dynamite!

“We are in town for the National ProStart Invitational. We brought our students in and the visit was amazing. The products were beautiful and wonderfully made. Each of our students left with something. As someone who works in the industry and has a focus in baking and pastries it is top notch!“

“If you want a great cup of coffee, this is it. The owner roasts Ethiopian beans in house and serves the coffee from a French press. The latest cation is in the heart of Locust Point. There’s outdoor seating that is welcoming to anyone who wants to slow down and enjoy the richness of their cup of coffee.“

The croissant sandwich and hashbrowns were delicious and made right the first time, which is rare for other Dunkin locations I've visited. The line was very long because the location diwn the street is being renovated. Getting the food took forever. The customer service was great, very kind, and professional.“
