“A good place to have a good time, relax with a bucket of beer and then get ready to dance, the girls who serve you are very pretty and friendly and the place is quite spacious and very well remodeled. I really liked the decoration and I felt very good in this place. congratulations to the owner. But I suggest that you also put a sweeper, not just girls?, there is no free parking but the rate is not very expensive $1.29 for every two hours.“

“We stopped in for lunch after my Daughter's Gymnastics Competition this morning! The staff were Awesome! She was still in her gear and medals from the Competition and everyone was saying congratulations to her! “Closest thing to authentic Texas style bbq in the DMV area. I had the opportunity to try most of the menu. Here’s what I ate.

•Smoked Spicy Sausage- Good. spice hits afterwards.
•Smoked sausage- nice hickory flavored.
•Prime Brisket- moist! Simple seasoning. Nice smoke ring and very tender.
•Spare Ribs- the seasoning makes it flavorful. Tender.
•Dino Ribs- Massive! This can be a meal by itself.
•Smoked Turkey- Tender and juicy. Bland in flavor.
•Mac & Cheese- I had low expectations but they beyond exceed them. Nice, creamy, cheesy and seasoned well.
•Brisket Beans- This has a kick to it due to the jalapeños. Too soupy for my liking.
•Roasted Veggies (red onion, Brussels sprouts, tomatoes) - Good.
•Potato Salad (mustard based)- Heavy mustard taste but it’s advertised as mustard based. Lack spices.
•Cornbread- good
•Smoked Cheese Ball- Interesting concept. Not bad.
•Banana Pudding- Good.

4.4 out 5 stars. Amazing customer service for a casual dining experience. Staff checks in frequently with diners to ensure they’re enjoying the meal.

Vegetarian options: Roasted veggies maybe the only thing close to vegetarian to vegan.

Kid-friendliness: Yes. Infants to adolescents are welcome here.

Wheelchair accessibility: Limited. Easy for outdoor dining but indoor dining is tight for wheelchair access and the picnic tables and hightop tables make it hard for individuals to dine at.“

“When I tell you that’s I’ve been looking for some good authentic bbq, I have! And, I’ve been disappointed up until now. I decided to give DCity Smokehouse a try. I got the smoked wings, ribs, and collards. The meats has a nice REAL smoked flavor, seasoned to perfection, and the collards were on point. I look forward to trying more food items from the menu. “Really good and different! Had the short-rib pastrami and it was fantastic!! Great taste, perfect texture, and the mustard sauce was the perfect compliment. Their house pickled veggies added a really nice touch. The deviled eggs are not to be missed! Smoky, but not overbearingly so. The wife had the pastrami spiced portobello and was very impressed. Guys in the truck were super nice and very patient. They were out front of Baby Cat brewery in Kensington the day we went by. Will be keeping track of where they're going to be - will definitely return!!“

“I went there today for a nice lunch date and I requested to get all the food gluten free. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about what was gluten free on the menu and made sure to bring out the salads and explain which one was which. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend the pargiyot skewer but was not personally a fan of the lam kebab flavor. When the waiter came over and asked how everything was, I told him everything was great. He saw I had not eaten the lamb and asked me about it. Im not a complainer so I said it just wasn’t my taste. Well, when we brought us the check, he only charged us for the pargiyot and comped the lamb! I am blown away by my experience at Al Ha’esh. Excellent customer service and food! 👍“

“The BBQ here is exceptional! You might think going to a BBQ spot would be all heavy meats but not the case here. The dish I had was their special grilled salmon burger with blueberry BBQ sauce, I cannot even begin to explain how delicious it was! As well as the smoked then fried wings. Probably the best wings in the city! They were also exceptionally hospitable in providing vegan options for a friend, and accommodating an 8 person walk-in party with little to no wait time. Just note the specials sell out quickly so I recommend going on the earlier side.

Vegetarian options: They were able to accommodate a friend who only eats vegan food, I wouldn't say they have a lot of options, but a couple of good choices despite being known for smoked meats.“

“This little counter service bbq joint is phenomenal. It is tiny. With just enough room to order, but the food is some of the best bbq ever. Its smoked and grilled, the wings are not just the drumstick or flat, one wing is both peices. The chicken is so tender, the ribs fall apart, the sauce is happiness on a plate. The Owner is very hospitable, and can typically be found greeting and meeting with diners, and making them feel welcomed If you are a fan of hot sauces, check out the variety of bottled sauces from Honduras, with a unique variety of spices. My favorite is a chocolate infused hot sauce.“

“It’s a way fancier version of Kpot but for the same price. Decorations were chic and modern. Meat and seafood are high quality. Lunch is an amazing deal given that it’s $28/person for AYCE bbq, hot pot, and buffet. Did I mention the buffet had crab legs and crawfish? It was a lot of variety for food. Service was exceptional. Shout out to Andy for being so attentive, great with our kids, and making sure we had a good experience.

Parking: There’s limited parking in front, but a lot of parking in the back. There’s a garage that you can park in for free.

This is the only place that truly captures the taste of the chicken I used to enjoy back home. I once tried the BBQ branch in Greenbelt, but I was really disappointed—it didn’t taste anything like what I remember.

Whenever I feel homesick, I come here for chicken. The breading is perfectly crispy without being too thick, and the meat is juicy and fried to perfection. It's the kind of flavor that lights up a bulb in my head and brings me right back to Korea.“
