Marina was super knowledgeable and gave 15/10 service! You will not regret stopping here and grabbing a bite to eat or even just some drinks!”

“My boyfriend and I are from the Portland area and we needed a little getaway so we spent the weekend in Bar Harbor on the off season. We stayed just down the street from The Barnacle and Trevor the bartender took great care of us! He made us feel welcome and just like one of the locals. I asked for an espresso martini without Baileys and he created a dark chocolate orange espresso martini which was the best espresso martini I have ever had. 10/10 service and a great atmosphere that brings you all of the cozy New England vibes you could ask for. It’s a great spot for a quick snack and spirits. Will absolutely be coming back this summer!”

“Each morning began with a generous breakfast at Everyday Joe’s. It was a 15-minute drive to the downtown from the Heathwood Inn where we stayed, but we received a voucher as part of our nightly charge. The portions were hearty, the quality impressive, and the cozy setting made it a great way to fuel up before hitting the trails.
We usually split an egg dish and a pancake. My favorite egg dish was Breakfast Quesadilla: Peppers, Onion, Bacon, Ham, Sausage, Tomato, Cheddar Cheese in white tortilla served with Sour Cream & Salsa. My favorite pancake was (not surprisingly) blueberry.
An extra perk of Everyday Joe’s was that it also was a pick up point for a shuttle service to Cadillac Mountain. It could have saved me a lot of aggravation if I had known about this service before our last day there.”

“Amazing place. Kitchen is open until 11pm which is a blessing! The staff is super chill and the food is amazing! The pulled pork sandwich is fire and so is the burger. Definitely check it out when you’re in town!”

We were told they were out of pizza dough which is weird for a pizzeria… we settled for other food and were not disappointed. Their pizza must be bomb if their other food was this good. Makes us want to go back but we’ll call ahead of time to make sure we can have pizza 😆”

“Janice was recommended to us by our wedding planner for our July 2021 wedding. Her list of flavors is long and believe me, you could spend all day trying various combinations. For our tasting, every single slice we tasted was moist and amazing. We ended up getting a chocolate and yellow cake with peanut butter mouse and chocolate ganache filling. Never have I ever had something so rich, moist, and somehow light at the same time. For our frosting, I strongly dislike any traditional frostings. Janice suggested a whipped cream frosting thankfully. She provided us with a traditional looking 4 tier wedding cake with flowers (made by her out of merengue) cascading down the side. It was gorgeous! My sister who is a chef was impressed with the presentation, knowing that it was a whipped cream frosting which can be harder to work with. And believe me, this was the best cake I have ever had. 6 days later and it has retained all its flavor and moisture. I don’t seen how we will be able to make it to our first wedding anniversary with that in the freezer. I can’t stop thinking about how good the cake is. You will not be disappointed if you get your cake here!”

“We've been semi regulars since the Deli opened. Living locally, I come by in spring and fall when it's not too crazy in Bar Harbor. The food is always delicious and the service is quick and friendly. The stand out is their Thanksgiving Day After, without a doubt the best Sammich in town!! Thanks to Robin and her crew!!”

“I got a cold breakfast sandwich today. With an egg that had been sitting on the grill for who knows how long because I saw it when I came in and every other time I’ve been in they have grilled them. I always get hot coffee to go. This is my last trip here this year and unfortunately it ended this way. Normally it is very good.”

“Slice of Eden made our wedding cupcakes last year and they were fantastic! We had half of them made as chocolate with Swiss buttercream icing and half blueberry lemon cupcakes with whipped cream icing. They were a huge hit and gone so fast! We decided to have them make us a small blueberry lemon cake with whipped cream icing for our anniversary this year since we did not have one to save from our wedding. They knocked it out of the park! I can’t say enough good things about this place!”

“We ate at Pats last night and had such a great evening. We had Kernel as our service and he was wonderful, even gave us some great family advice.
