“Great tasting gyros. We tried both chicken and lamb gyros and they were great. The salad with Greek dressing was so fresh and delectable. Don't forget the baklavas warm with sweet honey and nuts. Highly recommended.“

“Their lobster rolls are AMAZING, huge and delicious. Their French fries and coleslaw are the best. We got ours “to go”. Everything is packed separately: lobster meat in PINT-SIZED containers, coleslaw, French fries and two rolls (there’s more than enough lobster to fill two rolls). They deserve 10 stars, but 5 stars is the limit.“

“Had a Valentines dinner, and everything was well executed, with attentive service without being fawning. The meatball app was tender, flavorful and accompanied by balanced marinara. The lobster bisque was outstanding. The filet was perfectly cooked, and the sauce and potatoes were worthy costars. Typed off with a miso butterscotch creme brulee that was simply unctuous. We look forward to trying the full menu.“

“Great little restaurant. I have never been here before but I will definitely go back. It was small but comfy. The wait staff was very friendly and did great. It was pretty busy when we got there but we didn't have to wait for seating at all and one we ordered for arrived in about 22 minutes which isn't bad considering how busy it was. The food was great. A perfect little family restaurant. The bathrooms were also very clean. I prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food that you get. I would highly recommend this place.“

“We decided to head out for the comfort food buffet at the Old Town Governor's Restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at the choice of dishes that were out. Everything was hot and fresh and immediately replaced when low. The coleslaw was very tasty, but I do wish that they would include a lettuce salad. I am not really a sweets person, but the desserts included in the buffet were super good. All in all, very impressive for a buffet. We will be returning.“

Our lobster rolls were out of this world, the woppie pie dessert was great, and the service tonight was excellent. This place is super convenient for dining during an overnight stay, and the food is way better than what the reviews show.“

“The smash burger was the best we have ever had! Dough boy bites were so flaky and delicious ( like dangerously delicious lol) the quesadilla cheese pull was epic. The customer service was fantastic and the food was ready much quicker than I thought it would be. Will definitely be returning to try the other menu items asap!“

“Outstanding selection of Beers on Tap. We went in for Drinks and Nachos. Our server Sean was great, but very busy this restaurant was understaffed. We also got a piece of Apple pie to share which was a large slice. Entrees we saw go by our table really looked good. Will plan to have dinner here next time we visit the casino. There is ample parking in the garage at the casino.“

“NStopped in with my fiancé and two teenagers for a casual dinner. We ordered a mix of dishes — two chicken parms, a California chicken salad, and a fried chicken entrée — and everything was solid for a chain restaurant. No wait to be seated, and our food came out in about 20 minutes.
Our waitress was a standout — prompt, attentive without being overbearing, and never let a drink go empty. With a couple of cocktails between us, the total came to around $140–$150 for four people, which felt reasonable.
Applebee's has stayed consistent over the years, and this visit was no different. Nothing over the top, but good food, a comfortable atmosphere, and excellent service. Worth a stop if you're looking for a reliable, no-fuss meal.“

Drinks were excellent. My martini was a little too dirty . After I mentioned, Natalie smiled & said “ no problem”. Came back minutes later with a perfect one.
I had one of the best Burgers I’ve ever eaten Cooked exactly as I requested.
My partner had the fish & chips. The haddock was so good & the batter unique & scrumptious.
Dewey( the owner) cane to our table ( as he was doing to all.
We had a fasinating & fun conversation.
I wished he could have joined us😂 but his restaurant was packed!

“This place is really a hidden gem, I have been in the food industry 18 years and I am kinda fussy when it comes to food. Well I am here to tell you the fried fish here has to be the best around. Not to mention the pizza is fantastic and a favorite of mine the poutine. Another popular item by the locals is “Lisa’s famous fried clams” those are also vary tasty. The staff is always friendly and the bar is always stocked. I definitely highly recommend.“

But the most amazing thing was the personalized service from Brian, the manager - let me explain - After dinner we started the arduous"trek" down Rt. 9 back home to Eastport. It wasn't until Monday morning that I realized I had left my wallet there. To make a long story short, Brian went beyond "the call of duty" and sent my wallet back via Fed. Ex. on his day off ! “I love geaghans. Their food is very good pub faire, with the boneless wings and the homemade pub cheese a standout. I wish the reserve sauce was still an open secret menu option. The beer is made locally, all quite good. Special shout-out to their ciders, big fan of those.

The bar area is great and the atmosphere is really good. Friendly folks and there is always something going on. The restaurant area is nice, too, but a much calmer atmosphere. I feel it's outdated, but maybe that's part of the charm. Nothing to reduce the final rating though.“

“We are frequent diners at Pepper's Landing. We always order seafood and it is consistently fresh and prepared to perfection. We love the Tuesday night option and the Sunday Suppers. The restaurant and the rest rooms are spotless and the restaurant is managed efficiently . For us, it is all about the service. Robin is always welcoming and friendly. She is super knowledgeable about the food and drink menu and does a phenomenal job multi tasking as the bartender tender and server. She does it effortlessly and always with a smile. “Overall, a decent place. It was quite empty when I visited. I was the only non hotel patron there. I wasn't exactly sure if I should wait to be seated, as the server was in a different room when I got there, but once I sat down he came back in and his service was pretty good. Very chill and welcoming. The food itself is a little expensive for what they offer, but not terrible. The menu is super small. As in one side of one page for food small. I tried the mac n' cheese. Without the pulled pork, the actual mac was very creamy and tasty. The pulled pork was ok, but it was a sourer bbq than I'm used to. They had college football on that I was able to watch which was cool.“

Great, see you in 25 minutes. How'd they do?? Sauce all over the top....it was marina but I specifically asked for the sauce to be on the bottom. Even the tag in the pizza box was correct. When I called them to complain as this is the SECOND time this has happened (first time we didn't call) the manager (who also made this pizza) made all kinds of excuses, this is how we do it, we don't make them with no sauce on the top, try calling in your order next time vs doing it online (this was a call in order not online), maybe explain it better next time, maybe tell them you want it made in the reverse order.... In the end, we still have this pizza, not guaranteed a refund and they've lost us as a customer!! $51 plus a $5 tip for this pizza & a gluten free. I just checked my bank account and I'm not seeing a charge yet so maybe she did refund after we hung up but not sure yet. Very poor customer service, especially by the manager!!“
