It IS Busy, and Usually there IS a line ( out the door at times ), but that tells you how amazing it is!
Parking can be a problem I wont lie. Hopefully they are trying to handle this in some way.
I have been here so many times my Doctor is trying to get me banned! LOL.

AS FAR AS THE LINES.......don`t sweat them. They have like 4 service lines inside and 8 people constantly scooping. Lines go rather quickly.

“We cannot recommend For The Love of Food and Drink enough — they were absolutely incredible from start to finish and worth every single penny. The service was truly top notch, and the food was phenomenal. We chose a BBQ menu, and to this day we still have guests talking about how amazing it was. We even had a family member from Texas say it was the best BBQ he’s ever had, which says everything. Beyond the food, we also utilized their wedding day-of coordination services, and it was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. They made the entire day run so smoothly and handled every detail so we could truly enjoy ourselves. As soon as we finished the ceremony and were ready for photos, they had drinks waiting for us — such a small touch that meant so much. During cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, they made sure we didn’t miss out by bringing us trays of hors d’oeuvres and personally serving us so we could enjoy everything. They continuously checked in to make sure we, our families, and our guests had everything we needed. At the end of the night, they packed everything up beautifully for us, including leftovers and the top of our cake, making it so easy to grab the next day. The level of care, professionalism, and thoughtfulness they showed was unmatched. We truly cannot say enough good things about For The Love of Food and Drink and cannot wait to use them again for future events. “We love their beer and staff. The space is welcoming. there's a baby changing table in the first bathroom no highchairs but they also only have snacks. Live music on the weekends But we also hosted our one year olds first birthday party here! We had about 40 people. Galen and Danielle (I did no catch the other bartenders name) were amazing and so so welcoming!! Definitely reach out if you want to host an event here! They have a huge parking lot, beer, cider, wine, and na options. 10/10“

“Great menu, great food, (They bake those muffins every day and they are devine!) great service. There is indoor and outdoor seating, so we are able to take our pup. The wait can be long on weekend summer mornings (10-15 minutes) but we used our time at the next door dog park while waiting. Unique local specials (Lobsters, blueberries, and crabs, Oh my!) and delicious coffee and teas. Try their blood orange juice freshly squeezed! You will not be sorry!“

“I was planning to go to a different downtown restaurant and walked in to this one as it started raining. The waitress took every effort to ensure our dietary requirements were taken care of. They had quite a few veggie burger options. We picked The Cool Beans, which came with a black bean and corn patty. She was quite transparent with the fact that they used the same fryer and oil for frying meat,veggie appetizers and fries. So, she substituted fries with freshly sliced avocado. The burger itself was thick and juicy. We ordered a PB& Chocolate milkshake that capped out dinner. They went out of the way to limit cross contamination. Will definitely return.“

Food - Menu has good variety, the lobsters come in daily, cooked just right. The view across the river to Portsmouth is like no other, plus the river traffic and bridge openings, lobster boats, big ships, tugs, you name it. River breezes tend to keep things a little cooler. (We have a 5 yo) she had 3 pieces of it. We also got a children’s item for our youngest and it came with cucumber and fries. Very yummy. She enjoyed it. My husband and I shared two apps and they were the poutine fries and pretzels. We heated them back up at the hotel because we were so full. But they tasted just as amazing. The environment was nice! Clean and friendly staff. My dad drives 2.5 hours from CT every few months just to eat here. That’s saying something.“
