“Stopped in for our first time to grab some lunch, and wow! Absolutely delicious!!! We got the chicken salad and the Italian and both were the freshest tasting sandwiches we’ve had in a long time! I was so excited to see that they use boars head for their meat and it comes with a generous portion to say the least!! We are hooked!! The owners are very nice and transformed this spot beautifully! I can’t forget to mention that I had to grab the Shain’s of Maine cookie dough ice cream as a family favorite treat!! If you’re in the area definitely make a stop in!! I can’t wait to try more of their menu and the soups they have to offer!! 🙌🏼 10/10!“

“I’m from the Boston area and was meeting a friend in Portsmouth for dinner. We picked Durbar Square and we’re definitely not disappointed. We had an absolutely fabulous meal there. The chicken chili was a delicious, and a different approach than any chili I’ve had before. The chicken was perfect cooked. The sauce was full of flavor. They also ask you to pick yours spice range from 1-10 so you can choose what suits you best. The owner, John, is totally engaged with his customers and if you want, can even demonstrate a yoga pose or 2 (which he is very good at). Just overall a great place to eat.“

We both chose the seafood fettuccine, which was heavenly - incredible pasta and sauce topped with succulent seafood. Desserts were lavender creme brulee and white chocolate cake...Holy cow! I tried to order online at 5am the same day but it would only let me choose the next day, so we made it there early (being a few hours away) and they had all their flavors (even the special holiday ones) stacked and ready to go!! My favorite has been the Pumpkin Spice Latte brioche donut this past fall season. (I am a frosting lover.) I love the Kittery location with its own parking lot and building. “I had heard about this place online and saw it was to far away from me and I was not disappointed one bit. This place is so incredibly cute and the atmosphere was so freaking amazing being able to sit down and drink my coffee in the sun was just amazing and just everything about the vibe of where they are located to the really awesome layout they have I have nothing bad to say, baristas were extremely nice and everyone was incredible there!

“Amazing. My expectations were pretty high because of the reviews and somehow it was even better than I expected. I got a farmhouse burger with a soft egg and a mint chocolate milkshake. The burger was cooked exactly the way I like and the egg was picture perfect to the point I was almost sad to ruin it by taking a bite. The shake, my lord, what a treat. I am putting this place right at the top of my places to frequent going forward.“

“My boyfriend and I tried Sara Thai for the first time after passing through the area on a recommendation. We would give it a 10/10. Mai Tais were delicious. Pan fried dumplings were to die for. My boyfriend enjoyed the spring rolls. Pho was also delicious. They also proved to be very mindful of allergies. I have a shellfish allergy and after letting them know and placing our order; they realized the base of what I ordered had a ground up shellfish paste in it, they instantly came out to ask me if it was allergy or dislike. When I told them severe allergy they told me what on the menu I could get as they were out of the base of the vegetarian paste they could use in place of the shellfish one was. Not many chefs or restaurants would think of small ingredients like this being a contamination , so I really appreciated the awareness. Didn’t get pictures of everything, but attached is two great choices!“

“I have lived in NYC, Boston and Portsmouth surrounded by some of the best cuisines of every form. I have to say this is by far the best indian cuisine I have ever had. Raj the owner personally served us and told us about his journey from humble beginnings to now one of the top 20 or so indian cuisines in the country. It doesn't take long to taste why. An unassuming restaurant on the outside to an amazing comfortable and authentic interior space to welcome anyone and everyone ready for the mos amazing dining experiences they will have. “Amazing first time visit to the Portsmouth NH location…from the the decor…to the scrumptious meals we had, Chicken Cordon Blue Benny and an Omelet with a heaping side plate of various meats( sausage,bacon and ham) and not to mention bottomless coffee refills……however what stood out the most was our server Emma ! Emma - has a unique talent for making you feel like you are the most important person in the room, even as she was juggling all her tables. Emma is the kind of server who can tell you a great story and refill your coffee at the same time. Emma -thank you for making our visit so enjoyable..we will be back! “I got my Christmas tree at Emery Farm this year, and it was a great experience! All the trees were really nice and in really good shape, they sell cider donuts you can munch on, they had a cozy campfire going near the tree lot where you can keep warm while you're waiting, everyone is very friendly, and they are giving away a cute wooden ornament with a tree purchase! I wrestled it in my door and onto a stand, with minimal needle loss despite the manhandling. It may not be the cheapest option, but the quality is there and they make the experience worth it. If you are able to support local places instead of big box stores and corporations, it's really a good thing to do and it really does make a difference. It keeps our money in our community instead of the wallet of some big faceless far-off corporation. 🌲💚“

“I was planning to go to a different downtown restaurant and walked in to this one as it started raining. The waitress took every effort to ensure our dietary requirements were taken care of. They had quite a few veggie burger options. We picked The Cool Beans, which came with a black bean and corn patty. She was quite transparent with the fact that they used the same fryer and oil for frying meat,veggie appetizers and fries. So, she substituted fries with freshly sliced avocado. The burger itself was thick and juicy. We ordered a PB& Chocolate milkshake that capped out dinner. They went out of the way to limit cross contamination. Will definitely return.“

“We got our first loaf of this bread yesterday from tender crop farm. The man who was advertising this bread was very informative and helpful when we picked our perfect loaf. He was very proud of this company and his wife! He spoke so highly of her and was excited to show off her picture on the top of the bread shelf. Today we grilled the bread, my daughter had hers with Nutella and i had mine with eggs over easy. DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend. We will try sour dough next!“
