“This was our first time here in 8 years since it changed from Maxwell’s to Pepper’s. Maxwell’s was a place we visited frequently when in Ogunquit, and we even had my 50th birthday there. We were very apprehensive about going to Pepper’s, and we did not know what to expect! Wow and cool were the first 2 words I thought of when we entered! The place we came to know and love changed, but it was a great change with an awesome bar! Then, we had some drinks, an appetizer, and then our food came. All of it was great, and all the servers and bartenders are wonderful! We definitely recommend the Firecracker Shrimp and Calamari for appetizers, and the whole belly clams and teriyaki tuna for main courses! Everything was fresh and delicious! We are looking forward to our next trip to Ogunquit, and Pepper’s will definitely be on our dining list!”

“This is a cute family friend cafe. The food was good but the bagel and lox I ordered had pretty much no cream cheese on it and the bagel was not good quality at all. I did ask for more cream cheese and the waitress gave me some. The staff was very friendly. We all thought it was odd however, that they didn’t have pancakes on the menu. That just doesn’t make sense for a breakfast cafe.”

“Got introduced to “That Place” by Friends last night for my Birthday 🥳 We had dinner there and I am so very happy that we did…the food was excellent and of high quality! We had several different appetizers and 3 main meals, and dessert…everything was absolutely delicious and the service was great as well 😊 Can highly recommend “That Place” you will not be disappointed, I guarantee you will love it 😍”

“The food was delicious the staff was kind and accommodating although it is labeled as handicapped accessible and that is a bit of a stretch, the supposed ramp out front is more of a sidewalk hill it’s very steep and took 2 of us to get my sons wheelchair up over the curbing and inside. Then they sat us outside on the patio which we were ok with except for the fact to get there we walked down the road to the end of the property to go through the fencing they had to remove the boards of the fencing to access and took 3 of us to push and pull at the same time to get into. It was extremely tight maneuvering to get settled comfortably at the table. (My sons an adult 34 yr old man) we did have a nice dinner once we got settled I just wish they’d had smoother handicap access if the wheelchair person was alone they wouldn’t be able to get in”

“We went here for a late dinner and we were curious to check out the piano bar upstairs. Overall, the ambiance was cool but we were not able to sit upstairs so we ate on the first floor. The appetizers were good (Buffalo cauliflower and french onion dip with homemade chips). The entrees were not anything to write home about - they was fine but looked a lot different in the photos online than it did in person, and for the prices I do not think the quality/value aligned. The fries were not very good, and the lobster roll was okay. The bolognese was also okay but the pasta was super overcooked, which I should’ve known would happen since this isn’t an Italian restaurant. The burger or fried chicken sandwich would’ve probably been a safer choice here.”
