“Best ice cream I’ve ever had. Maybe it was just a good day and all the stars aligned because I’ve had tons of ice cream in my day, but this stole the show. That perfect soft but slight chew to a hard serve ice cream you’re looking for. Got the Heavenly Hash, kinda like a classic Rocky Road. The prices are surprisingly low for the size and quality. On point.“

We were greeted by a young lady (too young to mention her name) with sweet, sweet answers to our questions as we were walking by.

We decided to go for it.

Ordered the twin tail lobster.
Good Lob, Good Corn, Good Bread, Good Slaw.

Great place to have a very good meal on a picinic table.

We will be back.

However, our (and our neighboring table) were disturbed by a very loud party of 5 '(birthday group) with no consideration of fellow diners. I understand that Wayside has no control over the behavior of the rude, but it's disappointing to have an enjoyable evening spoiled by the behavior of fellow diners.“

“Our favorite soft serve spot! The rotation of flavors makes it exciting to try something new, but the classic vanilla or chocolate or swirl is ALWAYS so good! They have a big selection of toppings, milkshakes, and an option for the sugar-free or vegan people, too! There is sometimes a lengthy line but it’s totally worth it (it moves fast 🙂)“

“I had lunch here yesterday for the first time, looking for a chirashi bowl. They didn’t have that as an option on the sushi menu, but my waiter was very accommodating! I can’t eat tuna, and they were able to substitute the tuna sashimi with more of my two favorites: mackerel and salmon. The mackerel was lightly torched and SO GOOD! They made up a nice sashimi arrangement with some sushi rice. Miso soup and a starter salad with the classic ginger dressing came first, which was a nice surprise.“

“Very cool seafood shack on the water with a fresh seafood market and counter bar. Servers were all super friendly. Clams and shrimp were super tender and their chowder is fantastic too. Even on a semi cloudy day in the 60s before beach season really hits it was still pretty full up so I'd recommend doing reservations if you're going to be here in the next few months on weekends. Will definitely return on our next trip to OOB.“

“We had a large group of 12 Girl Scouts stop for tea as part of a troop activity. Simmer was our tea barista and she was very kind and patient with the girls while they decided. She provided excellent service. The girls enjoyed trying new flavors of tea.“
