McDonald's in Detroit

“Fast, fresh, hot food. Pleasant staff, which unfortunately is becoming less common than it should be, but there was a line for both of the kiosk 's and she actually called us over offering to take our order. This is also becoming less common and I appreciated her willingness to help and do it without making us feel like she was being put out or annoyed. I wish I had payed closer attention to her name. The dining room was also very clean, had no problem finding a clean table and there was a worker mopping the floor in the dining area and even though we offered to move he declined and patiently waited for us to finish to mop up under our table and the ones next to it.“

“Purchased a big breakfast and all was good except no salt or pepper was given... I have noticed a trend with most fast food places they don't automatically given a customer condiments anymore, one would have to ask and I think it should be a given according to purchase...no big deal just an observation. The price no problem.“

“I was there Friday January 2nd at around 8pm. The young lady who was taking the orders was soo pleasant and nice. It was soo refreshing because nowadays good cust service is hard to come by. Im not sure what her name is but i feel like she needs to be recognized for it. Thank you and i WILL go back there.“

“I really like this particular location... My Baby girl now a young lady has been going here since she was 5 now 17 in college and yet she comes home on some occasions and guess where we go..lol.. I love that this place hires our children and managers are Mothers and Fathers and aunts and uncles sisters and brothers it's a great family place.. so as long as the doors open we will be there. “My favorite location..my coffee and food is always good but the dine in area is always closed when I get off of work 😡I wish the dine in area would stay open at least until 8pm though at least for take out orders I want a sandwich after work sometimes“

“Ordered on the app to pick up, pretty easy to use. I went in to pick my food up but couldn't get back to my order to get the # they needed (it was the first time i used it lol). The manager working helped & she was sweet. The young kids working were nice as well. & bam! My order was complete & I was on my way. Thanks guys!“

“If you want to be on time for work, don’t go till a hour of opening, there late coming to work in the mornings, it’s ridiculous I waited 45 minutes for 2 breakfast sandwiches because I was there before any workers, at the time of opening smh should’ve went to the other McDonald’s. “Best customer service I've received in a long time in regards to fast food. Everyone was on point. I received my order quickly and the fries were hot! Best of all, everyone had a smile on their face. It's so hard to find people who are pleasant these days. This was a great experience.“

“They were kind, very fast paced, and clean. I had the food before I was done ordering it. I was lost and they gave me directions when the ddot bus refused to let me ride.

“I was very happy and surprised by the excellent service I received from Ryan. The place was back inside and drive through but she was fast, professional, friendly and helpful. I haven’t seem that type of service from a fast food in a very long time. Ryan needs to be hired by corporate to go around to help train personnel how to work in a fast pace environment but makes it looks so easy. Thank you Ryan you restore my trust to visit this McDonald's on a regular basis.“

“The manager Hillary, was absolutely amazing. On a busy Valentine's Day, her attitude and work ethic was top notch. I am a server myself, and after a long day it was so refreshing to have somebody cater to my needs and provide such a positive experience. This woman needs a raise ASAP, because she is a true service provider!“

“My con about this place is they need better customer service skills here because some of them had attitudes like they didn't want to work today or something.

My pro is my food was nice hot and fresh they customer service was good when I drove up to the window and his they greeted you like we are cool after how rude they were on the intercom like 5minutes ago.“

“I only ordered a caramel frappe. I had a slight problem but the manager Dewan made sure I did not leave unsatisfied. I couldn't find my code for the Frappe and he made it happen and I was so elated. The service needs to step up the pace but that's not going to make me stop coming. they're doing the best they can and I liked it.. B-“

“My experience with this McDonald was absolutely amazing! From the employees who took our order to the employees who gave us our food! The employees were very polite, nice and just overall a warm welcoming atmosphere! Wish a lot of more service workers were like these employees at this McDonalds location! The date and time we went through the drive through was 2/19/2025 3:00pm so whatever crew was working was absolutely incredible!“

“So I have a question. It's 24hr but at a certain time at night it's doordash only? Because I was told that wen I rolled thru drive thru at 12:23am Jan. 29th 2026 and the man said door dash only. I'm not sure just asking my daughter use to work there.“

“Years ago when I lived nearby this McDonald's was the worst McDonald's I'd ever been to. It's been about 8 years since I've been here and I happened to be in the area so I reluctantly went in to get something to eat while I waited for a friend of mine to show up nearby. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is super nice food was hot and they even had a lobby attendant who came and cleaned up my mess for me and asked me how I was doing once or twice throughout my meal.

I don't know what changed but I will no longer avoid this McDonald's.

“I gave this four stars. The food has always been excellent and the people that worked there wonderful. I gave it four stars because it says they opened at 5 AM. I go there at 6:15 in the morning and pull up to the drive-through and they said we’re closed and this has happened numerous times on the weekend.“

“I was at the mcdonalds in DTW near Spirit. It was crazy busy. Probably 50 people wanting their orders all at the same time. The 2 women who were clearly running the show, were working incredibly hard. They were professional and polite in spite of people being rude and angry and complaining. I was very impressed with the integrity and professionalism with which they handled themselves. I hope you realize what great employees you have and treat them accordingly. Great to watch!“
