“I stopped at this location on 10/22/24 and was there about 1 hour. I witnessed the best customer service that I have ever experienced at a Starbucks location, the staff was top notch. They greeted customers as they entered the store and even recognized their regular customers and identified them by name when they walked in.“

“great spot to go and play! my 3 toddlers had so much for 3 hours straight. the staff is super helpful and the coffee is great. everyone in attendance was kind and courteous too. my only complaint is the cost of the food! I love this place, want it to stay open, but having 3 kids we can't go as often because I can't afford to drop $50 (before tip because those ladies deserve it! they were awesome!!) for a 3 hour playdate with lunch. I wish but I can't.“

“By chance I came across Moka Roots. Not only was the atmosphere soothing, inviting but made me want to sit n stay. The Barista was absolutely amazing and friendly. “I recommend everything! This is like finding a rare gold coin in your pocket change, or a Monet at the Salvation Army thrift store. Or stepping into Paris from the sidewalk in southeast Grand Rapids. Go slowly! Each nibble fills you with bright, exotic sensations. We go for the scones, cookies and madeleines. Today we tried the financiers, ginger passion fruit and s’more. Yes, it’s a fusion of French and American, but it’s how they’d do it in Paris.“

“Been coming here for years and their coffee is my absolute favorite. Always consistent and amazing. Only complaint are the prices have greatly increased over the years. Obviously prices are going to increase but I used to pay $4.50 for a latte in 2020 and now paying north of $7.50 or $8. Customer service is always meh. Never overly friendly. Keep coming back because of the amazing coffee!“

“I moved out of Grand Rapids 10 years ago and have missed my seafoam from Sweetlands! imagine my surprise when I found out they will ship it! I just got my 2 lbs of seafoam today (1 milk chocolate. and 1 dark chocolate.) It came fast and in perfect condition and it tastes oh so good!!! The best!“

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach.
