“Farmington Deli provided lunch at our hotel on my daughter’s wedding day. Owner was so pleasant to work with, delivery was on time and food was fantastic. We ordered fruit tray, veggie tray, subs, wraps and Italian pasta salad. The spread was presented beautifully.“

“Many moons ago, my wife worked at a Quiznos. On top of that, we both ate at Quiznos a couple of times per week because we were addicted.

Unfortunately, all of the stores in our area (Grand Rapids) closed down.

We were lucky enough to find this location on the way to Detroit, and stopped in on the way to and the way home from Detroit.

The owners are super friendly, the food was as good as I can remember, and we will definitely be back any time we head to the east side of MI.

“I have Celiac Disease and have to be careful where and what i eat. I came in 11-26-19 and asked about their protocol and was assured they would be careful. I order my wife's regular wrap then my GF Philly Steak. I wish I knew the girls names that were there in the afternoon , but the one on the grill said it was the prettiest Philly Steak she had ever made...lol. The right seasoning to meat to vegetable to cheese to bread ratio. The bread had a nice crunch yet softness to it; no complaints whatsoever. I also added jalapeños and they set the sandwich off! “This place has the nicest employees however when trying to call and inform them that all of their cookies today 12/19/24 tastes like cleaning detergent I could not get anyone to answer the phone. I just kept getting placed on hold then disconnected. DO NOT BUY THE COOKIES! I had to trash them all.“

“There is a baseline for a pretty good sub. Penn station meets that baseline easily, and you get a satisfying sub here. You know all the typical sub types, and they have them.

What sets penn station apart from its competitors are really great French fries. If I'm choosing a sub place and they're fairly similar in quality, I'll take penn station because of the fries.“

“This was my first time to this location, and my first time to Capt'n Nemo's in many years. I grew up eating at the downtown Romulus location and this location kept that nostalgic feeling. The subs were delicious. I saw many reviews stating about the size of these subs and I feel as though they are plenty large enough. We will be back again.“

Place was clean and they wipe down tables after people leave allowing others to sit at any table of their choice. “Sandwiches are somewhat inconsistent. I had two GREAT BLTs (5 stars) over the past week and then I dropped by today grabbing two giant BLTs ($30) for my brother and I. We get home and start eating and both look over at each other at the same time: Something tastes off. After opening the sandwich we see that the tomatoes are more green then red (see photo) and the lettuce tastes rancid as though it's been sitting on a counter in the sun for the past few days. Absolutely inedible. However thankful the staff were understanding and did issue a refund. I look forward to more (hopefully better) sandwiches in the future.“
