“We had the Hub cater our wedding in August and all we got was complements! From the appetizers to the taco bar. Samantha at the hub was so great to communicate with she answered all of our questions so quickly and was so accommodating with dietary restrictions! I would recommend for them for any event!“

“If you want the worlds best coffee this is where you should go. (No seriously) Anthology Coffee is a really great place. Its has a chill vibe, covered in plants, outdoor seating, its really cool. The Coffee is amazing. They roast it right there in the cafe and get it from small farmers all over the world who don't use any pesticides or GMO's. The pastries are great and they are all gluten free and they usually have something savory on weekends (It goes fast, so be there early). The baristas are really great and its kid friendly. Anthology Coffee is wheel chair accessible, there is a lot across the street with free parking, its great for groups, really anyone. Its located on 1948 Division St in Eastern Market which is really great cause you can head over to the market after or go for a nice walk on the Diquindre Cut. My sister lives in Detroit and every time I visit we always go to Anthology Coffee, I really love going there. Anthology Coffee is an amazing place, the people there actually care about the quality of coffee and where it comes from, they don't exploit their employees or customers, and really make a difference. The Anthology Coffee family is even better than coffee itself. I would definitely recommend checking it out.“

“Windsor has a lot of beautiful cafes, but my personal favourite is Gina's Cafe

Nothing better than walking into a beautiful, cozy Italian cafe with such a rich history dating back to the 60’s when it was Sorrento’s. Gina and Cosimo are the husband and wife owners. Both very lovely, hard working people who have always greeted me in the nicest manner. Gina even took the time after a brief conversation to explain the history behind the location and the business itself. It was a lovely conversation to say the least.

The desserts especially the almond biscotti is heavenly. The paninis and pizza are perfection to say the least. The espressos, macchiatos, and cappuccinos are perfectly made and always put some pep in my step.

This is truly a cafe with charm, amazing hosts, and lovely Italian music always playing. If you’re going to support a local business, especially exploring the local cafes of Windsor, I insist you come visit Gina’s ☕️❤️“

“This location is a block away from my parents house and my Dad goes in 6 times a day. When they found out my Mom had a heart attack on Thursday they sent her a bouquet of flowers. Also someone from there dropped off a bowl of chili and bun for my dad for dinner since my Mom couldn't make him dinner. This store went above and beyond. Awesome workers at this Tim Horton's.“

“I visit this Tim's every day when I visit the casino. Several of the ladies know my order and it's ready as soon as I step up! “Wonderful Coffee! The hand made syrups were probably the best I ever had. I tried two lattes, one with vanilla lavender and the other with honey cinnamon and they were great! I recommend both of them with oatmilk. The owner was super friendly with my party and I and we had a very nice conversation with her while she made our lattes. Down Under is only FOUR minutes away from the TCF, walking. There is NO reason to ever get Starbucks again while I am in Detroit for Youmacon. A definite must for all the con goers to give them a try!“

The selection of books is curated well and I'll defy you to leave without making a purchase. The decor feels like you've been transported back in time to old English library from an Agatha Christie novel, all we need to complete the vibe is Hercule Poirot or Miss Marple. The quality of the food is superb, they don't skimp and you'll never be disappointed. The staff, are those unicorns who love books and love their jobs. A wonderful hidden gem.“

I ordered a large coffee with cream and sugar, and a half dozen box of mixed donuts that included Birthday Cake, Cherry Almond, Blueberry, Brown Butter, Vanilla Bean, and Raspberry with Sprinkles. “I have shopped at Sister Pie for treats and baking tools, purchased signed cookbooks and attended classes. The team there is kind and knowledgeable. The baked goods are outstanding but even more - the work that the bakery does is meaningful. They are thoughtful in the way they build their menu and flavors, and in the way they participate in and build up the community.

Sister pie is unique in their approach to business with their focus not just in profit but also on people and planet. “We used Papelon’s Food Truck for our Quinceanera Event with 70-80 guests. We avoided having to setup food in the venue. Even with so many hungry guest the food was made to order (Arepas, Cachapas and Tequenios) without a long wait. We had all the option of fillings on the menu!!! During peak the pagers were helpful so the guest could enjoy the party inside until the order was ready. It’s a plus if it gets a little chilly outside. At the end there was no leftover since our guest (mostly teenagers) could not stop eating. Non of the food went to waste which is amazing and showed everyone just loved the food! Service was impeccable by the friendly staff who stayed until no-one was hungry! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! P.s. Always good to try the food when popping up at the breweries in the area or at their food market in St Clair Shores!!! My personal favorites are Arepa Papelon e Arepa Reina Pepiada!“

“The best cookies and cinnamon roll in Metro Detroit. The cinnamon rolls are huge, made fresh and served warm on the weekends. They are always a big hit at my Open Houses!
