“Don’t let the outside fool you. Inside, this place is an absolute gem! Bar is gorgeous, and the band behind the bar is unique. Bourbon selection is amazing, and the Fully stocked bar means any cocktail order is possible.
More importantly, everyone working when we went was super friendly and service was awesome!
Only thing is the lack of food. However, outside food is allowed, and we knew this before going so it was not an issue.

“My son and I stopped for a beer last Saturday afternoon. We were the only people there. Mary sat with us and gave us a detailed history of the place—which I’m sure she’s done hundreds of times. She is so nice. Loved the place. Stroh’s beer are very inexpensive, too. No food but Mary recommended another bar for lunch in nearby Hamtramck, which turned out to be a great place. There are a few parking spots behind the bar, otherwise it’s street parking.“

“I love the vibe created here. Last time I came was during Movement and it was so packed everyone was standing outside, which wasn’t for me. But I’m glad to have visited again so soon. I would definitely recommend getting a sorrel drink while you are there. They also have a great selection of wines most time. I always enjoy catching a DJ set while I’m there. I’m gonna bring my vinyls next time to see if I can sneak on for a 30 minute set.“

“It was our first time here, and we were not disappointed. The whole aesthetic was great, and all the posters, wall hangings, and art were awesome. It shows they've put on a lot of shows as they have a whole system down so we could get in quickly. The staff was very friendly and made great jack & cokes. I was also very pleased we had inadvertently discovered another pro-woman, pro-LGTBQ+ business. We had an excellent time, and we will be back“

We came here after a wine tasting and stayed until close, I’d say it’s a great spot to go to end your night, grab a little drink, meet up with some friends, play pool and chat on their well lit patio.“

Chris was a great bartender but I think he's unfortunately moved on, will be missed. Spacious covered patio out back is good for smokers & has some fun games (cornhole, connect4, etc).
