“Food was ok, (brought in)
Atmosphere (mature and mellow)
Service was decent.
The pour however was generous.
We were there on St Patrick's Day.
I was fully expecting to get ripped off.
Didn't happen, I was there for the 1st time, gotta a generous pour.
Service and food was shit.

I will definitely return, seriously, got a great pour on a day when I fully expected to be taken advantage of.

“Everything was good. It was our first time there.. I don’t appreciate the fact that they write in the tip without telling you .I had to go back because I double tipped and nobody said anything . They let me do it without saying a word.. they should tell you that they’re adding the tip in before you pay the bill. I didn’t realize what I did until I got to my car. I had to go back and straighten it out at the restaurant. I have four kids under the age of five. It wasn’t easy for me to do this. When you’re at the table with four kids and you’re trying to pay the bill, you don’t have time to look at it to see that the tip was added in. I gave the Service five stars because I think it was good Service. I just don’t like the idea of that she knew that all this was going on ,and didn’t remind me they had already put the 20% in .“

“Went there for the first time for lunch today had the burger and fries. Everything was top-notch prices were really good. Service was great. The old Bar feeling was great in the history that the place has is amazing. Definitely will be back here more often for the delicious burgers and fries.“

Exactly as its reputation suggests - a local, family run pub with cheap drinks, friendly service and tons of character & history. Apparently they have some homemade (literally) food 1 or 2 days a week that sounded like a great bargain. During my visit a local came in with some fresh pies and I was offered a slice. “Had a work event here and I celebrated my birthday this past weekend love the vibes. Enjoy the fact that you can hang out inside or hang out outside but still enjoy the music. That drinks are not super expensive. Parking isn’t too hard to find in the area quick easy spot to access other bars.“

“We went to Old Pony Martini Bar and loved the atmosphere! It has the feel of a great old neighborhood corner bar, casual, friendly, and welcoming. “This is a bar with an arcade, so bring your ID if you look young to show security. Arcade games are run on tokens. Mostly older video games and pinball arcade games. They run from one to three tokens. I arrived at 5pm so happy hour was going on. It was a 2-dollar discount for the drinks. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. The vibe was nice and left happy. The parking across the business is for residential parking only. The signage is confusing, so don't park there and you won't get stuck with a $45 parking violation ticket.“

“There's a thing about eastern market. It's alive during the day during market hours and then, it gets quiet. Pocket change was exactly what we were looking for to keep the vibes going! Just on the outskirts of downtown in eastern market. This little high end dive bar keeps dancing. Weekend DJ's and one of the only rooftop bars in the area. The incredible ambiance on the second floor feels like a hidden oasis of what seems to be the biggest spin and twirl of eastern market. I went with a few friends to celebrate a birthday to only feel like we were dancing the night away with the locals of the community. Great cocktails, incredible bar staff.. just ask for a spagett, and you'll feel like one of the locals!

They throw pop ups with surrounding vendors and if you need a late night snack the down stairs has some inedible tasty bites.“

“Jumbo’s is the dive bar that all these other wannabe “dive bars” try so hard to be. There is not a single window; the only sunlight here creeps in through the back door. The only food sold here comes in a bag, but food still gets brought in, and usually shared.

The TV in the back is the one with the game on, and the patrons on that side of the bar are locked in. The other TV has on a B-Movie you’ve never heard of, serving as the perfect backdrop for everyone on that side to quip with each other.

There aren’t really strangers here, but if you want to sneak away there’s plenty free open table seating… and a patio… and a four-quarter-push pool table… and a jukebox. This place rocks.“
