Great rewards program gives discounts and points often. The interior is fun but this store is a bit dark on the interior making it hard to read menus. Service is friendly and standard for service these days. Easy online ordering and pickup. Overall great if your looking for more American-styled Mexican food with punchy flavors.”

“Tried for the 1st time last night. The pizzas and cheese bread tasted great. The only negative thing I have to say is that the crust is hard, but nothing was burnt. Tried the normal crust, GF crust, and the cheese bread. All 3 had hard crust.”

“We hosted our baby shower at D’Amato’s in December, and it was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. It’s such an amazing spot for a private, intimate event—we had around 50 guests, and the space was perfect. The entire process was seamless, the food was unbelievable, and the staff truly went above and beyond to make the day special. Everything exceeded our expectations, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful it was. I would highly recommend D’Amato’s for any special occasion!”

“We were instantly greeted and seated. Our server Robby was awesome. The entire staff was friendly. Chef Johnny is very talented and friendly. I love that he greets all guest and will even bring your food out himself. For starters we had the shrimp and crab cakes. They were crispy on the outside and melted in your mouth. The surprise with these was that there was whole shrimp inside. We loved it. The sauce on top was just the right amount. The salmon with saffron rice, coconut curry sauce and green apple slaw was the best salmon I've had in a while. The pairing was new for me but it worked. The salmon was juicy and perfectly cooked. When paired with everything on my plate it was like fireworks. Everything popped and was amazing. My husband had the beef strudel. Now he was thinking it was gonna be like a beef wellington but no. When he put his fork into the perfectly crispy flaky crust and into the most tender beef either of us have ever had, OMG. With the first bite all he could do was say "WOW"(sorry about how loud he was). The flavors of that plate were incredible. The blueberry cheesecake was the icing on the cake. It was perfect. Sweet but not too sweet and the smear of lemon sauce on the side elevated the flavors. The drinks. I had the rainforest and my husband had the Johnny Manhattan. When we saw how small the glasses were we were definitely worried. That feeling quickly faded with the first sip. The drinks may be small but they are strong and delicious. We had to pace ourselves with those. Overall, I give this place a 10/10 and will definitely be back again soon. Thank you to everyone there for a great time and for great service.”

We were greeted warmly, they wished my wife happy birthday, and the entire experience only got better. Our server, Mikaela was outstanding—read the room like a pro, had perfect timing/pacing, was so kind and graceful—nailed it from cocktails to dessert. Everything that hit out table (cocktails, apps, entrées, and a sweet birthday desert delivered by the chef) was impressive. 10/10 from the moment we walked in the door until a sincere goodbye when we left. Simply, it was a perfect dining experience, and I don't say that loosely. Would absolutely recommend, zero hesitation.”

Danny, our server, was newly back to work at Pronto and I've never seen a server work so hard to accommodate people and ensure we were well cared for. the entire staff and clientele were so kind and encouraging. I spent most of the meal examining the lighting fixtures (there are so many!!!), and our family searched for disco balls (also SO MANY!). The food was amazing and the service was fast. we took our 14 year old there for dinner because they needed to see that there are safe, public spaces for them - and the awe and amazement in their eyes the whole time told me that we found our new "regular" spot. the music was fun, the service was spectacular, and the entire vibe was just lovely. and as a lighting nerd, they play with light beautifully, even during a routine dinner service. to the staff at Pronto - particularly Danny - thank you. as a mom trying to figure out how to best parent a child who isn't like me, you gave me immeasurable gifts last night. you gave my child hope for a future as an adult. we love the local youth programming available but it lacks a connection to adults who are thriving and living full, beautiful lives. seeing that in action was everything our kid needed and so much more. thank you.”

“At a recent family birthday celebration, I needed appetizers at the last minute. I went to the right people for help! It was no problem for Kal and Ann! They cheerfully made fresh batches of delicious hummus (two varieties) which came with chips and pita bread. I served that, along with two kinds of their fabulous soup, to my dinner guests. Everyone complimented the delicious food Kal and Ann prepared. If you haven’t tried KAL’s Lunch Bowl, located in the Royal Oak Farmers Market yet, I recommend it. You won’t be a “just another customer” ~~ You’ll be a FRIEND!”

Of the options the flour tortilla beef birria seemed to be the best fit. I ordered those, a side of beans and, a side of consomme. Was amazing. Just on the edge of what I can tolerate heat wise (I am a wimp). Great taste. I used the consomme to make birria ramen for a later meal. (Just beef ramen, 2 sticks string cheese, and the consomme). It was also great, very satisfying.”

“I have had a lot of disappointments in sushi restaurants in the past, but I have to say, this was not the case!! Going into this restaurant, expectations were low, but I was definitely wrong. We started off with edamame, which was the perfect amount of seasoning, next we were given tempura tofu, which was absolutely delicious, 🤤 it had the perfect amount of flavour and texture. Next we were given miso soup, which was perfect, first of all because it was actually vegan, my parents are vegan and I’m vegetarian - which was surprising because normally miso soups are not vegan, but these soups tasted just like the ones with fish dashi in them, so that was great! And then, the star of the fricking show. Was the sushi. We ordered avocado rolls, avocado cucumber rolls, some yam rolls and others, this sushi was so fresh, made well and overall sooooo yummy! 😋 the atmosphere was pretty nice and cute, and the staff was sweet and very very friendly. Overall - an incredible experience!! We would definitely come again!!!”

“I have been going to Olga's for more than 20 years in downtown Birmingham, Troy at Oakland Mall, and now usually in Royal Oak. For years the spiral cut French fries have been my favorite fries at any fast casual chain. Yesterday I was at Royal Oak and the fries have changed for the worse. There is a new batter style and they were too salty. Please bring back the old fries!!!”
