“The food is so good here! Hadn't been in a couple of years and missed this place so we ordered some take out and everything was as good as ever. The beef and broccoli very tasty, shrimp curry big pieces of shrimp very fresh tasting and the sauce delicious. Egg drop soup is fantastic and the portions are generous.“

“We almost didn’t go because it was difficult to find parking, but it was definitely worth the walk! We were sat immediately and greeted with very kind service. We ordered boneless chicken wings with spicy Korean sauce, and we each ordered a spicy rice noodle bowl. Our server told us what to add right away and how to enjoy the bowl. Everything was delicious. We tried the sliced beef and brisket and both were great. Definitely a great Minneapolis spot for a warm lunch on a cold day! ?❄️?
Parking: We went on Saturday and got lucky with parking, but be prepared to walk a bit. Construction makes it harder to navigate.“

“Service is fast, quiet, professional, courteous. Food is very good. Portions are generous for the cost. I was skeptical about paying almost $30 for an entree and upgraded rice (you can change the plain rice to fried rice for a reasonable fee) and an appetizer. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food I got. I can share one order with two or three friends we all get enough. (It also reheats well in a low temp skillet).
I always take it home or have it delivered, but they do have a few tables available if y'all want to eat there. It's clean and simply decorated.
Ample parking, easy to get to.
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot could be tough on a wheelchair. I did not notice if there was a ramp onto the sidewalk. I assume so, but I don't recall.“

Pepper steak and Keng's Special Chow mein were this visit's stand out dishes.“

“Had an absolutely delicious dinner on Christmas day. The menu was huge, and every dish we tried was wonderful. The dumplings are so tasty. We were really pleased with the orange beef too. The wait staff was great - attentive but not intrusive. We were very lucky to have the private dining room. So glad they were open for the holiday!!“

“It’s Sunday evening and without Vikings Football until Monday night I decided to have a late dinner at my favorite Leann Chin location in St. Louis Park. Remembering I had a free entree to redeem, I strolled up to the front counter only to be greeted by a young, kind line server named Amari who walked me through the check out process. Amari helped me redeem my (somewhat confusing but likely just a ‘’me vs. technology” thing) free entree via the Leann Chin App. He made several suggestions including a recommendation to try the Peking Chicken which ended up being the highlight of my plate! They had just ran out of pot stickers and Amari wasted know time dishing them up and running them out to my table immediately after fresh ones hit the line. The food (as always) hit the spot however the best part of my experience was Amari and his unique ability to provide incredible customer service and at the same time showing the world that expert customer service is still very much alive & well. Well, it is whenever Amari is punched in.“

“First time eating here. My wife and I were happy we chose this place out of a whim. The atmosphere is really chill and laid back. The service was friendly and quick. I’m almost certain that we had received our food maybe 10 mins after ordering. The Szechuan Wontons and Cream Cheese Wontons were both very delicious. Our entrees were fantastic! We’re definitely coming back when we make our way up to Minneapolis.“

“Best lunch in downtown mpls. I don't care what anyone else says. I don't care about awards. This place is it. There's 2 different lines, left side is more Chinese American style. The right side is more Vietnamese with pho, banh mi, rice/vermecelli. I've tried about 80% of the stuff here and nothing. And I mean nothing tastes bad. Everything leaves me desiring more. Everything is reasonably priced in comparison to the other nearby restaraunts. There's no such as dry meat here. There's no such as under seasoned food here. I would recommend this to everyone on this planet. Incredible.“

“Food from here tastes better than other 'takeout' in the area. Quality ingredients and more veggies on the menu. Everything so far tastes good. No weird bitter aftertaste, no over-salted or over-breaded meat.Mandarin Chicken - good balance of meat and veggies, not too salty or saucy.Japanese Chicken - also very good, good balance and good sized pieces.Orange Chicken - actually has orange peel!“

“Don't listen to Mr. B down there, that's someone who thinks that the "customer is always right." Also "instant parboiled rice?" Your a** is so entitled, might as well call you a Karen. As a customer, I'm so happy that you screwed off from this restaurant as I'm sure they want NOTHING to do with you.“

“I think this is the best Chinese food we’ve ever had!!!! We have a family of 7 so we always order lots of food and I feel like it was less food than we get from other places but still the best food hands down and will be the only place we order from going forward. We had the sesame chicken, general tso chicken, house fried rice, chicken low mein noodles, and egg rolls.“

“Well, pre covid I did not like this place. Sometime between then and now, this place has greatly improved! For take out, my wife and I are now here, maybe twice a month. She loves the house special ried rice, I love that I can add Cashews and chile to my shrimp and vegetables! Egg rolls, always taste fresh. The cooking oil doesn't seem to leave that aftertaste on fried items, that means they change it to fresh when needed! The Beef Lo Mein is fantastic and...AAAANNNDDDD the Coconut Shrimp...Highly recommended!!!“

“Our experience at Big Bowl was awesome! Our waitress was friendly, smiley and energetic. She was also very efficient and knew the menu well. I would love to eat there again soon. It's one of my favorite restaurants to eat at on a special occasion. I ordered the yellow curry and green bean dish. My friend ordered the sesame chicken. I can't wait to visit again!“

“I got a #12 lunch special and an order of the steamed dumplings. Cost came out to just under $19. The amount of food I got was a ton! Definitely worth the $$.The dumplings were by far the best I have had. Huge size and tasted great! Not a fan of the egg roll. It tasted like it had been rolled in sugar prior to being deep fried. Came off pretty sweet. The sesame chicken was good. Really liked the coating on the chicken. Sauce was ok. Not super spicy but chicken was a little dry.Nothing special about the fried rice. It’s like they just put white rice in the wok with some soy sauce and an egg. No real taste. Would be better if they put just a couple of peas or carrots with some seasonings.I will go back just for the dumplings!!“

“I don't normally do this but if you haven't tried the food here yet, give them a shot. So friendly when I was ordering, they allow you to adjust the spice level up to a x5 on almost all of the items. When I was leaving with my take-out, I asked for hot mustard packets and the owner brought me her house-made hot mustard but said she did have packets of the traditional hot mustard. I took her recipie mustard and it is so yummy and amazing, I'm hoping they sell it in a larger container, i could imagine using it with a lot of my own cooking. I ordered my food (lo mein, hot and sour soup, beef in garlic at a level 3 and the taste is amazing. I'm going to try level 4 next time. The portions are huge for the price as well. If you haven't been in a while or ever, check them out.“

“We love this place! There food is delicious, and consistant. We have been ordering to go from this establishment for 4 years since we moved to the area. Great prices, and the portions are huge! Egg rolls, pad Thai, fried rice, and spring rolls are our favorite order! The customer service is always amazing! The food is ready within 15 to 20 minutes from ordering it always! I have never had to wait. 100% recommend! Resturant is always clean.“

“This is the gold standard of Chinese food for me. I used to order from here all the time 10+ years ago in high school and loved it. I have since become a professional cook and so have tried tons of Chinese places around town looking for the best one, recently drove past this place and decided to order from here again and holy cow 10 years later it’s still the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. The cream cheese wontons aren’t all breading, they’re delicious and crispy. The orange chicken is unparalleled I didn’t know how much I missed it. I’ve never had orange chicken that even holds a candle to this one. I’m newly enjoying the chow fun as well! This family can COOOOOK. The food is so well seasoned, it always comes super hot and is insanely cheap for the quality. I’m so sorry I ever ordered from anywhere else, it was you all along Xin Wong.“

“This place was such a great surprise considering its location. It's on Lake Street and I normally wouldn't be found anywhere near this location. It's not the best part of town. But this place blew me away. It was clean friendly and the food was actually really good not to mention a really fair price. Would recommend the eggrolls so flavor the pork and broccoli the fried dumplings with dipping sauce. I was also surprised at the seafood options like huge easy peel shrimp again great value. You might not want to stay in this part of town long but if your hungry I definitely recommend this place
Kid-friendliness: Plenty of options even for the pickiest eater“

“I absolutely LOVED my AYCE Hot Pot experience here!!! It was quiet given I went 2:30pm on a Sunday, but they had all of my favorite ingredients stocked, including lamb, enoki mushrooms, fish balls, shrimp, tofu skin, and so much more! My favorite part was the fact they could make the broths with a vegetable base and they were still INCREDIBLY FLAVORFUL (especially the Tomato Base one, which is usually a hit or miss at the other hot pot spots in the area). 10/10 would highly recommend, the service and food was great!“

“The egg drop soup here is my absolute favorite out of any of the places I’ve been to in the greater MPLS area. The dining is by far “fine” dining but there are more than enough tables for seating, although probably not ideal for a large group. The Pho special was delicious; the broth is on the sweeter side and the meat variety was all tender. Definitely get more than enough sprouts & jalapeño to go around.
Vegetarian options: Can always sub for Tofu!
Parking: This is connected to a strip mall so there’s more than enough parking and specific restaurant parking right outside the doors!“

“One of my favorite places to get food. It’s not too expensive and it’s just such a chill place. The food is always the perfect temperature and it’s the best every time. “I stumbled on this place accidentally ?I was going to rainbow and then met “The Cookie Man” and he told me that they sell his cookies at this restaurant so I was only going to the store for the cookies but then the other day I asked a customer how was the food, the man said it was the best fried rice in Minneapolis. I said “what, it hits like that, I got to try it…” and I did. Now for my beautiful ladies with babies, y’all know how it is when a craving hits and you like “it better be on point or else!” I ordered a small order of the shrimp fried rice and although it is simple without all the mixed vegetables and such it is very good. I got to the car food was fresh, I mean burn your mouth fresh, took the first bite and it reminded me of this amazing restaurant we HAD back home called King Fong in downtown Omaha. It was the best fried rice. ??????This is a runner up. So that says a lot. Anybody that know about King Fong in Omaha know about King Fong! ???
Anyways the service is good, speedy and I have not had a problem always nice and friendly and they laugh when I order only cookies previously but now…ordering the cookies and the fried rice. Oh for those that are into the details like that of the dish it is brown rice (I believe it is colored with flavored additives). It has white and green onions, eggs and bean sprouts again simple but comparable to a lot of fried rice that has to add all the extra fixings just to give it flavor this place is great for minimal ingredients with a mouthful of flavor. Don’t even need to add the soy sauce. Again my review is specific to the shrimp fried rice and cookies. Happy eating y’all!
Parking: Parking can be chaotic especially on weekends which is when I have experienced trouble.“

“The location is easy to find. Excellent customer service. Employees were smiling and friendly. The prices were very reasonable. Food was good. I had the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken and it could have a a little more coconut flavor. Had a nice spice heat to it though. The cream cheese wontons were tasty. The other meal was Mongolian Beef and that was good too but the beef was a little chewy. The chicken fried rice had good flavor. The dining area was clean and plenty of seating. I will eat at this establishment again..
Vegetarian options: See menu online
Kid-friendliness: Several food items kids may like to eat. Cream cheese wontons, sweet and sour chicken, egg rolls, white rice, chicken fried rice, potstickers and a few others.

“The peanut chicken is the star of the show. The skin is crispy and sugary, the sauce is great. I wouldn't recommend the spare ribs, but everything else I've gotten from here is pretty good. Most of the time, the sauce spills out of the containers and into the bag. But that peanut chicken is worth it. I get it delivered through Door Dash so I can't speak for the service or atmosphere.“

“We have never eaten at a restaurant like Legendary Spice. It was an interesting experience. Our waiter was very helpful directing us through the process. There is seriously so much food. The steamed dumplings and sesame balls were absolutely amazing. I ordered the Mushroom hot pot & my boyfriend ordered the spicy beef pot. His was definitely HOT, so not my thing, but he enjoyed it. “Good restaurant. Service was great. Restaurant clean. They have a nice menu selection. I got combination #5 which is chicken chow mein, sweet & sour chicken, 1 egg roll and fried rice. Egg roll was my favorite followed by sweet sour chicken. The chow mein and fried rice were also good. Coke products served but in a can so you will pay more if that is not enough for you. There is plenty of parking. I enjoyed my dinner and would go back.“
