“Excellent Service... Delicious Pizza...“

“It's Taco Tuesday and I was craving Mexican food, but I didn't just wanna go to the type of place you think of when "Mexican" is brought up... I'm fancy, so I wanted something a bit more upscale. I did a little bit of research and wouldn't you know it... Colita came up. So here's how it went! Atmosphere/Appearance: Set south of downtown and a bit west of The Mall of America on Penn Avenue is this gem. There is no private parking lot, but plenty of street parking to leave your fly ride. But once you walk up to the restaurant you can immediately understand the message they're trying to send. Everything looks so modern, straightforward with straight lines, grey colors and light woods. There is a small outdoor section where you can dine if you get lucky enough to land a spot there. Inside carries a very similar style with a little nod to the pueblos and architecture of the southwest. The decor is minimalistic and the "loudest" thing in the room is the live plant wall seated directly behind the bar, which was super cool. Service: I can't remember who took care of us, but we had no issues whatsoever. Food/Drink: I was able to try so many different dishes and drinks here and the list is below... 🍹: Xochitl In Love 🍸: La Clandestina 🐟: Tuna Tostada 🌮: Chicken Tinga Tostada 🦪: Seared Scallops 🫓: Tlayuda 🥃: Colita Old Fashioned 🥩: Lamb Barbacoa Tacos 🫔: Duck Tamal However, my favorite things were the Lamb Barbacoa Tacos, Duck Tamal and Seared Scallops, in that order. The food here is phenomenal, the drinks are excellently crafted and things are served tapas style so you don't get too full off of just one thing! Order a whole bunch of stuff and share with the table! Value: As I mentioned earlier, I wanted upscale and the priced dddooo reflect that. Lol. This is a nice place so be prepared to spend... Like you're downtown somewhere. In conclusion, I loved this place and I will come back over and over. Check this place out the next time you're in the area!“

“My husband and I love coming here for our business meetings, usually on Mondays. We always try to sit in Lilly’s section when she’s working — she’s hands down one of the best! Her attention to detail, quick service, and fun personality make every visit awesome. She’s funny, relatable, and just real. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does — and it shows. “Found this place on Google maps while waiting for my son to finish up an activity. Super cute local bakery with a great selection. Prices are very reasonable - ranging from $2 ‐ $4 for most items. I went at 11:30 on a Thursday and they were sold out of about half of their items so i wouls suggest going earlier. I really enjoyed the savory pastry and the scones.“

“The bride dropped the couple's cake on Friday night and I called , and they were able to replace it with a similar cake by the following morning in time for the wedding. Even though the original cake was not purchased from them. I cannot thank them enough for being able to save the cake cutting ceremony and it was delicious. I don't recommend doing that , but their baked goods are delicious and worth a visit.“

We usually stop by weekly at other stores nearer to our home, but we happened to be in Plymouth today and enjoyed the cordial staff, fun music and vibes in the store, and the delicious protein bowls we had. The girls were sweet and put our other to-go yacht bowls in the fridge while we ate in the store so they would not melt. A great experience - thank you!“

“Lovely place and owners. Had a Bauru, an outstanding steak sandwich, named after my hometown in Brazil. The brigadeiro cake was delicious, perfectly balanced with a scoop of raspberry sorbet. Thank you, Kalinka and team. It was a beautiful taste of home.“

“I just stopped in to Mosaic coffee shop after passing it many times. I was very pleasently surprised by it. The interior is cozy and inviting. There were a lot of small groups and I would have loved to stay but it was a bit full (Sunday mid-morning). I would love to come back, claim a spot to myself, and try some of the cafes vegan pastries! They had a wide selection including savory vegan treats (I feel like I don't see vegan savory pastries often!)“

“My friend and I showed up at around 10:40 PM. We love that they're open until midnight- perfect for a snack and a drink or two after a movie, say. Their Thai coffee is less cloyingly sweet than most, and their pommes frites are all business. The slice of carrot cake is colossal, and also more subtle than most. The warm woodwork and Tiffany lamps make for amazing ambience, whether you're shmoozing a date or debating a movie with friends. An old favorite!“

The restaurant itself is beautiful and I love seeing the fish in the tank when we dine in (but the food is also hot and packed great if you get to go). “We were looking for a place for an anniversary brunch, and found this. Great patio seating, view of the lake (we’re going for a walk around the lake when we finish), fantastic food. We split a dish and it was plenty. And they do a refill on drip coffee.

We are 100% satisfied and will return!“

“I love the interior design, service, and food here. I also appreciate the interesting menu selections, which offer more variety than other spots in St Louis Park. This is a great place for a date, a girls' brunch, or even a corporate meeting. My mom use to order the duck sandwich, which unfortunately is not on the menu anymore. She tried the Kimchi bowl instead and enjoyed it. My favorite is the chicken Mediterranean wrap—the chicken is such great quality, and they're really generous with the portion size! I also recommend the ratatouille, chicken wings, chicken apple sandwich, fresh espresso martini, and hummus platter.“
