“A really great experience. For us, different new cuisine, made in an accessible and delicious way. The plating was appetizing. The bison, soups and yes....the snack like popcorn crickets were our favorites. A very helpful server and all the staff was friendly and nice. Very glad we went on a visit from New York. Location was pretty too.“
“I had a lovely dinner here. The star of the show was the churros dessert. I haven’t had any that come close! We also tried the Caesar salad (different but tasty!), aguachile, elote, and octopus al pastor. The octopus was a bit chewy and could have been saucier. Overall, it was delicious and I’d come back!“
“Seriously such an adorable little place, and the cinnamon rolls are HUGE and so fluffy and caramelized and delightful! I'm so glad it's so close to my work so I can pop in once in awhile. Plus, the two guys working there were personable and made me and my friend a great mix between their raspberry tea and a kombucha.“
“I am so happy to have found Atuvava! Their cheddar biscuits are THE BEST. Great for making homemade breakfast sandwiches! Everything I have tried there I have loved. They even have some takeaway frozen options. Get there early if you can because stuff tends to sell quickly. Every staff member I have encountered has been genuinely friendly. This is an all around great place. ❤️Dietary restrictions: Exclusively gluten-free bakery!“
“Kicking myself for not stopping here earlier! We came for a sweet treat after a birthday dinner, and we both agreed it's some of the best ice cream we've had in the Twin Cities. Things to know: - Almost ALL of their flavors are gluten-free! - A variety of signature staples, revolving flavors, and seasonal flavors - The shop is small, with a few benches and one table for seating - plan to take it out and walk - It's tucked away in a walking-only area of 50th and France - park in the parking ramp and enter near Mr. Paul's We had such a hard time choosing flavors - they were all so creative and sounded delicious! As a gluten-free girly, I was shocked and impressed to see flavors like cookies & cream and brownie offered GF. Prices are pretty typical - and honestly for the quality and flavor, it's worth it. The staff member onsite when we visited was so kind and helpful - she was clearly enthusiastic about the flavors and had tried them so she could give accurate recommendations. We opted for: cayenne caramel brownie almond toffee ganache peanut butter chocolate cookie milk and cookies and loved each one! Can't recommend this spot enough.“
“staff was great and my bowl was beautifully made. will definitely be returning!Vegetarian options: all dairy free and no meat!Dietary restrictions: gluten and dairy freeParking: a lotKid-friendliness: nice staff and fun wallsWheelchair accessibility: a lot of room“
“Stopped in for lunch & tried the turkey pastrami sandwich. It was SO GOOD. Way better than a sandwich has any business being. I'd say it was the special dipping sauce (it kinda was), but also everything was super fresh. I'll be back to try some treats.“
“Amazing gluten free menu. There were so many choices it was hard to choose and the pricing wasn't crazy like most places. We got the Chicken Parmesan and a meat pizza as well as the GF bread option. The toppings on the pizza were very generous and delicious. Being able to eat Chicken Parmesan and the Alfredo noodles that came with it was such a special treat!“
“Lovely space to spend the morning with family! The man who runs the place was so friendly and welcoming, really taking time to engage with each costumer (and the kids!)My 4 year old was in the boarder of being too old for the play place, but my two year old loved it! Definitely will be going back. The cakes and breads are delicious!“
“If I told you an apple sweetie pie changed my life you wouldn't believe me so now you have to read my story.I'm used to getting gas station donuts. To me, grocery store bakery items are the fancy choice. Then, one fateful day I walked into "Hold the Wheat" and like a unrefined street urchin I asked for an "apple fritter." Spencer looked at the shelf and handed me what I thought was their version of an apple fritter. One bite into it I knew I had discovered something special. Flakey pastry, with a gooey, sweet center. Every time I chewed there was more crunch on my palate. I had to stop what I was doing and concentrate on what was happening in my mouth. I finally figured out it was the course grained sugar that was giving it the crunch.I told myself I would write a witty review for them but I procrastinated until I forgot about it. A couple weeks later, I drove by the shop and noticed it's name. "Hold the Wheat?" Hold on, it's also gluten free!? Mind. Blown. It never even occurred to me that what I was eating didn't contain gluten. My wife has a gluten intolerance and I knew I had to let her try it. Well, here I am. She just told me, "It's like heaven on earth."We tried the apple sweetie pie, caramel Spencer cake and a lemon bar. All of them were fantastic.Even the coffee was fantastic.I'll never be able to enjoy another apple fritter knowing that I could be eating an apple sweetie pie.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Sarah Jane's Bakery is one of the best bakeries in Minnesota! They have lots of variety and often times have specialty bakery items as the holidays and seasons come up. My favorite time of year is during Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday. Sarah Jane's is one of the few bakeries in the twin cities that will bake a traditional king cake (with the baby inside) and also Pacski in several different flavors! On a normal visit, the banana flips are to die for!! It's definitely worth the visit.“
“As the name suggests, this place is all about being social. You definitely want to come with a group. My party of two stopped by on a trivia night and, even with the host on the loud speakers, I'd say the sound split was 55/45 in favor of guest chatter. Nicely varied selection of drinks, and the food truck has a solid burger. Tots were a bit over seasoned for my taste.“
“Great sushi spot with an upscale casual vibrant essence. The interior dinning area played on the purple pink hues and tones from their menu design. They have a sushi bar that you can sit at watching the chef making the sushi. They have an awesome selection of specialty cocktails, we got the lychee one which was very yummy in a dangerous pleasant way.Came in for a quick light lunch.Lots of seating options from 2 table tops and booths.Great service and atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back to try more things off the menu.Parking: Big lot surround by other cool spots to go to afterKid-friendliness: There were families there during lunch time“
“I was lucky enough to win one of Muddy Paws cheesecakes on 'X' and let me tell you it was the best cheesecake I've ever had that I didn't bake myself! Full of flavor and love! I'm in Texas and the shipping was awesome! My cheesecake arrived packed with special care to ensure freshness and did not disappoint! I will be placing an order in the coming months! I highly recommend trying Muddy Paws as soon as you can! ? ?“
“Everything here is always excellent! The food, the service, the ambience. The manager regularly patrols the dining area to check in with patrons and make sure we are all happy as clams. And their salsa is so good I could just drink it!!!I recommend making a reservation as this place is always bustling. We last came here on a weekday holiday and the reservations were all open (except for ours), but the waiting area was super packed. We were seated right away of course. My favorite time to visit is when it's cold and dreary out, and the weather is getting to you (either early or late in the season). Bring family/friends and OPHMG will lift everyone's spirits. They have seasonal dishes and drinks during the holiday months, too.Seriously tho wish I could buy that salsa by the jar lol“
“Such good ice cream. It made my mouth orgasm. It was awkward because everyone around me was wondering why I was moaning so much while eating my ice dream. Then I sneezed and shot ice cream out my nose. That is how you orgasm out of your face.“
“Nautical Bowls are by far the best Acai bowls that you can get... I have tried many from other companies and they just don't have the variety and rang e of ingredients and toppings that nautical bowls has. A bit, expensive, sure. But worth it every time.“
“This might have been the best restaurant experience I’ve had in the last decade. The waiter was SO nice and accommodating. He saw I was wearing a backpack and asked if he could clear off a table in the corner for me to do some work. It was so nice ? The market salad was also incredible (sweet potato, cranberry and goat cheese) ???“
“Seafood or chicken. We chose chicken. Glad we did. Revival....never been. End result......going again. We had the chicken plate. 'tizer of the best GD cheese curds ever. ( I'm from MN, That's saying something.) Mashed potatoes were awesome. Something added to them, don't know but very tasty. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. I went mild but the hot version looked and smelled out of this world. EMMA our server and the staff supporting her were top notch. They had $5 bottles of the Champagne of beers. St. Paul cartoon bear tall boys for $7Parking: Parking lot is on north side of building. Parking for 10 maybe. Parking on Nicollet Ave was open. If you're coming from NE, take the #11 bus. Stops right in front.“
“y’all if i could’ve eaten everything i would’ve. here are some of my favorites: the brussels sprouts! and the cabbage kinda a dark horse wasn’t expecting to love it. and you know what was so slay the tiramisu. i LOVED everything and i will have to find a time to “
“The blues music dive bar of Minneapolis! Good bar food, great service, friendly patrons. Have had some pretty grumpy bartenders in the past (YEARS ago) but no bad experience now. The renovations are great - feels more open and brighter inside.I'm a huge fan of bar "pork tenderloin" sandwiches and couldn't resist ordering one during my last visit. It was really just a deep fried pork chop on a bun. Very delicious but not an actual pork tenderloin.Note: it is very loud when the band plays, do not go for a date night and expect to carry a conversation.NA option: Heineken 0.0“
“Sebastian Joes has been a favorite of my family and friends for years! All their ice cream is excellent, but the best of all is their oreo flavor. Nothing will ever compare. My husband and I chose to serve Sebastian Joe's ice cream for dessert at our wedding, which added to the many great experiences we've had with this amazing local business.“
“I didn’t know cider could taste this good! If I could buy this in my home country I would be buying it and recommending it to everyone. Sad for me it’s only available in the US. They use lots of different apple varies to create very unique flavours. Not too sweet too.Vegetarian options: Gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian pizza options, all delicious.“
“Edina Creamery is a delightful family-run ice cream shop that truly stands out with its vast variety of homemade ice cream flavors. Every visit feels special thanks to the extremely friendly service, and the fact that they make their waffle cones fresh on the premises adds an irresistible charm. It's a gem of a spot where the warmth of family hospitality makes every scoop of their delicious ice cream taste even better.“
“Modern Times has a cool, creative/artistic vibe to it. The cafe is bright and the staff are friendly. I love that they offer several GF options an entire vegan menu. The miel is delicious and their breakfast sandwiche on GF bread was amazing.“
“Best Pastry shop I have tried so far in the Twin Cities!Very good quality pastries and being an amateur of french pastries, I can tell that whoever is behind this (both the chef and the cooks) know their craft.A big shout out for the cannelés !!! They taste as though made right from Bordeaux. It has been so many years since I was able to have such delicious cannelés.This place is a gem, it's not easy to find such a pasty shop in the US. I highly recommend it.“
“First, Mexican Sunday Brunch Buffet... 10-3Second, a very nice tavern is in back with a full bar and table service, you might miss it because the street entrance is the taco walk-up for short order with excellent meats and options.Third, El Plato Maya big ests with 3 mix-and-match tacos, tamales, y/o tostadas with beans and rice, with a beer and tip runs less than $20.Fourth, salsa bar. Yum. Pink Cebolla en remolacha (pickled onion) is the spicy funky than takes your taco up a notch.Fifth, authentic flair and feeling.Anyway, this site is their best site and you should take your date there. I wonder if you can order a whole huachinango (red snapper) or mojarra frita.Friday nights, you can get a sopa de mariscos (seafood chowder) that will fix what ails you.Dietary restrictions: The counter service is mix-and-match so you can customize anything you might want. Plenty of options and the salsa bar is fantastic. There are vegetarian tamales and other vegetarian options. As always, black beans are vegetarian and pinto bean refritos probably have animal fat.“
“The lovely barista recommended I put some cardamon on my latte- it was incredible. Thanks so much- I really enjoyed it.The cafe is quaint, the service is kind and helpful. The food people had looked tasty. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Will be back!“
“This was one of my favorite interactions I’ve had in so long. Heather is so sweet and kind and made the whole ordering/pick up process so great. I’ve been recommending her to all of my friends and one of them is getting married and reached out to heather already to make a gluten free pie for her wedding! Can’t recommend heather enough. The cherry pie is SO GOOD!!!!“
“I eat here a lot, and I love the food, prices, and service. I have an account, so I often get free food using the loyalty points. They have great vegan options as well.Vegetarian options: Falafel or quinoa can be substituted for any of the meals. They also have vegan options.“
“I didn't get anything when I was there, but my wife and son did and they loved it!!We first heard about this place when a friend of my wife's recommended it it. She told us to try it out at the Minnesota State Fair, and we did...so we just had to go to a store and get some more.I'm sure we will continue to be repeat customers.“
“Best place to eat in Maple Grove! Consistently great food and service! They recently added Birria tacos to the menu, those may be the best thing I have ever tasted anywhere! Somehow Malones is connected to Pints and Paddles, limited menu there but still great food!“
“Great place to eat but it’s a diet destroyer. The food is so good and plentiful you can’t help but over eat. It’s worth it thought and you won’t regret it when your in that food como later on.I had the catfish, collared greens, and grits. I’m a southern guy born and bred. I wouldn’t hesitate to rank Brasa’s food with some of the best I’ve had from back home.“
“Casual fun place with good food. Chicken, pork, and fish served as plate, sandwich or bowl. Chicken was really tasty. Lots of side dishes. Different spice levels.Tip included and employee benefits are claimed to be good. I appreciate that.“
“It's a bar with a restaurant. Kitchen seriously needed some ventilation. Very smoky in the restaurant, not burnt smoke, or cigarette smoke, but just good ole fashioned kitchen smoke. Be warned when they're serving their brunch menu in the morning they do not offer their a full menu.“
“Wok in the Park doesn’t need any more attention because it is busy!! But that’s because the food is so good. Everything tastes fresh and they have a good variety on the menu. The only thing I’ve gotten that I haven’t enjoyed is the egg rolls. They are huge and stuffed full which is just not my personal preference. If you go here, just plan ahead because people love Wok and you’ll need to wait!“
“One of my coworkers brought a package of their cupcakes to a work event, and they were some of the best cupcakes I've ever eaten.I ate the red velvet cupcake, best I've ever had of this flavor. I can't wait to visit them in person!“
“Have used them a few times for pick up and delivery for special occasions.Easy to use website. Great service and excellent bundt cupcakes. The seasonal ones can be very tasty too along with the standard favorites. All the experiences have been great. Reasonable and delicious cakes. Highly recommended.“
“Royal Grounds is a pretty cozy little coffee shop, nestled along Grand Ave in Uptown Minneapolis. The coffee is delicious, water is plentiful, and the snacks are too notch. I appreciate that the shop discourages tips in favor of a fair wage for all employees. The decor is also quite unique and fun, especially in the bathroom.“
“I love the food and the atmosphere at Yum! Everything is so delicious. My go-to is the tuna melt. Their homemade potato chips are so addictive. My daughter craves the Mac and cheese. Their nut goodly bar is the stuff of dreams. I did call them this week as I wanted to pick up a dessert for a dinner party where a couple of people keep kosher. None of the desserts are kosher which is a bummer. It hasn't diminished my love for the place but when I googled "kosher desserts" for Minneapolis, yum! came up.“
“I love coming here. Super quiet. Friendly employees. I’m not a fan of the black coffee, but I think it’s my palette and personal preference. I much prefer their lattes and other beverages. I wish they had more food options. I got a roll once which I thought was overpriced for a piece of bread. I just make sure I eat first now before I go.“
“Food was excellent. Great omelet with fresh ingredients. Enjoyed the warmth on a frigid Minnesota Sunday morning. Overall a nice coffee shop and great breakfast spot. Biggest kitchen with Tina of flour. This place produces a lot of baked goods. “
“Service was top tier, the setting was so romantic. The waitress went above and beyond. They all celebrated me with a complimentary drink and dessert. I was spoiled! And I’ll be back to dine again! The staff, the chef, thank you! Thank you so much, and you all deserved that nice tip and much more!“
“Always delicious, always yes. I absolutely love going here! They have an online reservation system that is great and user friendly. Quick at getting your food and drinks out to you and always has a cozy feel no matter what location you're at.“
“Found their Vienna bread at Morrelli's and it is amazing, honestly the best Vienna bread we have ever had. I can see this bread replacing our every day white loaf. Going back tomorrow for another loaf and I will be making a trip to the bakery soon .....Nummy!“
“I want to preface this by saying it was delicious, the service was incredible, and the atmosphere on a Friday night is lively and fun.I just can't give it 5 stars in confidence because the lychee cocktail made me incredibly, acutely ill. I was keeling over in stomach pain and retching bile within an hour of drinking it.This sucks because it was absolutely delectable and I would drink it again, lol.“
“Great customer service! All of the staff was super friendly, the food was super tasty and you could see the staff waiting on people and keeping the dining area clean. It was a great experience and we will be back.Parking: Big parking lot with plenty of parking available. Also has other shops and Cafes in the same lot.“
“This was one of our first stops for food during our first visit to Minneapolis. The pizzas are amazing try the Greek vegetarian pizza...it's out of this world... also try the artichoke dip and warm pretzels... margaritas are average...“
“Yum yum yum. Love the customizable bowls and how just... good... younfeel after eating here. I wish the app didn't stink and the rewards program would work better - I'd probably eat here more. But beyond that service is efficient and the people that work there are nice. Food always delicious and fresh.“
“I truly enjoy Pizzman pizza. 90% of the time the pizza is great, but every now and then it is over cooked. Normally the service is great also, but tonight I ordered delivery and the woman that took my order (not sure of her name), was extremely rude and unprofessional. I've never dealt with her before, and hope I never have to again. I really enjoy Pizzman pizza and would hate to stop enjoying it because of this issue. When you spend your money with a business, you expect and deserve to be treated with professionalism....at least in my opinion.“
