“Let’s get real… I stopped in to check out the Pharm Juice Bar in Duluth today. I selected an açaí bowl that felt interesting and asked about the granola because sometimes granola has nuts in it and I have a nut allergy. The gal behind the counter kindly let me know it contained almonds and offered to leave it off—great, awesome! My bowl ended up coming out with the granola. Mistakes happen BUT what matters is how you react. My fiancé kindly let them know we had ordered the bowl without nuts. He picked up on my exhaustion right away. The gals working there were amazing! Not only did they correct the mistake, they also went above and beyond to make it up to us. Having a food allergy is exhausting, but it’s great to know there are awesome places like this willing to go the extra mile to make it easier. Plus this açaí bowl was AMAZING!! “Fitger's is a very popular place that I learned about from my son-in-law who fishes in the area. I can only confirm what thousands of people already know. If you missed Fitger's, you missed Duluth. It has a couple of hundred years of family owned tradition and holds to a high standard in preparing food and brewing beer. Fitger's is adjacent to the boardwalk along Lake Superior and a short distance from the Duluth trading company.“

“Great time. Went on a Thursday afternoon so wasn’t busy at all, but I had a taster of beers. The ODB was definitely a favorite. That Dark stout was light but tasty also. Ordered a pretzel. Little well done but still soft inside. Bartender was awesome too. Very helpful.“

On one side of the hallway are snacks, sweets, and cooking ingredients plus some accessories, while the other portion of the store has a large selection of home and kitchen products. I specifically prowled for cheese and found a nice cooler with mostly domestic cheeses plus other chilled things like fancy butter, mustard, and meat.“

“There’s more than bowling at The Incline Station. The Spot is a separate bar and grill. It’s across from the Radisson where we are staying. Marisa, our bartender provided great service. There’s a full bar with local beers on tap. Good place for large crowds and there’s a patio. Don’t miss this hidden local gem.“

“This is a cozy, dark pub spot for when you don’t need a full, varied menu. We popped in during a Saturday evening. My husband had some of Fitger’s own brews, while I was happy to get a Wild State Cider. We shared pretzel sticks, which were hot, soft, and delicious. Great cheese dip, too, with a perfectly thick texture that stayed on the bread. The room is pretty small but wasn't obnoxiously noisy; we had no trouble conversing.“

“There were 2 staff members There with a line to the door. Nathaniel and a girl were the only ones working. They were pleasant and did not seem to be stressed out. We felt bad for them though.“

“This is one of the best malt shops I’ve ever been to! I got a strawberry malt and it is one of the best things I’ve ever taste, it was as magical as Christmas Day!

The line was very short and it was not a long wait at all. Parking was easy to find and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and I had such a good experience here.

We ordered a chocolate vanilla and strawberry malt and they were all extremely good. All of them came with whipped cream, wafer, and a cherry on top which made the whole experience even more amazing. I absolutely love it. This is one of my favorite ice cream shops. It’s 10 out of 10. I would recommend if you’re going near here.“

“I haven't eaten at BU since the change in ownership, but I use to order with my co workers all the time in past years. (almost religiously lol)
I decided today to order delivery and got The Maverick burrito (because they no longer have the burrito I really loved) When it was delivered and I took my lunch it looked great! They remembered to remove the jalapenos from my order (thank you!) however it is supposed to have a chipotle sauce on it as well and mine did not have ANY on it. So it left the burrito just...meh. It was good but very bland and semi dry without the sauce.
It was a sad disappointment because I was hungry and couldn't finish it due to the blandness of it.
It's not a deal breaker, I will probably try it again someday but ordering after not having BU for YEARS it was bit of a disappointment.
Delivery isn't the quickest but the driver was super nice and polite, next time I will order and pick it up because I can get it way faster that way than delivery. I am still giving it a four star because, hey things happen but I sure wish that sauce would have been on it because I bet it would have been even better!“

“I go there 1 or 2 times a week never had an issue with the speed. Until today. At 1130 I went up and ordered a brownie she gave me my table tent for it and sat down your lunch rush came in and was served there food came out in a timely manner. at 1145 still waiting for the brownie. at 12:00 I finely waved mg table tent which got a mangers attention but he got pulled away and sent someone else else to.see what I needed. it shouldn't take us to flag someone down to get a brownie. you guys where having an off day today I guess“

“This place is underrated by the reviews. Food was excellent, basic tex mex food but good! Margarita standard but good. Back patio is wonderful. Salsa is outstanding. This place deserves more of a 4.5 stars I was surprised to see 4.1. And we are pretty picky“
