“I had a take-out chicken salad sandwich on 7/2 . Sandwich was on sourdough bread which was very dry. Very little salad with way too much lettuce. Chips were mostly regular potato chips. Meal was too expensive. First time having poor quality food at your restaurant.“

“Our server was amazing . We had a little incident at our table where a glass tipped over broke right in to a shareable we had at the table. He immediately thought how to clean it up without having to interrupt a lot. He said I will be replacing this entire table along with any food just because of broken glass. He ordered another shareable to replace the one with glass and swapped the entire table with the one next to us and replaced the alcoholic drink that caused the problem lol. He dealt with the other table at a different area so it wouldn’t interfere with our gathering!! I mean that was such great service.“

“Came on a Saturday at 2pm and was a little sad to see that they didn’t have any of the vegan loaves of bread, but did get a baguette (contains egg) and it was realllllly good. Everyone knows that gluten free bread is not the same as gluten-filled bread, but this baguette had a nice amount of crunch to the outside and it was perfect with soup. Wish they had more vegan options available as not everyone in our family can have dairy and eggs. But absolutely will be back to hopefully snag some more gf goodies again soon!“

“Almost every single dish has a vegan option and most things are under $15. I got the French toast on sourdough and it was great! They also have vegan raised donuts MWF with a bunch of different flavors. This place is loud and it’s busy. Will have wait times of upwards of 30 minutes on weekends.“

I know what you’re thinking, “How good can pie really be? Is it really THAT much better than a gas station donut?” Well, I promise you that the baked goods at this establishment are truly exceptional. In fact, we moved almost an hour away and still drive back to use this bakery for special occasions. I only wish their hours of operation were better (after work on weekdays and longer on weekends!) Try the strawberry rhubarb pie or crunch donut holes, but you really can’t go wrong here.“

Terra, the owner and manager, went above and beyond to help my husband and me with accessibility, parking logistics. We have one more scheduled trip to Minneapolis, and we plan to return to Urban Wok to try some more of Terra's tasty dishes.

“I had the chicken chimichanga and my partner had the shrimp tacos. He tried some of my rice & beans and immediately orders his own side! When we first got there, we were bummed out about no chips and queso… but everything following that seriously makes it worth it, forget the queso! The salsa was amazing as well. The service was awesome, I read somewhere that this place is owned by 3 sisters and you can absolutely tell they own the place. Not only can you tell they are happy to be there, but they really enjoy the restaurant. You’ll see them back there cooking your food before they bring it to you. And there is one ingredient in their food you will never taste at El Rancho Grande or any big name Mexican restaurant… LOVE!! We ate all our food and were definitely full, but it didn’t leave us feeling all gross and lethargic like you do after eating the greasy food at other restaurants. Come show this family owned business some love, you won’t regret it“

“We stop at Scoops whenever we visit the grandkids! It's within walking distance of their house and it's always a fun trip. The servings are generous, the help is always friendly and accommodating, and the place is clean! We love to sit outside and enjoy our treats! Thanks, Scoops!!
