“I thought I had written a review for this place already, oops, my bad. I love, love, love this place! Came here on a weeknight and it was packed. I did not make reservation but we got lucky by snatching two chairs at the bar. It is small inside but worth the wait. The staff was super efficient and friendly, there were two girls and one guy. The guy helped us with drinks and ordering our food. I am so sorry I forgot his name, but you could tell how hardworking they all were. We both ordered Potsticker Duet (highly recommend): *shrimp, Angus beef, chives *tofu mushroom kale *dill pork *kimchi pork My favorite was dill pork, it goes well with old godmother hot sauce. Honestly all the potstickers were amazing and their list of dipping sauce was great too. A female chef (we think she is the owner) came out of the kitchen and asked us how we are doing, and she gave us some kimchi she made the same day for samplings. Everything was delicious and the drinks were top notch, of course I always get my favorite drink, old fashioned with Japanese whiskey. Superb place.“
“Great little restaraunt. The owners are very loving people and showed a lot of love to my two kids when we dined in. They gifted my kids some candy and toys. “I completely love this restaurant’s menu, atmosphere, service. This restaurant gives me the best experience for hotpot buffet since I have moved to Stadium Village area! I am a mandarin speaker as a second language so I can speak mandarin with the other people that eat there and make friends with them! Wonderful and delightful atmosphere! The menu is full of delicacies that give me an adventurous feel everytime I eat something new there. I love the Taro Doushabao; taro buns! “I have been searching for the best Chinese food spot as I recently moved. All I can say is China Tiger is it hands down. There’s a few spots around the area I have loved, and other areas in other cities I constantly vouch for people to drive 45 minutes for if need be. However, I had the biggest surprise after ordering my food today. The House Egg Foo Young is the best I’ve ever had in my life and I used to work with natives of China when I taught at an immersion school a few years back, this food reminded me EXACTLY of their home styled Chinese/Asian cooking made fresh every day. The spicy garlic chicken and vegetables was amazing as well, hands down this will be my go to spot to order (I had to stop eating my food just to make sure I gave them the recommendation immediately because I’m at a loss for words over this Chinese Cuisine).“
“Everything was top notch. Quality and tasteful interior, large seating area, both booths and many tables.They have an extremely large dining area and a full bar. The staff was professional and friendly. My daughter and I had an early dinner there and the food was fabulous.I have owned 6 restaurants in my younger days. “This Cantonese restaurant is not to be missed. We stumbled upon it when over by the U of M and couldn’t have been more impressed with the delicious food. We’ve been here several times now and our must-order is the salt and pepper beef short ribs hot pot,(picture included). The beef is so tender and perfectly seasoned, coming with onions, peppers, and a side of rice of course. Other dishes have been very enjoyable too. The staff is kind, quick to attend to you when you arrive, and clearly the cooks are experts in their field. What’s nice about here too is that it has a good dining atmosphere with a lot of eat-in patrons, not just operating primarily as a takeout joint like many Asian restaurants do. Highly recommend!“

We ordered the appetizer platter, didn’t care for the chicken wings, the breading was weird, but everything else was fine and you nothing tasted greasy. We shared the Triple Kung Pao that was beef, shrimp and chicken. It lacked spice but the flavor was good. It came with a nice size bowl of white rice. Canned soda only. Staff was lovely.“
“Loved the food. Best eggrolls I have ever head. And the wonton soup was so comforting on a cold wet day. The women who took my order and rang me out was friendly. She was very thankful for my business and when I paid and tipped in cash she gave me a chocolate truffle as a thank you. I will be returning to the place to try more food. You get great portions for a very affordable price, they have standard Asian American staple dishes as well as some creative options as well! Though not really a Chinese dish, General Tso's chicken is kind of a benchmark dish for comparing restaurants. The portions were generous. Though not a major cost, I appreciated the sides of white rice that came with the meal. They were easily twice what I have received at other places. It is definitely a take-out restaurant. They have a handful of tables for dine in. Will keep them in mind for future visits.“

“My deceased grandfather's favorite takeout. I love to go now and then for old times sake, bland but filling. Tasty if you like "American Chinese food" This is old school takeout Chinese. The stuff American servicemen back from the war made a staple for so many families from the 50s through the 80s. I'm nearly 60 and I went there with my grandfather as a child. The guy who founded it still ran it then. The food is hot and filling and the portions are big! Which is nice. The only drawbacks are NO CREDIT CARDS or electronic payment of any kind, they do take checks, but when is the last time you saw a checkbook? The other is they need an option for some more seasoning. They assume like most places that Minnesotan "Chow Mein" customers like traditional Midwestern blandness. I know they can make spicier food, but I don't know how to ask. They don't speak much English, and I'd like to find a way to say "Its wonderful, but please more seasoning in the chow mein"“

The General Tso chicken is always delicious, and the orange chicken has a good balance of spicy and sweet. Hot and sour soup is DELICIOUS, so is their cheese rangoons and donuts. They always deliver to me lightning fast with PIPING hot food. Literally the only Chinese place we order from and the prices are crazy low. I can’t believe how much food we get for such low amounts.“

“Lao Sze Chuan makes some of the yummiest Sichuan food. Sichuan food is savory and spicy the Sichuan peppercorn makes your tongue tingling. It's something to become accustomed to because most people are use to eating HK style food and American Chinese which focuses on salty and sweet flavor profile. I enjoy the mapao tofu and sichuan boil fish. I always order these two!“

Egg roll was my favorite followed by sweet sour chicken. The chow mein and fried rice were also good. Coke products served but in a can so you will pay more if that is not enough for you. There is plenty of parking. I enjoyed my dinner and would go back.“
