“I love to have lunch at Doolittles with friends because their menu always has something for everyone and the noise level is low enough to make it easy to carry on a conversation with more than one person. I usually choose the Pick 2 because their soups have always been top notch and the ciabatta club delicious. I was disappointed today. The apple compote on the mushroom soup was a nice touch but did not add any flavor. It was a bowl of puréed mushroom with no depth of flavor. The sandwich while generous in size did not taste as good as it has on previous visits and the home brewed tea used in the Arnie Palmer was so weak it barely colored the lemonade.“

“We had a fantastic time! I really appreciated the wide selection of beers on tap, featuring both local and out of state options. The food was excellent as well. We sampled a mix of traditional and exotic bratwurst. Among the unique offerings, we tried the smoked elk, which was tasty but didn’t quite blow us away. I loved the range of toppings available; we opted for bacon-braised sauerkraut and fresh onions, which complemented the flavors nicely. We also enjoyed a classic beer brat, a mac and cheese brat, and a Korean burger. I don’t believe the prices are bad because the food is leveled up. Overall, this place is a wonderful spot for exceptional beers and a creative twist on pub fare.

“As out of towners, we weren’t sure about this place based on outside and location. But wow! The inside is gorgeous, every food item was delicious (we split a buffalo chicken wrap, French dip, tots and cup of soup). Our waitress Jackie was awesome! “We hadn’t been to Perkins in a while; I was hungry for brunch food, and its nice to have lunch and brunch options for everyone. My boyfriend and I and his daughter went on Sat about 1:00 and we both ordered Granny’s country omelettes, his daughter ordered a breakfast burger (beef with bacon and egg), and everything was so good! It was busy, a full dining room, but the service was friendly and quick. The hash browns were crispy and the omelette was perfectly cooked, the burger was a big portion and she ate every bite, coffee was just right as was the hot chocolate with whipped cream. Will you please tell the kitchen and staff and servers they are doing a great job?! :) We will definitely be back to this Golden Valley location again soon.“

“My friend and I had an incredible time at Owamni. My compliments to the chef. Truly one of a kind experience. The food was outstanding from start to finish ( presentation, flavor profile, texture, all natural and full of character). “Myself and four friends were in Minneapolis for a few days on a visit from Ireland and had breakfast here a few times. Food was delicious. Great choice on the menu. Service was brilliant. Staff friendly and efficient.“

“Known for their “Jucy Lucy” which are 2 Patties with cheese cooked inside. My family that lives here likes the Jucy Lucy and especially the fries from here. During the summer they say there are long lines out the door. We can here in December and it was pretty busy for a week night. They only accept cash or checks, no card. We were lucky and got seated quickly, service was also quick and I asked for a beer that goes well with it. My sister in law got a chicken sandwich and I put her lettuce in my Jucy Lucy. Beware to not bite into it quickly because the cheese squirts out. Every bite I took the cheese indeed came out and burned me. Their fries are really good. I opted to keep the pickles and onions in the burger which I enjoyed. It was nice inside and they still had Christmas decorations making it feel like a Christmas bar. It was nice to be able to customize it the burger options, and his transparency about the uncharges was very much appreciated. I got the "Kinda Fancy" Jalepeño King with sweet pickles and mushroom and a side of sweet potato fries with siracha mayo. Both. We're. Fire. Atmosphere was chill and relaxing.

“We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! “First time I visited since Veterans Day. Your sticker indicated a three percent service fee due to supply chain issues. Why don’t you just raise your prices to cover those issues. If the supply chaiin issues are solved you can offer a price rollback. I’ll find another place that posts their prices instead of service charging.“

“I have not been there yet, but it sounds interesting, and I am very intrigued by the Dog menu. I think that is the cutest idea! The prices aren't as high as I assumed. The dog gets a 3 course meal, with different choices & ranging from $13 to $26.00 for all. The drinks also seem very unique, and I love all the effort they have put into this place. Their menu is large as well, plus they have specials & happy hour!“

“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. “I have eaten here couple times and thr good is great. Love the farm to table food. I am a big person on fresh quality and not prepackaged foods and this place is amazing for the food. Both times I was there around brunch on a Saturday and the breakfast menu was really good both times. I got a breakfast bowl with carnitas meat and it was amazing. Lots of flavor, texture, color in the bowl from crispy potatoes to delicious carnitas to a smooth and silky and cooked perfectly. The pickled stuff in it was different and a great contrast to the other parts. The micro greens are a current favorite to added nutritional boost and getting these on both plates here was awesome. The bowl was a lot of food added meat made it right amount for me, the added meat not necessary but highly recommend.
The eggs benedict was a different take. It is one of my favorite breakfast menu items. This take I could appreciate the concept but it was a 4 star for me. I really liked the cornbread that you can tell is fres and made in house if not at least near by. That was a great variant that I may have to acquire when I make it at home. The ham was delicious, it said maple cured and we use only pure at home no maple flavored but the maple flavor I was hoping for more of a pop from, maybe using a little maple syrup in the hollandaise sauce? Anyway the eggs were perfect and topped with micro greens as well. The hollandaise was, well not enough, or jot enough of a flavor, it was minimal and really felt like an after thought rather than a main focus which when ordering a Benedict the 3 things are required, a great hollandaise that is fore front, a take on ham, and a base. They had 2 of 3 spot on. Thus I would say 4 out of 5 for it great meal still don't get me wrong but could have used a touch more hollandaise with a bit more of a flavor or focus on that aspect. Great place will be back. Also like how they jave some fresh produce, baked goods, and farm fresh meats in coolers there.“

“Service was a bit slow and it was quite noisy but both were understandable because we were sitting in the very busy bar area during the Wild game. (Go Wild!) The food was excellent. Walleye for two of us and a turkey and cranberry sandwich for the third. The broccoli and loaded baked potato that came with the walleye dinner were delicious, as well. We will definitely return.“

Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

“Had steak and shrimp $25.99 special. Everything was great except the steak. I unfortunately had to send back a tough gristle filled steak for a better, but tough steak.
The service was excellent, and they did their best to satisfy us. There are many delicious items on their menu, and we will be back... but steak will not be chosen again.“

“I wanted to take a moment to shout out an amazing restuarant located in minneapolis called Nolos Kitchen & Bar! As most of you know by now my girls and I had planned to fly out to california for my bachelorette party and winded up with a cancelled flight first thing in the morning at 4am thanks to microsoft. after we arrived to the airport and stood in line for 4 hours we were told that the next flight wasn’t available for another 24hours at 6 am the next day. We decided to go get breakfast while we figured out our next move and what we were supposed to do for the next 24 hours. We arrived to Nolos in pretty low spirits but that was quickly turned around when we met our waitress. Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, but they went as far as to make us my favorite cocktail (which wasn’t even on the menu!) As we sat and enjoyed our breakfast we talked about where we should go/what we should do/ and about how tired we were because we were only running on a couple of hours of sleep. We were at the point of even contemplating piling back into the car to take a nap when our sweetheart of a waitress approached us and informed us that they had a basement bar that didn’t open until 5 pm that night. She proceeded to tell us that since the basement bar didn’t open till later the owner offered us their full basement as a safe haven for the day for us to get some sleep/ hang out in until we were ready for our next move. The basement had a lounge room for all my girls to pile in and get a few hours of sleep as well as whenever we wanted a drink or snack we could go right up stairs and order as needed. AS WELL as it was fully stocked with arcade games and a photo booth to keep us occupied.Ontop of everything they even covered 50% of our food and drink tabs😭 Nolo’s genuinely saved us that day- and i could never be more thankful that we walked into that restaurant that morning. We were met with nothing but kindess and generosity. If you want to go somewhere with kind people , AMAZING food, fun cocktails , and overall an amazing atmosphere I would HIGHLY reccomend Nolos Kitchen & Bar in minneapolis. I promise you won’t be dissapointed ! Thank you NOLO's Kitchen staff for going above and beyond !!!!“

“If you love old world supper clubs. The "Lex" is for you. Sadly I can not give it 4 stars until they up their game and get an espresso machine. Imagine a beautiful brass Espresso machine sitting behind the bar! Anyone who remembers the old Williams Cafe in Uptown knows what I am talking about. I can't think of another restaurant in their price range that does NOT offer Espresso in the Mpls-St. Paul area.“

“Went here on a whim today cause my wife and I had to make a return at the Staples next door. Legitimately one of the best eggs benedicts I’ve ever had and their cheese hashbrowns are incredible.
