“Easy to order, easy to get food, easy to get your beverage. First time. Just ordered from the bartender. Probably keeping costs low. But that’s fine. Food and drinks were fine. Typical brat or wurst, onion rings were tasty. I would go back for trivia or initials night. :)“

“Good Day Cafe was a a restaurant focusing on breakfast we found on our recent trip to Minneapolis. They had a menu full of awesome looking breakfast dishes. I tried the Crab Cake Eggs Benny which came with an English muffin, homemade crab cakes, 2 poached eggs, and of course hollandaise sauce. I came with some home fry style potatoes as well. This was one of the best breakfast dishes I've ever had the privilege of eating. The potatoes were excellent but that eggs Benny was a legend. Specifically the crab cake was soooo good and had sooooo much flavour. Words can't do justice to how good it is. You just need to try it. My wife enjoyed her German pancake almost as much as I enjoyed my Eggs Benny. The restaurant was so bright and vibrant with lots of sunflower decor around. The service was excellent as well. This was a super awesome place and if I lived in the area I'd be here all the time.“

“As out of towners, we weren’t sure about this place based on outside and location. But wow! The inside is gorgeous, every food item was delicious (we split a buffalo chicken wrap, French dip, tots and cup of soup). Our waitress Jackie was awesome! “We held our company Christmas Party at their beautiful restaurant and had such a great time! The staff were so attentive and wonderful to interact with throughout the whole evening! We ordered an array of food and our employees couldn’t stop talking about how fantastic the prime rib and KFC (Korean fried cauliflower) were! The talk around the shop about this event and the delicious food went on for days! We all had such a great experience from start to finish. They made it so easy to plan, set up, host and tear down. We would highly recommend anyone looking to host a party to come here! Now if you are just looking for a bite to eat for a date night or family night out, they also have you covered. No matter what plans you have this is the spot to be! A huge thanks to Lake and Irving for all they did for us and a massive thank you to Chris the chef! “Ryan was the absolute best server that I have encountered in my life! I have an anaphylaxis food allergy. He was so on top of making sure that whatever I ordered wasn't going to be an issue. “Myself and four friends were in Minneapolis for a few days on a visit from Ireland and had breakfast here a few times. Food was delicious. Great choice on the menu. Service was brilliant. Staff friendly and efficient.“

“I finally made it to Matt’s bar to check out the “Original” Jucy Lucy. Hamburger was great, as expected. Fries were shoestring and were perfect and delicious. Service was great. I went on a Monday afternoon and we sat down right away and were eating in about 20 minutes.

This really is more of a restaurant now. Because of the food, there is a LOT of turnover and it’s mostly food tourists. Even on a Monday. IDK if the kitchen closes, but maybe it turns more into a bar after that. The signs posted everywhere basically say “Others are waiting to be seated”. While there wasn’t a line when we were there, I’m sure there is when it’s weekend busy.

Good prices. They could be charging much more based on demand.

Lastly, cash only. There is an ATM on site with a $2 charge if you forget.

“Food was very good. My mom got the shrimp lemon and chicken pasta which was FANTASTIC 10/10 on that. My dad got the pot roast stroganoff which was also fantastic another 10/10. I got the prime rib French dip which the sandwich was fantastic, however the au jus was very bland which was disappointing. The tater tots were awesome. Would definitely eat here again!!“

“First time I visited since Veterans Day. Your sticker indicated a three percent service fee due to supply chain issues. Why don’t you just raise your prices to cover those issues. If the supply chaiin issues are solved you can offer a price rollback. I’ll find another place that posts their prices instead of service charging.“

“The service is horrible. Waited 20mins before getting someone to take just our drink order and it was the bartender from inside not even our server that noticed we were still sitting there with nothing. Then barley good service once our waiter did finally come. We all could have had another drink but never could since we werent asked till after we were done with food. Food was actually really good and good portions for the price. But the service ruined it. I can't recommend this place and don't know if we will back. Plenty of other places with good food that actually have good service.“

“Lost my comment. Try again. On May 19th a group of family members went to the Bloomington Culvers. We were celebrating my grandsons grade school concert. I was unable to go up front to order and my son asked if someone could help me. Jose (spelling) I believe was the night manager. He came back to my table and took my order. He was so gracious and kind. I so appreciated his help. I didn't have the right walker and it would have been difficult without help to go up front. I can't thank him enough. It is so nice to go to a restaurant and know everyone is so friendly and willing to make your experience a good one. Thank you Don and Misty for such a wonderful crew. “Every time we are in south Minneapolis, we try to eat at Wise acres. A few years ago I had a special of the day. It was a BELT sandwich. This is a BLT with an egg. This was the best sandwich I have every had in my life. Never found it again. But, I'll keep looking for it.“

“I wanted to take a moment to shout out an amazing restuarant located in minneapolis called Nolos Kitchen & Bar! As most of you know by now my girls and I had planned to fly out to california for my bachelorette party and winded up with a cancelled flight first thing in the morning at 4am thanks to microsoft. after we arrived to the airport and stood in line for 4 hours we were told that the next flight wasn’t available for another 24hours at 6 am the next day. We decided to go get breakfast while we figured out our next move and what we were supposed to do for the next 24 hours. We arrived to Nolos in pretty low spirits but that was quickly turned around when we met our waitress. Not only was the food PHENOMENAL, but they went as far as to make us my favorite cocktail (which wasn’t even on the menu!) As we sat and enjoyed our breakfast we talked about where we should go/what we should do/ and about how tired we were because we were only running on a couple of hours of sleep. We were at the point of even contemplating piling back into the car to take a nap when our sweetheart of a waitress approached us and informed us that they had a basement bar that didn’t open until 5 pm that night. She proceeded to tell us that since the basement bar didn’t open till later the owner offered us their full basement as a safe haven for the day for us to get some sleep/ hang out in until we were ready for our next move. The basement had a lounge room for all my girls to pile in and get a few hours of sleep as well as whenever we wanted a drink or snack we could go right up stairs and order as needed. AS WELL as it was fully stocked with arcade games and a photo booth to keep us occupied.Ontop of everything they even covered 50% of our food and drink tabs😭 Nolo’s genuinely saved us that day- and i could never be more thankful that we walked into that restaurant that morning. We were met with nothing but kindess and generosity. If you want to go somewhere with kind people , AMAZING food, fun cocktails , and overall an amazing atmosphere I would HIGHLY reccomend Nolos Kitchen & Bar in minneapolis. I promise you won’t be dissapointed ! Thank you NOLO's Kitchen staff for going above and beyond !!!!“

“We come here all the time, and Collin absolutely made our visit tonight. Not sure if he's new, if he is you'd never know it — he was so attentive, upbeat, and on top of everything. Every order was spot-on, every need taken care of quickly, and he made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. “Went here randomly after a karate tournament and we were in the area. We were presently surprised by the variety of food. The quality of everything the service was impeccable, and we were very satisfied with our meals. Will absolutely come back if presented with the opportunity in the future heck we might even make the drive.“

Biggest negative was how loud it was in the dining room. We felt like our servers were yelling to present the dish. It was uncomfortable how loud the room was with only 20 or so people in there. I felt it really made the dining experience rather chaotic. My companions and I were unable to have an awesome experience due to the noise.“
