“Visited the Golden Valley, MN location after a busy day. We didn’t realized they closed at 8:30 pm. There was a staff that was taking out the trash. Even though he said they were closed he still went above and beyond and served us. We were so grateful and appreciative of this incredible kindness and customer service!“

“This is a strictly take out/ delivery place so there is no dine in option. The storefront is purely functional and serves as semi storage for restaurant materials. That said, the food is good. I had a bad experience here maybe 12 years ago but it has clearly changed ownership and chefs since then. The food here is SOLID for that nostalgic American Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is epitome of what it should be (I was raised in my parents’ Chinese restaurants so I know) and the fried wing appetizers are terrific. My kids are obsessed. We also always get General Tso’s Chicken which every kid loves. I’ve also enjoyed Singapore noodles and Indonesian fried chicken ice here. Super glad to have a decent Chinese takeout in my neighborhood!“

“For those of you that remember the Nankin you will be so pleasantly surprised! They even have The Wanderers punch. Everything was fresh and delicious seasoned perfectly and the portions were enormous. Easily could share one dish for two. But get your own leftovers are wonderful . The prices were excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. Absolutely recommend“

“I’ve been here three times already and it never misses. Huge shout-out to their lamb sandwiches and of course, the handmade noodles. I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

“We absolutely love Rainbow Chinese! The food is always fresh and delicious. My go-to quick comfort food is their warm sesame noodles. My partner enjoys their General Tso’s Chicken every time. The restaurant itself is beautiful and I love seeing the fish in the tank when we dine in (but the food is also hot and packed great if you get to go). This place clearly has been created with love!“

No one in the south (this area) makes Chow Mein like House of Hui’s. This is always our first stop when we visiting!“

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. “I have driven by this restaurant hundreds of times. Never many cars in the parking lot. They do alot of take out orders. Today I decided to go there to look at the menue. I ordered the vegetable chow main. Wow, to my surprise it was the best Chinese dish I have had in a really long time. I will definitely go back again. Probably once a week. Take out pro es are great. “This one is a pretty solid Hong Kong style restaurant located inside Asia Mall in Eden Prairie, MN. It is on the first floor on the right side next to Kiefer bakery. This is also another HK style restaurant with real roast duck and roast pork. Surprisingly this place is not as busy as Mandarin Kitchen (MK) or Hong Kong Noodles (HKN) during the weekend. There are some plusses from this place: 1. They have Lunch Specials everyday, not just M-F like most others. 2. Their price for the quantity and quality is much better compared to MK or HKN 3. They do not charge extra for tea. 4. They do not automatically 18 percent gratuity in their bill. 5. Their service is much better than the other HK style restaurants with servers often refilling your drinks and removing or replacing your plates without being requested.
My recommendation: #1. Roast Duck and Roast Pork over rice for $18.50. #2. Pork and Egg Porridge for $6.50. Can't beat that price and quality. They also have live lobsters apparently but I did not try them yet.“

“This place has still got it. Very hole-in-the-wall vibes, but the pho is the best I've found in Minneapolis and the burbs. Bun with pork and spring rolls (#46) is also very good, and don't sleep on the VN Wings! They are not an appetizer as much as they are a hearty side. The flavor is intensely good, so if you have a sensitive pallete, they may be too much for you.

The owner is kind and helpful, and the rest of the family is pretty great, too.

The Vietnamese side of the menu is really where they shine, so pass on your orange chicken and get some pho or something.“

“This place recently went through some big changes. It’s an actual restaurant now with good seating. Pho has always been 10/10 here though. Definitely the best true Vietnamese spot in south Minneapolis. Everything on the menu tastes good. Can’t go wrong. Try something new.“

I usually do take out but at this location the atmosphere is a fun place to dine in.

The bun vermicelli noodle salad with pork meatballs and egg roll is refreshing and so tasty. A couple other excellent choices have been the Szechuan pork and the beef chow fun. Definitely give the pork egg rolls a try. The employees there are hard working, the perfect amount of attentive and very friendly. It’s definitely a hidden hole in the wall gem with excellent food and very friendly staff.“

A Chin Dynasty (2 half-entrees with rice) or an Imperial Plate (1 half-entree and 1 half-appetizer with rice) will usually result with leftovers for me. The Peking Chicken is a fan favorite. Miguel was working the dinner shift today and the speed and quality of service was excellent. I had take-out for dinner today. “Food was excellent, lunch is from open till 3pm. But u need to be there before 2:45, otherwise dinner starts. We got there at 2:50 and was charged for dinner. Ot was worth it, they put out fresh cooked crab legs, crayfish, mussels. We asked for vinegar and they said they dont have any.“

Been enjoying the General’s Chix and Wonton soup from Fresh Wok since 1997.
We live 35 minutes south of Mpls and this is the only Chinese takeout my family will have cuz they’re that GOOD!!!
Fresh, Real Chix breast chunks and a delicious sauce combined to make the most consistent dish we’ve ever had.
Will continue to enjoy when coming to the cities.
