“This is a strictly take out/ delivery place so there is no dine in option. The storefront is purely functional and serves as semi storage for restaurant materials. That said, the food is good. I had a bad experience here maybe 12 years ago but it has clearly changed ownership and chefs since then. The food here is SOLID for that nostalgic American Chinese food! The hot and sour soup is epitome of what it should be (I was raised in my parents’ Chinese restaurants so I know) and the fried wing appetizers are terrific. My kids are obsessed. We also always get General Tso’s Chicken which every kid loves. I’ve also enjoyed Singapore noodles and Indonesian fried chicken ice here. Super glad to have a decent Chinese takeout in my neighborhood!“

“Visited the Golden Valley, MN location after a busy day. We didn’t realized they closed at 8:30 pm. There was a staff that was taking out the trash. Even though he said they were closed he still went above and beyond and served us. We were so grateful and appreciative of this incredible kindness and customer service!“

“I’ve been here three times already and it never misses. Huge shout-out to their lamb sandwiches and of course, the handmade noodles. I’ve tried a few types, but the extra-thin ones in their soups are my favorite. Everything I’ve had so far has been great, full of flavor, and made with care. This place really fills a gap for something like this in Minneapolis, and I’m so happy to have it so close to home!“

“Great atmosphere and friendly workers. We were the only ones there at the time so we had free rein. Options were great. We got all you can eat hot pot which came with sushi too. My daughter didn't know how to eat the crawfish or shrimp and the worker came over to show her. Absolutely awesome of them. Totally weird but the toilet paper was so nice. Anyways, it's nice place to go.“

“We had a reservation for 7 - in the notes I specified 6 adults and a high chair. I could see our table had 7 adult seating's so I had to ask the hostess to fix that. Also specified we were there for a birthday celebration, again those notes must not make their way to the actual restaurant or they don't read them. When we checked in (we were 14 minutes early) for our reservation we were told we couldn't be seated until our actual reservation time. The restaurant had plenty of help and we didn't have our complete party with us which they knew and we were not expecting to order right away rather we just wanted to sit and relax. In sum, delicious food! I'd say this is a contender for another mom's and pop's Chinese restaurant that also makes savory, delish, pork fried rice. Usually, I get very thirsty after eating Chinese take out, but this time was different. The level of salt in the food is perfect (not salty at all) and the amount we paid, about $8.95 to 9.95 per combo meal is excellent at this age and time.“

We come here often and even visited for Christmas dinner last year — our experience is consistently exceptional.

Right off the bat this place is CLEAN. Floors, tables, everything is really tidy and sanitary.
You'll be brought a pot complimentary jasmine tea right away which is heavenly. Truly the best jasmine tea I've had; not even remotely bitter tasting like other green teas. They must brew it very carefully.

The service is always speedy too, regardless of how busy it is, every time we are surprised by how quickly our fresh food is ready! They’re efficient in the kitchen.

Our favorite thing on the menu is the Garlic Fried Sole fish! It melts in your mouth and the portion size is massive so it's a perfect entree to split.

The Asia Mall is fun to check out before or after dinner; we like to walk around the market afterward and take home some milk teas and candy. Parking is easy with the lot out front.

This really is a great destination; ever since Pagoda moved to Roseville we’d been missing our favorite Cantonese dishes and HomeTaste is easily the best Cantonese / Chinese food in the western part of the twin cities.“

“Came to dine in on Christmas Eve. Everything from the ambience, service and especially the food was wonderful! I’ve never been here and I can’t wait to come again and try more. Been enjoying the General’s Chix and Wonton soup from Fresh Wok since 1997.
We live 35 minutes south of Mpls and this is the only Chinese takeout my family will have cuz they’re that GOOD!!!
Fresh, Real Chix breast chunks and a delicious sauce combined to make the most consistent dish we’ve ever had.
Will continue to enjoy when coming to the cities.

“They have some of the best cream cheese wontons I’ve ever had! They were crispy and crunchy and warm but not greasy or chewy. They didn’t even lose their crispy texture later on, after eating them for leftovers! I also recommend their sugar donuts as they were delicious too and they were the least greasy sugar donuts I’ve experienced yet!

All of their other foods were a hit as well, but these were my favorites to eat in general and here at Xin Xin, they were the best I’ve had out of anywhere else.“

I love their broth for the Pho its honestly the best out of the other local Pho restaurants in terms of flavor. BBH was okay. It didn't like their broth as much but it was loaded with lots of meats. The service is really good, I appreciate there were checking on us with refill water and if the food was to our liking. Very kind people. 2 things I think they could improve on is the cleanliness of the store like the condiments thats out and secondly is their pricing is just a bit expensive (but still comparable to local restaurants .) When you walk into the restaurant, you are always greeted with smiling faces, kind and helpful employees. The employees work very hard and it shows at this Leeann Chin. If there was an issue with your food, this staff would go out of their way to fix it and make sure you have the perfect meal.The food is consistently hot, fresh and excellent. If they are running low on an item for your meal, they will make sure to run the food out to you to make sure you receive a hot and fresh meal. My family is so thankful to Leeann Chin for bringing back the Oyster Chicken Wings! They are so good, so you should try them if you haven't.We also wanted to make sure to mention how clean the staff keeps the dining room area. This is so important!
