“I recently visited Tous Les Jours to try their pastries and desserts, and it was a really enjoyable experience overall.

They have a wide selection of baked goods ranging from soft breads and croissants to beautifully decorated cakes and sweet pastries. Everything looked fresh and visually appealing, almost like a bakery display you’d want to try everything from. I tried a few of their pastries and desserts, and they were light, soft, and not overly sweet, which makes it easy to enjoy more than one item without feeling heavy.

The croissants were especially good — buttery with a nice flaky texture. Their cream-filled pastries were smooth and balanced in flavor, and the cakes had a nice airy texture that pairs well with coffee or tea.

“We arrived at Patrick's and were promptly seated. Our waiter, Dan went over the menu and the beverage list. He suggested the Pinot Noir and he offered us a taste. We wound up splitting a bottle which was delightful. My guest asked what he would recommend for an entrée and he said that the beef short ribs would be amazing. I asked about the rack of lamb and he said it was quite good even though it took the longest to prepare. Both dishes were amazing. When we finished eating we still had a good portion of our meal left. Dan brought us containers to take them home. He also asked about dessert but we were taking food home, we declined. Patrick's continues to be amazing whether at lunchtime or in the evening.“

“Welcoming & a Vibe. This is a real gem, a diamond in the rough. There is no place quite like Cafetto. It is punk, it is cozy, it is filled with music but it’s peaceful at the same time. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and apt at making the perfect cup of joe or chai of choice. If you need a place to vibe, work, or have some fun (especially with the plethora of pinball machines in the basement), this is the place to be. I just wish there was a location in St. Cloud, but to me this place alone is worth the drive!“

“My husband and I are in Deephaven for two weeks watching our grands and our son told us we needed to go out to breakfast at Beanhaven. He said “it’s like a little hometown cafe” so today after getting the grands off to school we did. Wow, such a cute place, delicious food and coffee and a delightful server. “I tried this restaurant for the first time. I really enjoyed their crepes and coffees. They were happy to tweak my order because I didn't see exactly what I wanted. The staff is very friendly. I took off one star because I asked the girl to please wipe off my table. She did so reluctantly and did a poor job. Otherwise, it was a new and fun dining experience. Use the menu instead of looking off the board when trying to place your order, it's easier.“

“We love Smith! It is our favorite spot for pizza. Pizza night is the best, especially if you have little kids. If we remember, we reserve ahead and get a table. Otherwise we bring our picnic blanket. Our kids are all under 5 and we love letting them play in the garden. The pizza is amazing and so are the salads. I appreciate a menu that offers a few things and does them really well. This is pretty much the only restaurant I can bring my kids to and have a nice relaxing time myself. It’s a little chilly both in aesthetic and temperature. More plants could help the vibe. And while I’m sure the building controls the thermostat, the door on the NW side of the cafe could be restricted or discouraged for use on chilly days. Every time someone comes or goes that way half the cafe is flooded with cold air, making it less tempting to come sit for a fall morning coffee. The revolving doors just steps away control air flow better. Hoping third times a charm for this new cafe. It has the foundation for it and I will be back!“

“Our company had a last minute breakfast this morning we needed catered, and found out 2days before (Wednesday night) the caterer we usually use couldn’t accommodate us. I called Ryan’s Cafe as soon as they opened Thursday morning and Ryan answered. I asked if there was any possible way he could cater breakfast for 57 the next morning by 7 am. He was in the middle of preparing for another event he was catering that day, but was gracious enough to ask questions, offer options and take down my information. He even made suggestions on which items to cut back on so I wasn’t overspending. He had the quote back to me in less than 30 minutes.Anthony, one of Ryan’s employees, arrived the next morning at 6:50 am with the food and had it all ready to serve by 7 am! The presentation was fantastic and the food even better! We had a variety of breakfast burritos and sandwiches (sausage, bacon, ham and a vegetarian option), hash browns, fresh fruit, pastries and all the condiments including butter, cream cheese, hot sauce, etc. Anthony was very helpful and gracious too!Everyone raved about how delicious and fresh the food was, and the generous quantities! And the bonus…the price was very competitive!I can’t say enough good things about Ryan, Anthony and Ryan’s Cafe! “Newish Somali spot that has been in the neighborhood for around two years now. They have a number of outstanding dishes, but my go to is the chicken suqqar and beef steak over rice. They give you a nice portion of thinly cut steak along with a heaping of chicken suqqar over a bed of rice and peppers. A salad, banana, and complimentary drink are also provided in traditional Somali fashion.

Dining area available with about ten tables, but it is a counter service spot. People there are super friendly and it is a scratch kitchen, so be prepared to wait a little if it's busy, but the end game will be well worth your time.
