They offered a refund or for me to come back. I was super hungry so obviously I went back. By the time I arrived my sandwich was coming off the grill. They gave me the sandwich with a smile and apologized for the mistake.“

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.“

I did not realize this until after a 20min drive home. “Music is so loud that you cannot hear the staff and communication is non existent. I have had to send back every single hot sandwich i have ordered because they never ask about adding cold toppings. A certain manager on duty is very belligerent and rude (male, i did not get his name). The tables are never clean without being asked for them to clean them.

“We ordered DoorDash today and the driver delivered the wrong order, blaming the restaurant and it being busy. DoorDash gave us a full refund and I called the restaurant to let them know about the mix up in case the other person called wondering what happened. Ms. K answered and was nothing but kind and patient, offering to bring us the food herself once the lunch rush died down. 30 minutes later she arrived at my house with the food, and extra cookies! I cannot stress enough how much we appreciated her going above and beyond. What an amazing manager!“

“Have been here several times. Always clean, plenty of parking.

Today (4/9/26) only one person was working when we came in (5:30ish). A couple was waiting and we were in line.

The single working person did very well staying calm and managing multiple issues — the store was out of Parmesan, there were online orders, customers in real life, the waiting couple.

It quickly became apparent that the waiting couple had an online app order issue/complaint of some kind and the single employee was too new to know how to service the issue. The employee was calm and polite and apologetic, clearly trying hard. The couple did not seem to understand the response that this employee did not know how to process the app issue. The employee did reach out to an off-site supervisor who did call back. A second employee came in for their shift and also spoke to this couple.

No matter all of that, the original employee steadily worked and the store was calm and functioning. Employee reminded us of sub of the day, mentioned that avocado was extra, recommended that we get three cookies instead of two because it would be cheaper. They knew their stuff. Hats off to this person (Alexis) who did not get rattled or frustrated.

Food normal. No Parmesan, but really, who cares? That’s fine.“

I recommend coming here if you like warm sandwiches, quick food, and good service as I’ve always been extremely happy. “In Minneapolis skyway close to Target Store. Had Philly cheesesteak and it’s very good. The price for the large sub was $14, still cheaper than the overpriced and unethical Subway in Northeast Minneapolis on Central. Really, the skyway location most likely has higher rent.“

The sandwiches are all very good (chicken and cheddar is my go-to) and my wife always gets a salad, which they are great at customizing the way she likes. But what is striking is that the people working here are always friendly. They seem to be in good humor and enjoy interacting with their customers.“

“I have been there 5 times and left 4 of the 5 because of the lines. With that being said, last week I stayed and waited almost 2 hours between ordering and getting my food. I try to support all black owners business however you all have been opened for a few weeks now, you see what kind of lines you have and yet you still only have 1 cashier and 1 person on personal phone calls and passing out food. While I waited in that line for over an hour just to order, after I ordered a friend of the girl who does nothing but talk on the phone and pass out food came in and she allowed him to bypass everyone else who was waiting and gasp she actually rang him up. Took care of three people without blinking an eye, quickly, perfectly. If you live in the area or drive by here and you are looking for a great sandwich, stop here.“

“My husband and I live right by this subway and have come well over 20 times. Came in tonight with an employee we’ve never seen before, his name was Trey I believe. Hands down the best subway employee we’ve ever come across. He looked fairly young and most young employees these days aren’t very welcoming or in high spirits. We should have said this to his face but figured I’d write a review since we didn’t.

Every aspect of the Shakopee location is off the charts 5stars. Tonight there was a big miscommunication on our delivery order.
