“Best dive bar in little Canada, let’s go!!“

“On top of having great service the food was amazing. I had half a dozen Oysters, they were delicious and the King Crab leg with there ranch and cheese mashed potatoes. It was a lot of food but the best I’ve had. I’d say they were as good as or better than the Oceanaire downtown Minneapolis. Bill was $180 before the tip.“

“This is such an adorable speak easy. Very moody and great music. The fire roasted apple flat bread was so flavorful! The coconut shrimp was good. Drinks where amazing, had a pain killer with dinner and espresso martini for dessert. Only thing I did not like was the tarimisu.. thats not tarimisu, there was no lady fingers, no espresso, no flavor.. it was like cake texture with a heaping pile of powdered sugar frosting. Ill try a different desert next time“

“I work for Midway Saloon but the Sunday of the Packer Vikings game we had a father and son who drove from Green Bay and stayed at the B &B next to Midway Saloon. They went to Blackhart either Saturday or Sunday. Tony was bartending. They had a blast! Tony was taking care of these two out of towners making them feel right at home. Tony just being Tony and making people feel welcome at Blackhart! They wanted to thank Tony for making there stay very enjoyable! Just passing on Positive stuff

It’s in the heart of downtown. This bar is an adults type place, though—wouldn't recommend bring the kids. If you're looking for a no-frills spot to grab a drink and relax, this is it. “This is a hidden gem in St. Paul. It's a small venue, but big enough you contect with both the crowd around you and the band. We saw Carbon Leaf, and it felt like they were there just for us. My only complaint was the soound quality was not always the best. After the show, we had a snack on the bar side. Great selection of tap beers. The grilled cheese was delicious and you do need to try to gravy fries! They hit the spot! Highly recommend this place and if Carbon Leaf comes back,.we are there!! ❤“

Also the food runners didn’t auction off food, they knew where everyone was, and delivered accordingly. Seriously one of the best dining out experiences!

“The Wildwood Tavern has become one of those neighborhood havens we don’t simply frequent—we genuinely look forward to returning to.

Being only a hop, skip, & a jump away certainly makes it convenient, but convenience alone doesn’t make a place a favorite. It’s the atmosphere, the food, the drinks, the people, and that comfortable neighborhood feeling that makes Wildwood special. There’s something to be said for having a place close to home where you can walk through the door, settle in, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

We have spent enough time here that Wildwood has quietly become part of our little corner of the world—and that means something to us.

Great atmosphere, great people, and a neighborhood tavern that actually feels like a neighborhood tavern. We’ll continue to venture on back…

Mr Greg Menzel and Mr Axel Nelson were my primary contacts. They were friendly answered all of my questions thoroughly and timely. In short, they made the process easy—totally stressless for me

The food was plentiful, and most important, absolutely delicious. The Howe provided a broad selection of food choices and the chef was really helpful at helping me estimate the amounts we would need. All of the guests had good things to say about the food

The service was fantastic. The staff were friendly, very attentive to our guests and exceptionally accommodating to everyone’s needs. Because of their attentiveness and professionalism, the party ran very smoothly.
